This seems to be a softer version of Jovan's Ginseng NRG. Violet leaf isn't listed, but it comes out soon enough and begins to irritate (I can't stand this note). After that, I washed it off. However, if you like that violet leaf, fresh oriental thing, this might be one you'll really enjoy. I can't speak to longevity but projection/"sillage" seemed to be good (and not overpowering).

I owned a bottle of this sometime ago, and I think even though the packaging/bottle is not, the fragrance is very classy. It's a cologne to be worn on special occasions. Very warm and elegant.
