Cool Water with tons of classiness more, serious aquatic!

It's an average every day scent. Smells a bit metallic and fresh. Projection is okay and lasting power weak. Very subtle and ideal for office.

Perfect for the heat, even in Brazil haha

از معدود عطرهای خنکیه که توجه منو به خودش جلب کرد.اصولا با عطر خنک میونه خوبی ندارم.همه شون به نظرم یه جور باز میشن.یه تم اصلی دارند و تکراری هستند
اصولا به این نتیجه رسیدم روایح خوب گویا فقط در عطرهای گرم یافت میشن ولی خب این یکی بدک نبود.تلاش خودش رو داره میکنه تو دلم جا باز کنه

Well, I blind bought this fragrance based on the notes and also the reviews!
I said to myself, OK the notes are great, almost all the reviews are positive, the price is low, the bottle is beautiful .... so let's blind buy this!
Did I regret?! no, but it wasn't something that I've expect!
It's a sweet, fresh and fruity fragrance with good quality and pleasant smell, but if you have so many great fresh and aquatic fragrances, you don't need to buy this because it's not something new or unique in the fragrance world!
The opening is fresh and sweet mix of juniper berries and grapefruit followed by papper!
The pepper is strong at the opening but fade away in a blink of eye!
The lavender note is not in the note break down but I smelled that in the opening.
It's not strong and synthetic like cool water from this house for example, but it's there and settle down and fade away really quick.
In the mid the sweet juniper berries come in front, the grapefruit is almost gone and some woodsy and spicy notes trying to pick in but they are not successful! and you have this smell to the end.
The projection is average but longevity is good.

Well, actually with more wearing this fragrance, now I found the base a little different than the mid!
In the base, the sweet note settle down and you can smell woods easily which is so pleasant and masculine.I like the base much more than the opening and mid.
The woods are very light and transparent but they smell really good and natural and give this fragrance a little more character!

یه عطر خوشبو و شیرین که اگه تعداد زیادی عطر بهاره و تابستونه ندارین و یا اصلا ندارین میتونه گزینه مناسبی باشه اما اگه کارهای خوبی برای این دو فصل دارین بی خیالش بشین چون چیز خاص یا جدیدی ارائه نمیده
رایحه اولیه این عطر بوی شاداب و البته شیرین نوعی میوه خاص کوهستانی هست که بویی تقریبا شبیه گیلاس داره اما متفاوته، به اضافه گریپ فروت و مقداری فلفل
بوی تند فلفل خیلی سریع و در چند ثانیه محو میشه و نگران فلفل نباشین
در ادامه بوی عطر کمی شیرین تر میشه و بوی اون میوه کوهستانی که گفتم تقریبا بر تمامی رایحه ها غالب میشه و اونا رو به کنار میرونه
مقدار خیلی کمی بوی هل و بوی چوب هم وجود داره اما خیلی ضعیف هستن و باید خیلی عمیق بو بکشین تا متوجه اون بشین
بوش تا آخر تقریبا به همین صورت میمونه
پخش بوش معمولیه اما ماندگاری نسبتا خوبی داره
من اینو بدون تست و بر اساس نظرات مردم و همینطور رایحه های تشکیل دهنده اش خریدم
پشیمون نیستم چون عطر بدی نیست اما اون چیزی هم که انتظار داشتم نبود
اگه عطرهای خوبی برای بهار و تابستون دارین با خریدن این چیز جدیدی به کلکسیونتون اضافه نمیشه
با توجه به قیمتش عطر خوبیه برای هدیه دادن

A true commercial Airline pilot chemistry.

i really respect this scent. used it four years ago.very welcoming, nice and alluring. only the masterpiece from Davidoff. Rest all are disappointments.

This fragrance is so amazing and unique and it totally fits the pilot-style it represents!
First, the take off: an explosion of spicy pepper, sweet berries and bitter grapefruit - it pushes you back into the seat, in your stomach a slight rumble, filling you with the joy of anticipation and giving you ideas of the adventures you are about to experience. Also, there is this cool, metallic touch that reminds you of the sparkling and strong machine that is carrying you. (It stays for the whole duration and sometimes slightly reminds me of Azzaro - Chrome)
Then, the climb: exotic spices and this incredibly warm scent of cedarwood let you slowly calm down, tightening the images of your imminent explorations and letting you feel comfy and successful.
After a while, you reach the peak and enter the spheres above the clouds: A slight, white and clean breeze lets you stay fresh, like smooth shreds of clouds faning your head, woody and musky notes underline your comfy and safe position and give you a feeling for the eternity outside your window, while they remember you of your roots at the same time, together with the metallic shine of the plane you are on.

This perfume is one of my absolute favourite scents: I love the perfectly balanced composition and the emotions it awakes in me: it lasts almost 10 hours on my skin and even longer on my clothes and I think, it has one of the best fitting commercials and names ever!

A very unique scent! Feels very clean and sweet yet very subtle, maybe a little too subtle with horrible silage though. Longevity is pretty good but after 2 hours I can't really detect it on myself but that could just be olfactory fatigue because I love this scent so much that I keep smelling it!

This is completely different from the other Davidoffs. This is a sparkling, forest dew-like essence, but not green. More like a damp forest after heavy rain. One of the cleanest smells I have encountered.

I have tested many Davidoffs till now, this is the BEST. It does not mean that others are bad.. NO, they are pretty good, however this is the BEST and the Fragrance is amazing and longevity is also somewhere 7-9 hrs on my skin. A must have casual perfume for everyone!

it is very similar to aqua di.

One of the better woody fragrances in my collection; very much an "every day" fragrance, I wear this to work a lot. This opens brightly with lots of spicy, peppery notes and dries down to a smooth woody peppery scent with a dose of cardomom pushing through which makes this a bit different to most others. Longevity is good; this seems to last most of the day on my skin. Sillage isn't too spectacular but overall this is the complete package. Nothing at all like the original Silver Shadow which screams "old man" to me; I suspect this would work well for anyone who likes a masculine, woody fragrance.

I first smelled this in my friend's bathroom. It was his dad's. Since then, everytime I went for a piss in his bathroom I kept smelling it, and I knew I had to have it.
The scent is very well balanced. The top is great, bitterness from the grapefruit and a bit of sweetness- the juniper berry note. Middle and base are musky, stingy, with remnants of the top notes. 9/10
The sillage is AMAZING. While I was doing my rehearsals in this huge theathre hall, everybody kept telling me I smell very nice-which I don't get with the other frags I own. 9.5/10
Longevity isn't very good. I get about 4-6 hours on my skin, and then it starts to slowly fade away. And you can barely feel it on your clothes the next day. 7/10
It can be used on almost every occasion, it's a clean, spicy, fruity daytime scent. And for the price it's sold for, it's an absolute bargain. BUY IT!!

I love the smell, but it only last for 2-3hrs on my skin..

It's my current number 1 fragrance. Love it :P Fresh, Sexy, Long Lasting, NEVER tired of this scient. Im 21 and i think that this fragrance is perfect for 20+ :p

Very fresh and clean! Similar to other Cool water editions. This is easy to wear, but that's why it's nothing special!

And longevity is weak like always, like all the Davidoff perfumes!

I am not a big fan of silver shadow altitude.i bought this cologne 3 years
ago and i was disappointed because it doesent last long on my skin (around 2 hours).

When you first spray it on you get a very fresh and clean scent but fades and become smelling cheap.the scent is so soft.Nothing special i prefer the original silver shadow.

Imagine this, a diluted version of original Silver Shadow mixed with the Cool Water scent! And there you have Silver Shadow Altitude! It has the opening of Silver Shadow but dry down is very similar to Cool Water! A lack of creativity but not bad for casual wearing.

From the first day that I smelled this perfume, I can't find other that satisfied for me better than this one.

Smell is very fresh. You can feel that you stand in forest with fresh air and wind to make you relax and feel comfortable.
I really feel that i have vacation in forest after smell this.

For honestly, I try more than 20 in popular smell. But I can't find anyone better than this.
Even I love it so much, but the smell doesn't long enough. It's about 3 hours.

But that doesn't make any trouble just spray it again :P

I don´t like Davidoff very much. Well, this is what I thought. But I shouldn´t judge a whole brand, because I definetely like Silvershadow Altitude! Even better than some of the other very popular aquatics for men out there, because it doesn´t smell synthetic and the fresh notes together with the spiciness and the cardamom are very well composed. Great lasting power also. I really recommend to try this one, if you are searching for a fresh everyday fragrance.

Altitude is very easy to wear. Nice spicy aquatic that's slightly sweet and not at all synthetic. It really has nothing to do with the original Davidoff Silver Shadow, which is good. Longevity? Lasts for at least 8 to 10 hours on my skin.

Highly recommended! Definitely worth the money... :D

I am editing my previews note. A peppery smell is proeminent for 2 hours or so. Zegna Z has some pepper in the composition too, a little less than Altitude (at least less persistent) and, in my opinion, a little more pleasant ":-)! But Z may looks like more generic for some.

It may be a woody fragrance but i feel more citrus than wood, making it more fresh than i expected. Still.. a very good fragrance. I bought it for my son & he rly loved it :).

PS. don't compare this with the original. This has a modern, almost teen scent and the first Silver Shadow has a clasic scent for a mature man.

One of the best scents by Davidoff! Way way better than Silver Shadow.

U have here a very cool scent.
It doesn't have a very complex drydown cause its changes are very subtle.
It starts with a cool scent of grapefruit: light, aromatic, fresh. At the end it becomes more woody, but with no major diference, still keeping a light & almost fresh scent. Lasting power is also good.

This fragrance is for everyday use as it doesn't impose, being very subtle, soft, delicate.
