L'eau de Hesperides by Diptyque is a aromatic fragrance for women and men. L'eau de Hesperides is a new fragrance and it was introduced in 2008. The nose behind this fragrance is Olivier Pescheux. Top notes are bitter orange, mandarin orange, lemon, petit grain, caraway, grass and rosemary; middle notes are and floral notes; base notes are cedar and musk.

L'eau de hesperides could be a lighter version of Diptyque's Oyedo!According to me its a hommage to the classic Oyedo!Caraway is here too!lol!Very long lasting although it's an Eau!

What a stimulating smell!Citucy notes and cardamon fit perfectly!and then the herbs come to make the ''energy perfume''!Ideal for morning use,when you feel down,this one is like Vitamin C in a bottle!I''ll test its duration and i''ll be back with my second review!

First spray reminded me of Lush's "Big" shampoo. This time, on paper, I smelled Light Blue for women. There's the orange and lemon and something else. What is that? It is definately aromatic, smells outdoorsy, fresh. Nope, that orange. This is nice and worth and sample but it's not for me.

L’Eau des Hesperides opens with a burst of dry orange and as it dries down, herbs enter the scent. With notes of bitter orange, mandarin, lemon, petitgrain, red thyme, rosemary, mint, cedar and white musk. The scent is beautifully made, interesting, and lively, but I wished that the celery (salt) note was toned down significantly.
