Anything can say this perfume, but that is male ... NO!
So, I open the container, didn't even spray the bottle yet, and now all i smell in my room is CINNAMON. I dont mind, I LOVE the smell. Very strong, projection is very good as well. If you do not like strong cologne's, this is not for you. very WARM smell.
|4.5/5
I have some of the original formula from 2003 from a closeout store. It works really well in the cold of winter. Cinnamon is kicked up, yet there are other notes that make it complex and rich. The ingredients seem synthetic, especially the violet. This isnt really bad or surprising. Its a true oriental with lots of spices, recalling Boucheron Jaipur. It is like a harsh version of Habit Rouge.
I do pick up a little sandalwood at the base with lots of ambery vanilla. The vanilla is rich giving it a candy like appeal.
The only real problem I found with it is the bottle. The design is clever, yet my spayer leaked and caused the red label to erode. The bottom says made in the EU. I cannot tell how much is left. Its strange that it was reformulated rather quickly.
Its strong Strong Strong. I dont like the smell. But you wear it, People will smell u in the crowed, But they may not like the smell. I gave it to my father. one of my blind buy.
Love this zero plus !! Try layer it with Blue sugar by aquolina, it's amazing
!!!! :) must buy!
This is a great fragrance if you enjoy Cinnamon. I wear this mostly through December for the holidays or when Im in the mood for spicy. It lasts long and projection is well. Its a great price and you can find this easily around 11.99-24.99 the lowest ive seen this is at 9.99. Diesel Plus Plus is not better then this. I bought Plus Plus for 10 bucks in china town in NY lol when I was a teen. It smelled good at the time but ive grown out of these smells. I prefer more luxury, independent and fragrances from fashion houses. But sometimes I do occasionally buy these value fragrances that are classic and last long for day wear or casual wear (like: Joop, Grey Flannel, Calvin Klein Truth, Paco Robanne, Calvin Klein Euphoria Intense, Bowling Green, Diesel Zero Plus, Tommy Bahama) to not use up my top-notch fragrances everyday or grow tired of.
Cinnamon, cinnamon, cinnamon! I love it.
Something I can't easily rank if I like it or not. It's vanilla and beans but in an unnatural way. Seems all the notes are came on from labs. But with these all, it's not bad. Smells a little near to cosmetics.
I like this. I spray it on my socks, gives me sweet feet. This is a positive review.
This one was reformulated about 5 years ago. It used to be more musky and less synthetic. Still it is very pleasant cinnamon dressed up for a guy.
From all synthetic fragrances I would not say this one smells cheap at all.
Reminds me of Tiger balm.
Sure it's cheap and rather synthetic-smelling, but after acquiring a vintage bottle of Samsara EDP, it just sort of occurred to me that this is somewhat similar. I know it doesn't really share the same scent pyramid and certainly doesn't share the same pedigree or DNA, but it's as if the wearer has applied some Samsara several hours ago and is chewing a few pieces of the cinnamon-scented "Big Red" chewing gum while holding a balloon.
Maybe a better analogy, and one that I'll paraphrase and have seen before, would be - popping a balloon filled with powder, cinnamon candy and some Samsara. There's a rather latex-like quality to this that somehow appeals to me. Weird, I know - but fragrance impressions are all very subjective ;)
After trying this a couple times, I can see why it's been discontinued. This smells like a poor mans Burberry London and Chanel Allure. I generally enjoy powdery and/or spicy fragrances but this stuff is too over the top for me. The best way I can describe this scent is imagine if someone grabbed a handful a cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves, then smacked you in the face!
It's just a huge spicy, powdery, cinnamony mess and actually, I've never experienced a fragrance making me sneeze ever but this one manged to do so. Although many people seem to enjoy this scent, I find it cloying and too darn spicy. My throat actually stings when I sniff this. Oh, and in terms of longevity and sillage, this is probably the best of the best, but it's too bad I don't enjoy it!
The first fragrance I ever owned, I had this and polo blue and even then I chose polo blue over this for night-time or dates and got alot of compliments for it! The only few times I wore this one of my friends said "who smells like candy hooker?" =/. Very strong definitely not a daytime frag, im not sure really when the occasion is to wear it, still have half a bottle from 2000
I thing this frag is older than 2003 ( it's from the 90-s), but for me it's smells of Coca Cola ( concentrated) and some 2 or 3 chewing gums - put together in your mouth... You can produce the same effect with less funds.
i just got the Zero Plus Masculine i can say this its a very strong smell but it mellows out after a 1 minute for a warm smell there so many spicys u can smell in this it might be better to wear at night of in cool weather but it works for me all seasons its a very good cologne best place to buy this cologne is at Marshalls for $14.99
i am looking to trade this cologne for something eles its a full bottle
Spicy sharp cinnamon explosion. No wonder the bottle looks like a compressed-air tank. An Intense and synthetic smell, definitely for the young.
While I like spicy fragrances this is very one dimensional. A huge blast of fresh cinnamon that lingers for a long while. While I have this and like to occasionally wear it I must say it is a little brash and youthful. More early 20's single bar hopper than 40 something professional. There's a place for this but for me it is increasingly rare that I reach for it over more grown up scents in my collection.
If you love cinnamon, this scent is for you, no matter if you're a boy or a girl! I also hardly get anything else than cinnamon from it, and it is a very dry, powder cinnamon in large quantity, which dries down with a bit of woodsy notes. Absolutely a unisex fragrance, at a really affordable price (pity it's been discontinued though), especially that it is quite long lasting (and very long lasting on clothes), but stays rather close to the skin. I know 0+ for women which was much sweeter and less "dry" than this one, but I think I prefer the masculine version. Great for colder days!
Too "synthetic" for me for the first hour or so, then it's a great cinnamon and heliotrope dominated fragrance. For those who like the idea but not the execution, try Jaipur Homme, which I think has stronger heliotrope and weaker cinnamon, but is more "natural" smelling overall. There are also two formulations of it, EdT and EdP, so if you don't like one you can try the other. As for this Diesel one, I'm not sure why they couldn't make it smell more natural. Would it have cost that much more to do it? The drydown is a bit weak, especially relative to the first hour, which again makes me ask why this was done. Was the perfumer a beginner? Anyway, the price right now is great, so if the "flaws" don't bother you, this might be an excellent fragrance to grab while it's still super cheap.
Besides the name and bottle design there are hardly any similarities between this and Plus Plus. It's definitely a fragrance for the colder days, with it's nutmeg and cinamon. Pretty heavy and pretty strong, so be carefull when you apply this!
Although it's discontinued you can still find it here and there (at least in Holland). I won't look for it again though, this one's a bit too much for me. Value for money though!
The first fragrance i owned, so i will always love it. It's not that sophisticated, but whenever i get a whiff i feel happy.
Amazing lasting power and gets heaps of compliments.
Dry, woody, faintly metallic from the nutmeg, dusty from the spices, heavy on the cinammon, with an earthy base from the patchouli & faintest aroma of bitter peel & suede above a white-hot stone.
Not as sweet as you would imagine from a scent seemingly formed to show case cinnamon. 0+ makes me wonder where the top & heart notes are hiding...put simply, it rushes through its entrance making a great base note out of its entire composition!
This is no disaster: if you like a fierce, white-hot, dusty cinnamon of the woodsy variety (not the cinnamon tic-tac type) then you will find this fragrance delightful alone or as a base to liven up many a pretty-but-dull perfume.
This is an inexpensive layering-lovely that will happily work with many fragrances, regardless of your age or sex (girls take note that this works very well with fruity scents that need taming & roughing up a little).
Cinnamon-lovers, even if you have turned your nose up at other Diesel frags (like me) give 0+ a whirl.....layer up & create something dark & spicy.
This is one of those discontinued fragrances that can still be found in many places and cheaply (I paid the equivalent of $14 US for 2.5 Oz). When I first tried it my impression was that it smelled like a more sudued version of Lagerfeld Classic.
Trying them in a side-by side test I can tell that the similarity is there, but not so much as I imagined. I think what I am detecting is the powderiness of both fragrances, plus the fact that they share musk, vanilla and amber in the base; and jasmine and rose in the middle notes. As both fragrances develop on the skin they become more alike.
It is these floral notes with the basenotes that give both fragrances a more feminine, or perhaps unisex feel.
It is a long-lasting fragrance that does not project too far from the body, but which is still detectable after 5 hours or so.
The only negative I have is the bottle: what a waste of plastic! I would much rather have had a cap to put on the bottle than the large plastic dome, which if you discard leaves you with a bottle with no lid. It is surely an example of poorly functioning design.
I didn't really spend much time with this one but its got this incense-like smokiness; quite suffocating. Too dry for my taste. Totally opposite from Plus Plus in white bottle. I give it Zero, no Plus.
umm i'm not sure but is this the one that smells like watermelon?
Bought this unsniffed for under 10$ and don't regret it. My decision was based on various reviews and I agree with most of them - this is cinnamon bomb! I don't get any of the citric notes (orange, bergamot) just pure sweet spiciness - nutmeg and cardamon in the opening, ciiiiinnamon in the middle notes and cinammon and vanilla (guess it makes the scent more powdery) and strong violet as it dries down. Very unusual perfume, unlike anything that I've smelt before. Can be worn easily by a girl - my girlfriend likes it much more than women version which is too delicate comparing to this one and wears it almost as often as I do. Lasting power is above average - lasts easily for 9-10 hours. If you like the scent of cinnamon this one is made for you, no matter you're male or female.
My fella has this, its soooo difficult to find now though so ive told him to buy another three bottles so we always have it in.
This is just about the best fragrance ive smelt on him, it does wonders for me (us!!) & i find it warm & a little powdery upon dry down. I can smell the vanilla & amber & i think the cinnamon warms the whole scent up on his skin although i cant detect the cinamon in it as an individual note.
Its inexpensive (when you can find it) but a true sensual fragrance with fantastic staying power. I even like it on myself when hes away on business but much prefer it on him.
A star fragrance that reaches parts other fragrances cannot reach!
I didn't get the cinnamon that everybody is talking about...disappointed as that is why I purchased this. But, I did find it interesting and surprised because it had an earthy aspect to it, on me, that I've not heard mentioned about it. I find this interestingly appealing. I recommend it for something a bit different. I am a woman and find it suitable along the same lines as TF's Black Orchid. It is earthy masculine but suitably feminine as well...at least on me anyway.
For several years, I'd sniff my way through the entire women's section without finding anything liked, and then cross over to the men's section instead. Zero Plus Masculine was my signature scent for a long time - I've had more fun in this fragrance than I dare tell my mother about.
It certainly has a lot of cinnamon, but also several different spices, my old friends heliotrope and violet, and is that a faint bubblegum scent I smell? Sparkly, sexy and luckily not too heavy.
Fantastic. I absolutely love this in every way shape and form.
WARNING: You must adore cinnamon to appreciate this. If you don't, then don't even bother. :-)
A good cinnamon fragrance, but that's all I get from it. Cinnamon, cinnamon and a bit of vanilla. A little bit heavy if overapplied. Good staying power and sillage.
A little heavy, but very unique. Sexy and a bit dark, suits for winter evenings. Yet modern young, and worth a try...
