Splendor (for women)

I don't remember how Splendor came to be in my possession - I don't remember buying it, maybe someone gave it to me? Anyway... I finally tried it today.

Splendor is quite a soapy fragrance. Not unpleasant, but not extremely memorable either. The rosewood gives it a nice little twist - but may also make it seem like a strong "standard perfume" scent.

The spray nozzle is one of those ones that spray a lot of perfume at once so if you don't want it to pool in one place sweep it across your arm.

Splendour will be a perfume that I wear once in a while, but not a favourite.

I really did not expect to enjoy Splendor. I love EA cosmetics, but I've never enjoyed her fragrance, which always smells to me like department store perfume (generic, a little old ladyish and generally uninspired.) This morning I came across a bottle that came with some cosmetic gift or bonus. It's been in a drawer for about eight months. I gave it a shot. I was surprised. It's light and nice, it wore a little tropical on me. I guess I got the pineapple. It was a nice bright fragrance for a gray day. It had decent longevity. What a nice unexpected find. I guess that's the point of the minis with the bonus. Eventually you'll try their fragrance.

What I like about this one is you can wear it day or evening. It's not to strong or overpowering and it lasts long.

An unusually complex perfume from E Arden, which thank god doesn't have tea in it. I like this one. It's playful, feminine and to the point - saying: I'm an optimistic woman.
It has that kind of sparkle.
One can wear this at any time, anywhere.
It never gets overpowering or too heavy.
