Super soft and subtle. A classic eau with a twist. The mint is noticeable right from the top, along with a subdued grapefruit. Neroli is prominent along with the orange blossom, making for a green light floral mix. The aldehydes in the base are just enough to give this a very uniqe feel, but perhaps a tad screechy and synthetic. This is not something that I would wear often. It in some ways reminds me of Mugler's cologne, not the smell, but the soft clean neroli with a strange edge to it. I have no idea why they called it OUTRAGEOUS. The price maybe?
Hey Fragrantica this is a unisex fragrance, fix it!
I was in a citrus aromatic mood today, having worn Caron's Alpona morning and afternoon and switching to Outrageous in the evening.
Another fun, catchy scent from one of the world's highest selling noses (or is she THE highest selling nose???)
I want to say Outrageous opens fresh and vibrant, as if you walked out into a citrus garden and scratched at the rinds hanging from the tree. It is these things, but with a kick: cinnamon. I really like it here, as it's unexpected (usually this is tucked away in the base). It makes me think 'hmm.. I wonder what will happen next'.
As the scent develops I detect more of hte mint, which is a note I"m preferring more and more; it's keeps everything from getting too heavy.
This is a great scent to wear if you want to sit back and laugh with friends. It's just plain joyful. Another Malle that has caught my attention.
At first, I was taken back by the notes I smelt. Then once I let it dry down I began to smell the orange blossom. The amber and cedar are strong notes on me also. All in all, I am pleased with Outrageous.
why? why this perfume is not available elsewhere but USA? Why people do this thing with customers from other countries?
i love the dry down of this scent. so pure, gentle and clean, smells like an elegant young lady in paris... dunno why the creator of this scent called it outrageous, coz the scent is not loud and intense at all.
As the name says when i first spritzed that i was! I couldn't make sense but here i'm now with a big decant trying to make sense of it. Although it's not love i'm puzzled. Does this sell well and especially in a brand that has fabulous perfumes make in a modern but rather classic style. Still this one is such a tease. A nouvelle vague scent full of good wit and youthfull modernity. With the strange lime top, the sketchy but shinning orange blossom, and the cedar overwhelmed by an ambergriss-orris and cleaner steam combo from 2090 makes one intriguing experience that although it doesn't make me add to cart, at least makes me think.
