Silver Shadow Altitude by Davidoff is a woody aromatic fragrance for men. Silver Shadow Altitude is a new fragrance and it was introduced in 2007. The nose behind this fragrance is Jean Jacques. Top notes are juniper berries, green pepper and grapefruit; middle notes are caraway, cedar and cardamom; base notes are musk, cashmere wood and incense.

I am editing my previews note. A peppery smell is proeminent for 2 hours or so. Zegna Z has some pepper in the composition too, a little less than Altitude (at least less persistent) and, in my opinion, a little more pleasant ":-)! But Z may looks like more generic for some.

It may be a woody fragrance but i feel more citrus than wood, making it more fresh than i expected. Still.. a very good fragrance. I bought it for my son & he rly loved it :).

PS. don't compare this with the original. This has a modern, almost teen scent and the first Silver Shadow has a clasic scent for a mature man.

One of the best scents by Davidoff! Way way better than Silver Shadow.

U have here a very cool scent.
It doesn't have a very complex drydown cause its changes are very subtle.
It starts with a cool scent of grapefruit: light, aromatic, fresh. At the end it becomes more woody, but with no major diference, still keeping a light & almost fresh scent. Lasting power is also good.

This fragrance is for everyday use as it doesn't impose, being very subtle, soft, delicate.
