Pleasures Pop Estée Lauder for women Pictures

Estée Lauder launched a new limited edition collection of cosmetics for Summer 2013, which includes Pleasures Pop, a flanker of the original Pleasures fragrance from 1995. The new fragrance is described as a lively and colorful combination of flowers refreshed with fruity accords.

The composition begins with bold and sparkling notes of pink grapefruit, blackcurrant, litchi, raspberry and freesia. Its feminine heart encompasses flowers of lily, jasmine, pink peony and Wardia rose. The soft and sensual base includes benzoin, cedar, musk, vanilla and heliotrope.

The perfume comes in a transparent bottle of the iconic form, this time colored in fluorescent pink. It is available as 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

There's a sharp note at the opening, and the lily is overwhelming, I prefer pleasures intense. I don't get the sweet notes in this at all, just floral.

My immediate response to Pleasures Pop was, "caramel corn"! There is something buttery/brown sugary in the opening. Pop could be a fun, summery scent if this note lasted but it fades quickly and the obligatory vaguely citrus and peonies show up(is every new perfume required to have those notes?!). There is an undercurrent of fresh cut grass running through Pop that's refreshing and sets it apart from most new launches. But not enough to disguise the fact that Pleasures Pop is just another floral fruity, standard issue. Better than the original Pleasures but that's not saying much. Run of the mill.

I like it but it's nothing special on me it smells like a ton of other fruity florals out there. It is a pleasant spring/summer scent. I was never crazy for the original Pleasures so I wasn't suprised this flanker didn't "wow" me.

Overall all the Pleasure flankers have been real interesting, Pop is pretty, easy to wear, nice fruity floral, feminine, young but not overly sweet.
I detect fruits but the scent isn't overly fruity, mostly a soft floral, with hints of sweetness.
It is light, but fun and uplifting, I will happily wear it!!!

The perfect after the shower clean smell. It is soft from the beginning. I do not feel any particular aroma, but aldehydes, clean soft after the shower smell.

Modern Muse and now Pleasures Pop. What's next? Intuition Impressionism? Sensuous Surrealism? Beautiful Bronze Age?
