Starlight Etienne Aigner for women

I like this smell. It's elegance, nice smell and warm.. Bit fruity and sweet.. For everyday use is good too, but in my opinion, it's more compatible with formal time.. ;) Overall, i give this perfume 4 stars from 5 stars.. :)

For me, it's close to DUNE CD, particularly some salty notes in the heart. But the opening is too sweet and fruity.
Sometimes this perfume reminds me of Le roy soleil by S. Dali, may be because of many similar notes in these fragrances: pineapple, bergamot, jasmine, sandalwood, patchouli, musk & vanilla - nine tenths!

Starlight takes off with a sweet and slightly sour, very juicy pinapple, that soon evolves into a warmer, a bit spicier scent. Still it's very sweet. The strawberrry in combination with the well balanced patchouli note creates a strawberry-chocolate smell as mentioned before. It's nice but a bit too edible for my taste, but I do understand why it's popular.

In defence to it's edible character I need to say that I don't think it's a scent for young girls. It is well balanced, a bit heavy and I think the cumin gives this fragrance a more grown up feeling. To my nose this is a wellcrafted fruitchouli, and not very similar to Angel which is a much more complex oriental vanilla. I only find it a bit embarassing that the Aigner house tried so hard to copy the idea behind Angel. Anyway, try for yourself and try before buy. Projection medium, longevity good.

This is a FAB perfume; very unique and arare. no way is this as cliched and commercial as CK Euphoria. I've been wearing this for a couple years now and LOVE it every time! It fits with every season, every mood, day and night, every occasion. I esp love to leayer it with Merry Cranberry body butter fromt he Body Shop. Initially, the gorgeous, gorgeous light lavender and silver and black colors of the box&bottle made me want to buy it....then when I smelt the fragrance, I was even more impressed. again, this is a very unique smell, so be sure to try before you buy!

I got this today! And LOVING it. It's similar to Angel, but MUCH better, more refined, and not that "in your face" like Angel.

I would rate this a very very sensual Oriental spicy (my favorite category for sure). Where Kingdom is 100% sweat to my nose, this is a very very soft interpretation of the sweaty caraway. It is a 100% sensual perfume for women that do not like to wear what everybody else is already wearing. So this is for the confident, intellectual but sensual women. LOVE IT!

oh i hate this perfume...opening smell like sour fruits..yucks!! i hate patchouli note in it...remind me of signature for her by DVD which i don't like also..not for me..gave this to my aunt.

this perfume makes me feel to be feminim and powerful lady too..its smell great!

I have a mini version of this. It's real small with only 4 ml inside, I only use it for short trips or hanging out. I always take it with me, coz it's so small I can put it in my pocket lol.

The scent. I was hoping a euphoric splash of vanilla, but the scent was very familiar. With a quick stop to think, I managed to realize that it smells like Angel!! I think they both have the same amount of patchouli, and with strawberry as the opening. It sure makes you drool, and crave for something sweet but I realized I wasted money for a mini Angel. It's a great night scent though, it makes you feel powerful (I guess) lol

Aw ha ha. Well, I was really skeptical about this one for a long time. Sniffing from bottle didn't impress me so now I though it was a time when I'd give it a try [yea, cause i'm running outta stuff to try -.-].
So, technically I'd name it a drop of 'Eau De Star' with some velvet of 'Innocent'. Very detectable here is strawberry, pineapple and patchouli. So was it inspired by TM creations? Only to guess. I would say, tho, that it's done well and pretty interesting :3 I like this. But be getting Too Feminine, cause that one cuter ;o

Have been looking to try this one for a long time...love the color, the name and the bottle.
The opening is very sweet and fruit filled. I pick up the pinapple note right away. The 1st time I wore it, I don't know what happened but all I got after that was cumin. It smelled identical to Kingdom, which was weird. Does caraway smell like cumin? I don't know...
Anyway, this time, I get a little jasmine and strawberry mix then vanilla musk.
It's very close to the skin though, no sillage to speak of at all after the 1st 2-3 minutes.
And sadly, it's gone completely after only a few hours.
I wish it lasted longer, it's actually a very lovely scent.

Update: For some reason, today the drydown is full of patchouli. Like it!

I love the smells, it's sweet and light, and also give warm sensation when it's worn :)

I'm not agree with the previous reviewers.this is a lovely fragrance.it starts with a little bit fresh,spicy and juicy scents.I was looking for circuses,I didn't find any,in place pineapple is very juicy at the first sniff.
as it remains on skin it becomes warmer.I can't describe it via the notes.they are not clear in the mixture of fragrance.but I'm trying to describe it,remember when you enter to a perfume shop,how does it smell?this fragrance smells like that,like a mixture of different types of fragrances.it's both sweet and sour.warm and fresh.I can't really name a fragrance that has the similar smelling,but it has so many features.if you consider the kind of sweet caramel smelling it's like Wish by Chopard.if you consider the warm fruity smelling it's a bit like Euphoria by CK.
as time passes it loses the fruitiness,but yet it's nice and warm.the total smelling is like strawberry mixed with caramel.
I"m fan of most of French and Italian perfume makers,but I never thought that I would fall in love with a fragrance from a German company!the bottle is very nice too and though the name indicates that it's suitable for night wear,I think it's also good for everyday use.

it remind me of flowerbomb, maybe because of the bottle, or maybe someone in Aigner want to create flowerbomb wanna be. And then I smell it, and for a moment, it did remind me of lighter version of flowerbomb. But then it passed, and I got a women version of Aigner |man|2

then I start to hate it.
