Cruise Collection - Escale a Portofino by Dior is fragrance for women. The nose behind this fragrance is Francois Demachy. Top notes are Calabrian bergamot, Italian citron and petit grain; middle notes are bitter almond, orange blossom, juniper berries touched with cold spices; base notes are cedar, cypress, galbanum, caraway and white musk. It comes in 75ml edt and 125ml edt bottles. This is the first fragrance in new Dior collection named "Cruise Collection" and it was inspired by the romantic Italian riviere. Cruise Collection - Escale a Portofino is a new fragrance and it was introduced in 2008.

I like it too! Normally I prefer 'warmer' scents but this one really captivated me. Fresh (citrus all the way), spicy, unusual and classy! Find it a summer fragrance!

Without extravagance. Simply - summer, easy , characteristic for elegance Dior’s, citrus smell for elegant woman. Traditional and modern.

At the beginning it was intriguing and I didn't know why. Now I know...I must say I agree with Marianne - you don't consider it a women's fragrance because it simply smells almost the same as Dune for men (I know it because my dad uses it). Did Dior make a copy of his previous product? You decide..

I love this scent, and actually, find it very feminine.

My man says it's one of the sexiest perfumes he's smelled on me. So, maybe in a funny way the poster above is right. My man loves it -- me too.
