5th Avenue is a world-famous street; it is a symbol of wealth, imagination that has turned into reality. This is a fragrance for a woman who possesses a sense of style, a woman which is intelligent, successful, elegant, and easily walks between luxurious showcases, feeling good in her own skin. The top notes are lilac, linden blossom, dewy magnolia, mandarin and bergamot. The heart notes are Bulgarian pink violet, ylang-ylang, jasmine, Indian tuberose, peach, carnation and nutmeg. The base is composed of amber, Tibetan musk, sandalwood, iris and vanilla. The fragrance was created by Ann Gotlieb in 1996.
5th Avenue was launched in 1996. The nose behind this fragrance is Ann Gottlieb.

Very flowery!smells like an expensive powder and somehow makes me think of color gold.I think it is a dead ringer for Vera Wang - only cheaper and the dry down is a bit muskier.Nicely blends in with one`s skin scent!

Friend of mine gave it to me. He knows I like sweet perfumes and he thought this one is sweet. Strange, I don’t get any sweetness at all, for me it’s quite fresh, but chemical smell. I don’t understand it. This fragrance just another time approved, that I don’t get along with classical fragrances from classical designers like Elizabeth Arden.

i tested some times this fragrance, and always i had the same impression: this smell good! ... but its nothing special...

Very Nice! Chic and a very mature perfume. I got this with 3 other (mini) Arden perfumes in a set box: Green Tea, Beauty, & Red Door. Out of all, I would choose this one for more elegant outings. The scent lingers too so thats a plus....

i must agree with you all, this is an elegant perfume, i had tho choose between this one and the After 5 version, i must say i took tha after 5 for me and i will give this one to my mom:) i believe is more appropriate for her..it has something very mature in it..not yet for me..but it very nice..and it lasts sooo much on the skin

Nice, everyday, comfortable perfume. It is perfect to wear to work because it is so pleasant and unoffensive. It is easy to find 5th Avenue for a great price and I can honestly say it's a perfume that just about anyone would appreciate because it is gently pretty.

I wouldn't say is sweet but it's a nice fragrance. Not to overpowering, one you can wear for all occasions. It really lasts on my skin, not like other perfumes that fade in 1 hr.

It's floral and fruity, peach and lime with lilly and magnolia. Beautiful fragrance.

Nice high quality perfume but not my style. A little too serious for me. So I gave it to a friend. And in reply to Solocha, I had such a big bottle of it I did used it as room freshener once...don't tell my mom, lol.

For me it is a great every day scent.It gives a feeling of comfort and lifts up your spirit even after a long day of work.I love the way it makes you feel fresh and clean.It has a good lasting power but even though it is attracting it is not a sexy scent and definately something i wouldn't wear at night...

this is my fav perfume.i always make sure that i have a bottle of 5th avenue.i really like the smell.i have got lots of compliments from my collegues(specially guys)it is good to wear even at night too

it is true it does have something slightly metallic. i like it but i can't wear it every day as it is not my type of scent. iit is very subtle and it to my friends it seemed more suited as a room freshener.

It's so feminine, very rich floral, sweet (I mean flowery sweet), warm. I like it, it's romantic, elegant and very classy without being heavy or old-lady-like. I also find it suitable for most occasions and it has great staying power.
