I first smelt this and thought "great, i paid for soap!" I fell in love with it shortly after as i smelt in on my clothes. The lavender would be why it smells a bit soapy, but the musk and wood notes help keep it manly enough. Very original and it lasts and stays a soapy fresh. It's not the soapy nature that Prada boasts, its actually quite modern, young and easy to wear.
I dont think its strong enough for nights out, but they do say a good smelt wont be smelt alot by the wearer. Its great during the day.

The reviews on basenotes hit this one on the nose. "Bvlgari Blv Notte," however there is a difference. Notte has a tendancy to turn powdery. Indigo is a bit more calm in the opening, but doesn't go soft. The notes consistently hold their place. I go with Indigo. Give Fred Hayman his respect. This is the original Notte, as it was released before Bvlgari.
