If this has any fruits, they are very short lived, maybe a few seconds... past the first minute, the scent changes into a wonderful and intoxicating flower scent; it doesn't have the coldness white flowers perfume give, on the contrary, it's warm and mellow, very spring like. I detect the most realistic orange tree flowers and freesia I've ever smelled in a scent. It's really serene and sunny. Both silage and longevity are good, above average.
This is a day perfume, as it lack capacity for night drama; regardless of when you wear it, it's surely lovely. I don't see anything particularly tropical in it; it's floral that manages to be elegant, and not to be boring, or soapy. Very well done!

It's funny because Bali dream claims to be floral but it's more fruity than anything. This one claims to be floral/fruity and it's more floral....anyway they're both good. I like Bali dream a bit better but this one is good too. You don't get much of the coconut, it's there but very faintly. Brasil is much stronger than Bali in my opinion. If it would up to me? I would switch both their names around.

A lovely, 'clear' fragrance, subtle and feminine with just a touch of citrus...lasting power is so-so...a little sweet and strong but also clean at the same time and not at all cloying (which I appreciate!)...the jasmine/gardenia notes in Brasil Dream are fresh and stand out the most to my nose, so to to me it's definitely more floral than it is fruity (which is again fine with me as I own enough fruity-floral scents).

A little disappointed that I couldn't detect the coconut in this though, if it's there it's very faint. Great as a daytime fragrance, but I imagine it would work well into the night too as it smells quite 'refined', perhaps even elegant compared to other tropical scents out there...so yes, this is elegant and demure rather than playful and cheeky, but it is still an 'exotic', 'vacation' scent. I imagine this would be a most fitting scent to wear for a romantic stroll by the beach at sunset with that special someone.

I have to admit I'm usually not a fan of tropical-type scents but I really do quite like this one and find it to be unique...another good tropical scent I like is Lancome's Tropiques (no, it does not smell similar to Brasil Dream, but it's pretty good too).
