Iris looks lively with fruity strange bedfellows.
I love Esprit de Fleurs, but not Hermes Hiris.
Similarity is just a transition, I feel much of awareness in this perfume.
On the other hand Hermes Hiris has softness, someone might say "feminity", but almost ambiguity for me.

Yesterday I finally realised what this fragrance reminds me of. Well, it's Hermes Hiris! These two fragrances are very close relatives - both flowery, rich, fresh, green and even though there's no hiris note in Frapin's Esprit de Fleurs, some notes create hiris scent. A must try for hiris note lovers!

If you are searching for a niche fragrance that is both a sillage monster and a powerful floral, this would be your best choice.

I've had a cotton bud which was sprayed with this fragrance in my bag for over a month, and surprise, surprise, it still smells strongly and still manages to scent and deoderize my bag.

Well, Esprit de Fleurs is certainly an interesting scent. It's expensive smelling, rich, slightly soapy and very flowery, and although I love how this fragrance makes all the contents in my handbag smell exquisite, it's not what I usually like to wear on my actual skin.

If you've ever accidently sprayed a room fragrance on your skin thinking it was an ordinary perfume, you'll know what I'm talking about. You certainly smell lovely, however you can't help feeling a little like a burning scented candle in an inclosed space. That's how I felt when I wore Esprit de Fleurs.

I had this continuous urge to run to the nearest restroom and wash this stuff off, however I stuck with it because I was mesmorised by what it smelt like in the air around me. If it wasn't so expensive, I might have considered buying this fragrance for use as an air freshner.

If Esprit de Fleurs were a little softer and not so heavy with the rose, jasmine and vanilla notes, I can see this fragrance being quite a popular and wearable scent. Yet for now, it only smells like an expensive air freshner.

This is a true story:

I was about to go to bed last evening, and as usual I needed a bedtime perfume. Usually I go for something quitet, calming, soft and caressing when it´s time to sleep. I had earlier tried som perfumes from Frapin, but this one was still to be tried. I wasn´t that curious, a pretty mainstream floral I thought. Well, that may as well suit as a bedtime perfume. So I put two little drops on the middle of my underarm (the best place for sniffing and sleeping at the same time!) and didn´t expect much...

But oh and wow... This would have knocked med off my feet if I wasn´t allready in bed. A burst of joyful, spiritlifting and energetic sweet, jummy, zesty citrus! I wasn´t at all sleapy any more, I was sniffing my arm constantly for about two hours before I fell a sleep with a content smile on my lips.

This is such a darling perfume. Perfect for morning, summertime and oh so moodlifting. A quiet little dose of happiness in a bottle. After the sunny citrus start, there is jasmin and still with a citrus feel to it. This is a up tempo perfume, recommend it to everyone. If you´re skeptic to citrus florals you must try this, you can easily be a citrus floral lover after experienced this. Or at least an Esprit de Fleurs lover!

Must try! Really good! Don´t miss it!

My skin must not like this fragrance...as soon as I put it on, I am met with a huge blast of tangerine and very little else. Then it starts smelling like orange-scented soap.

It sounds so lovely, but I don't get any of those other notes listed! Just soap. What a disappointment, as I love 1270!

To me this is standing in a brightly sunlit hallway, light streaming in from all directions & shadows dancing on the freshly polished antique wood floor. You reach for your afternoon gin & tonic and step through the french doors onto the warm, sunny terrace. The intoxicating scent of jasmine greets you as you pad, bare-foot, to the herbs growing in terracotta pots around the secluded courtyard. As you walk, sipping from the refreshingly cold drink in your hand, the fragrance of the jasmine entwines with fresh basil - a faint breeze reminds you of the white roses blooming in the garden beyond. You pluck a berry from a nearby bush & wince slightly at the tart but delicious juice. Now you return to the hallway, leaving the doors open, the warm breezes rustling the white voile of the curtains, the smell of the polished wood returns.

An unusual choice for me, but I find I'm enjoying citrus notes far more, these days. For my own taste there is just too much of the jasmine - but this is purely personal. The only jasmine I can truly love is Bvlgari's Jasmine Noir. I would also have liked more vetiver in the dry down, but again this is personal - it's possibly my favourite base note. I couldn't really detect the vanilla, either.

Another distinguished fragrance from this excellent perfume house - so very French, very slightly aloof & certainly deserving a try from true green-floral lovers!
