Opening of Shine blasted me with lemon notes. Strong, acid and fake lemon all over the place. It took a while to start recognizing sweet raspberry notes. Guess what? Also fake. Thought that tester went bad, so went to another perfume store and sprayed Shine. It repeated. Fake and plastic yellow - rose odor. Never ending lemon story. Unpleasant. Not strong and not long lasting thankfully.
Sparkling? Dazzling? Exciting? Not to me.

Definitely 'safe' - nice but not sure it shines.

I do like the cedar but had hoped the raspberry would sparkle with more tang.

The fruity (lemon) fades quickly, the trick to this fragrance is to layer several sprays over an hour. At the end of the hour you have a sensational aroma containing depth, interest, more dominant raspberry notes and longevity.

Got a sample, so happy I didn't spend the money. Too fruity, and citrus too strong! Loved the dry down.

It would be most suitable for autumn winter period...

This is a gorgeous fragrance, but too similar to Dior Addict 2 which I already have.

It's a "safe" fragrance, one you would wear to the office, or on an afternoon outing with friends. Not too young, but it makes you feel young and pretty.

It is very lemony !!! Fresh and light, a very good summer fragrance. Reminds me of Light Blue in at the opeing notes.

i smelled it two days ago and i brought that sample paper home and it lasts long today i tried on my wrist and even i washed dishes but it never gone untill i washed off my wrist i really like this perfume and for sure i'll buy its quiet floral and sweet wich we can wear for the whole day

Lovely scent. It's very fresh and sexy but not overpoweringly floral or musky. When it dries down reminds me of DIorAddict Act 2.

This is definitely Flirty simple & girly summer fragrance.Perfect for the girl who wants to shine ;)
It is really nice & fresh upon first spray.It smelled as if I was cutting lemons.There is nothing better then fresh citrus from a lemon or an orange that you are peeling or cutting .Until now, I have yet to smell a perfume that comes close to that.... & this does!!
It isn't overly citrusy though & that I am thankful for.It still manages to stay light & airy.
Although at first spray I got the wonderful lemon I could still smell hints of the light floral & fruit that lies underneath.
As it dries down more the raspberry & gardenia take over.The two smell wonderful together.I think this is one of the better perfumes I have tested in the past week.It is so heavenly & not overdone.

It doesn't seem to last too long though....Bummer =(

This is really strange smelling fragrance by itself. BUT if you mix it with J'adore it smells really good.

I too think the first note smells like lemon. I think its smells a bit soapy on me too, but I only received it today. So far I like Addict 2 better.

Nice fragrance, I really like it, but it doesn't awake any special emotions in me. I wear it often, casual and I don't get tired. I also like this scent on other people.

Update: I used a full bottle of Dior Addict Shine and now I can say - I LOVE it ! This fragrance became a real friend of mine: I know everything about it and yet I'm not getting bored. With every spritz we become even closer))

I bought this yesterday because it smells so much like the Frasier Fir home fragrance by Thymes. Like pine needles. Real pine needles, not the fakey Christmas candle scent.

Update...few days later...
the top note is pine.
after that it primarily smells soapy/powdery. sweet, feminine, but not as good as the pine note I bought it for.

OH MY GOD!I can swear that I smell lemon and it's the strongest note of this perfume!in fact at the first spray I get nothing but citruses.but it seems that I"m wrong.ok raspberry and gardenia are really good smelling in this one.

I love this one. Love it!! Extremely feminine and flirty. Shine needs to be applied from bottom to top quite generously if you want it to last the entire day. Just be careful not to overdo it around the neck area or it'll become cloying and irritate the heck out of you! As they say on the Dior website "Dazzling energy encapsulated in a fresh and sensual fruity-floral -- the essence of feminine chic and radiant charm". Ditto! This is one I will definitely be repurchasing.

For me,since I begin to wear perfume I love dior addict shine for the most.i remembered that i tried it at the first time i love it too much.Now I buy the second one.i think that i will wear it until it discontinue.i think i can wear it for every seasons.

it`s very fresh and floral but somehow i believe is no diferent from other perfumes from it`s category- like ferragamo shine or Versace bright cristal..sorry:(

I think this one is really good. It´s crisp and fresh and after three hours I can still sniff my arms and wrists with a big smile on my face.
I have got a 5 ml bottle but a big one will be on my list to santa soon.

I couldn't detect any single thing in common with original EDP Dior Addict.The last one in my oppinion, is deeper, softer and rich way many more times for Addict shine even to compare.
Addict Shine is quite strong, sweetly fresh smell. Though after an hour it is another story, but I suspect that this is not the scent becomes softer, but the scent starts to dissapear as such..slightly too sour freshness to my tastes, and I am not a fan of this kind of sweetness that accopannies sour notes, and I could swear at the begining there are plenty of citrusy notes in it

I have tried a miniature, at first it is fruity, with coconut smell, after 20 minutes it transformed into Dior Addict the original one(the blue bottle).
On my friend it was TOTALLY diffrent

I´m surprised because, I had always thought that this perfume contained lemon notes! It doesn´t last long on my skin and after a few minutes the fragance changes a lot!, It´s not one of my favorites....

i think it does last long, but on me its not too sweet, its fresh in the way like moschino i love love, or light blue.

I'm in two minds about this one: Firstly it doesn't last long at all and secondly, I can't find any base note. But it is a fruity, flirty and sweet scent that makes you feel happy.

I tried this on a sample strip from my Sephora catalogue yesterday. The advertising says "A luminous and dazzling fragrance. Sparkling. Feminine. Sensual" and it couldn't be closer to the truth. It is so beautiful, tender, light, but not cute - more sophisticated. It's more floral than fruity to my nose.
Notes: Cedrat, Gardenia, Raspberry, Cedar Woods.
I can smell the cedar most in the dry down and it is my favorite part.
I have never been able to like Dior Addict perfumes that much, but I think I found one I very much adore. I'm not sure that it's totally me, and I don't always trust sample paper strips, but I want it.
