i just bought this, as i was looking for a summer-spring fragrance. i've read in a lot of reviews that this scent lacks sofistication, and would be more apropiate for teenagers.
as i smelled it i didn't think of any teenager at all. i'd say it's appropiate for a young man, but not a teenager. don't base your opinion on a paper sample, try it on your skin; at first it smells rather common, but those are just the citruses on the opening notes. once you let it land, it will be like a flower blossoming; letting new peppery and musky smells arise.
not for winter, but i would recommend this fragrance to anyone looking for a nice spring scent. it's true, it doesn't scream out loud "i'm here", but it really smells great when close to the person wearing it, and is not one more of those cheap spring fragrances like hugo's or ralph lauren's crap.
A muted version of Allure Homme. I had this for a few months and found myself using it more than my other fragrances. It whispers but you're aware of it's presence. The quality shines even when the note composition is minimalistic.
A Dior fragrance? For me, if you close my eyes and give me this scent, I'd say it's Ralph Laurent, Lacoste or some other teeny stuff and not the monster launcher as Dior. This is so fresh and so cute to be Dior. Not a bro for Fahrenheit or even Higher itself.
When I smell Higher I imagine a guy after tennis exercise and about this one, I only did it for a guy after ping-pong! Not charming but a good proof that you had an exercise!
These don't mean that it's a cheap scent, yet so much better than most of fresh scents out there. But not for Dior.
Yet, the quality is admirable as it must be.
Very similar to Hugo Energise. Including the notes are very similar. Refreshing as an orange gum. The cost is higher than each of the Hugo Boss
It's hard not to love "Higher Energy"!
It is so bright, so cheerfull so sweet and uplifting!
A positive man with a bright smile that's the person this perfume is made for.
Easily loveable and optimistic! And simple and gorgeous!
All boys should try this perfume and if you can't afford it just go for its cheaper equivalent.
You know what's that, don't you?
"Of a man" from Body Shop, of course. :)
Higher Energy by Dior is a fragrance soft and sweet, gourmand notes in the opening as the melon and pineapple make it tasty, pepper and incense in the heart stronger, vetiver, musk and labdanum among others give a roundness syrupy.Ideal in spring and summer when the heat with his notes enhance.A my opinion looks like a Good Life by Davidoff, although the latter is more pungent. Reminded the outdoor parties with frozen drinks, smoothies fruit and ice cream, all on the edge of a huge swimming pool and fountains bright.
Dior never lets you ......
Very good to try.
Higher Energy is a light one. Definitely.
I had it as a gift, when I was 17. Good for that age, good for the summer.
But not nowadays. Wouldn't buy it again. Too light and non-masculine scent.
A Slightly softer version of the original with a lil less similarity to other fragrances.
My BF had many perfumes but this was just too sweet for a man. I love Aqua di Gio, Gucci II., ...but this one NOT
I didn't like this at first, but I came to quite like this - it has a peppery, musky, vanilla "waft" to it - but fresh too! But as people have commented - it's not very original. **UPDATE** I think it is similar to Allure by Chanel but this is more peppery
Its light and fresh... but a bit common smell. Anyway i like it: a good summer perfume for teenager boys.
easy to wear, not offensive, very casual, but very common. It's more of the same. I just got a miniature, look at it every day, and haven't felt like wearing it for a while... maybe it lacks originality!
thanks for the revie guys, i think im gonna have this one
I tried it as a small sampler, which I loved. But it seemed the longevity was not remarkable.
However, the scent would be a good choice, if you're looking for a cool one.
It's a lovely scent...
Update: Bleu De Chanel is very similar to this scent. While BDC is a very generic thing down to vulgar, DHE is spectacular.
it is similiar to versace eau fraiche.nice scent though
it's too light, doesn't last long. But for me it's a gift so I still love it , :))
I bought it, liked it and will keep it.
It is light, somewhat fresh, and is an excellent fragrance for the summer and casual wear.
Refreshes, uplifts you immediately. Very easy to wear, light but has a character.
Every Dior fragrance has some sort of refinement and originality even if other fragrances include many similar notes and this is no exception. Gets great compliments too.
A must sample if you look for a spring fragrance.
I like how this fragrance smells on me. Not fruity at all. It is light and fresh and powerful at the same time. The green notes in it make this a refreshing scent I will reach on a hot and sunny day. The scent didn't change when it mixed with sweat, which make this one good for wearing to the gym. A cold shower in a bottle!
OMG this fragrance drives me totally wild!! VERY VERY SEXY! my ex use to wear and on 1 occasion my jacket was nxt 2 him( not on him) and when i went bk home 2 sleep i just couldn't as my room smelled of him! HYPNOTISING FRAGRANCE ...!!! total lose control whe i smell it lol!
[***---] Sporty take on the bolder, crazier Dior Higher. Much less schizophrenic, but also less original. Citrus scent that remains citrusy throughout. Some vetiver/green notes at the end. Could last longer. Handsome design.
the fragance is good , but too light. It doesn´t last enough. Farenheit is too strong, Dune is very good, but Farenheit 32 is my favorite
