Vetyverio Diptyque for women and men

Starts off with a very clean floral musk and vetiver with some light citrus. the vetiver here is very clean and never becomes too masculine but does stay in the fragrance all the way through, never becomes too soapy at all, like alot of the vetiver scents out there. to me the citrus is only in the top notes than mixes nicely with the whole scent never beomes too citrussy at all. i get a slight hint of rose in the backround and some other florals that are very light with hints of woody notes and peach skin lie in the background of the scent. This is not a traditional vetiver scent that smell very classic and old school, TBH this is quite the opposite very modern take here and also one of the easy to wear vetivers on the market.
Nothing like Guerlain vetiver or Tom ford Grey vetiver although i would say it's closer to grey vetiver. Instead of a very strong vetiver note here it's light and clean not dirty vetiver scent that you get in alot of the vetivers used typicaly by men.
Women should at least try this and men aswel. I find it very refreshing scent and very well made.
Its strange how this one doesn't have much of a following here but to me Its an excellent scent for those that didnt like tom ford's grey vetiver try this.
This is an EDT so dont expect it to last a whole day. Best for Spring/Summer, but can be worn year round. Sillage is excellent for the first two hours. Lasting power is an easy 6-8 hours than close to the skin but move around a little and people would definatly smell it on you. I use two sprays to the neck one on the chest and im done. One of the better diptyques imo.

To me this is more of a musk than anything else. The vetiver is there, but it’s not the most important part of the composition. Vetyverio starts out “perfumey”, musky, and a little citrusy. None of the flower notes that are listed in the description stand out recognizably, so presumably they have fused into the general mix. As soon as the sharp citrus in the opening dissipates, the scent becomes mainly a very fuzzy, slightly powdery, clean musk that tickles my nose. By fuzzy, I mean a note that is rough and prickly, like a wool sweater, a piece of Velcro, or the skin of a hairy peach. Generally, I don’t like “fuzzy” scents, so that quality ruins it for me and masks the vetiver.

There is a lot of sillage, making me think it would be very easy to overdo, especially if sprayed. Despite the fact that it starts out so strong, it is not exceptionally long lasting, about 4-6 hours tops. If you’re looking for vetiver, this just isn’t it. If you’re looking for a strong, greenish, fuzzy musk, it’s definitely worth a try.
