RELENT is not new.
I came across Etro's RELENT in November 2005 in the Boscolo Plaza Hotel in Nice (F).
The fragrance was offered as standard equipment in the hotels upper level bathrooms. Since then I look for a place to buy it. Now it seams to be the time. I hope it is still the same I liked so much these days ...

Although this is classified as a floral fragrance, to me the base notes were so prominant (especially the amber) that it wore like an Oriental. Whenever I wore it, I was remined of Shalimar! I ended up giving it away, since it was too "Oriental" for me. I loved the bottle though, with its swirl pattern pressed into the glass.
