Pink Grapefuit.
Pink Grapefuit.
Pink Grapefuit.
A fun, quick spritz for a sweltering hot afternoon!
I worked for the Gap years ago. My store manager loved So Pink and our store always smelled of it. One might think from the name that So Pink is sugary sweet. It's really not. It's intensely citric with some floral notes. No real development, just gets less alcohol smelling after it dries down.
Been wearing this for years, I love everything about this. Smells great on my skin, wish it lasted a bit longer there. Stays on clothes for a good amount of time though.
Smells strongly of grapefruit, to the point where the scent is a little sour. Refreshing, yes. Non-offensive, yes. It is clean and fresh, but like one of the previous comments, maybe it shouldn't have been named So Pink since it is a very strong citrus.
Neutral scent, but nothing special.
I got this as a present and I really like it. Citrusy, wait I know, it screams grapefruit!
Very Citrusy, very powerful. It's not So Pink, more green or yellow.
Like many others have mentioned - it's a refreshing spray for a sweltering afternoon. I tried this on during a rainy spring day and enjoyed it so much that I went back to buy a bottle. It's replaced my (sadly discontinued) Miso Pretty body spray for those days when wearing perfume is just not possible. It smells wet, citrusy, slightly sweet and floral, but this is mostly a grapefruit scent. Not as lovely as Gap Dream, but it is the epitome of fresh. I've layered it with D&G Light Blue with an interesting and pleasant result.
For the price, it's decent. I bought the EDT but lasting power is honestly not any better (in my experience) than the lasting power of the body spray - so save a few bucks and grab that instead, if you're interested in this.
smells fresh, light and clean. i like it. very nice to wear on a hot day.
More floral to me after a little while. I really wanted to like this, but it smells like the price..cheap.
There is way too much citrus in this perfume, makes it overwhelming. Not a huge fan.
As a teenager, I loved So Pink and managed to work my way through two tall perfume bottles as well as a few body sprays. I moved on from So Pink once I hit my late teens, and recently found a new bottle stashed away under my vanity. I remember So Pink being a bright and simple grapefruit scent which was sparkling and uplifting. Upon trying it again today, I found the same grapefruit, but this time it seemed much sweeter than it used to be, and heavily tempered with sweet pea. The sweet pea in this bottle of So Pink serves as a sort of cloyingly sweet midtone, on top of which the grapefruit and citrus play and sparkle. The two notes never completely mesh, so I end up imagining the sweet pea as this villainous, serious note trying to masquerade as vibrant under the dancing citrus notes. To my nose, it ends up making the sweet pea stand out even more rather than hiding it, and makes me unable to enjoy the scent any longer as it is meant to be enjoyed.
Light, clean, and not overly ambitious. This scent is a beautiful grapefruit in a bottle.
It gives me energy on the warm Louisiana days, and the citrus is a great energy lifter.
In the league with D&G Light Blue in terms of great citrus scents.
love it, fresh, simple, doesnt feel too young
That's what's nice about So Pink - not like all of the other overpowering fragrances of today.
Dear Fragrance Addict,
The Story: I had never shopped at GAP before(rather I hardly shop at all)... Of course this changed when my step-grandparents bought me a GAP gift card for Christmas. I felt fairly content with my wardrobe and had little interest in buying more clothes, so I went to GAP Body instead. I was so shocked by how small their collection was that I almost walked out. However, my step-mother insisted that I look around. I started trying on the different fragrances. Most of them either smelt awful, too light, or too generic. I held off trying So Pink till the end (it looked cheap/overrated).
The Conclusion/Review: By golly was I surprised~! It smelt very fresh and fruity. A lot like grapefruit with hints of flowers and maybe even lemonade. I loved the scent so much that I bought a 3.4 oz bottle of it =]. On a more critical note, the fragrance does not last long at all (maybe 2-4 hours max)! Luckily, the fragrance is very cheap ($24 for the 3.4 oz), so money is not much of an issue... This is a very "young/immature" scent (good for teens) so I would not recommend to anyone who is older than 25. But that's just me :( Also, I don't consider this a scent that is intimate, seductive, professional, Wintery, Autumny or good for special occasions (it smells like grapefruit for crying out loud!). It does make a very good everyday perfume during Spring and Summer though~!
Overall, I give this fragrance 4/5. I love this scent, but I wish that it were a bit more versatile and longer lasting. Still, it's well worth the price tag and me likey ;P
Sincerely,
Bluuki-Chan
Was looking for something light, fresh, and pretty for after gym class... I wanted something simple, not too complex. This was a good choice. Lots of citrus with fresh floral undertones, not at all sweet. Very natural.
It's very citrusy, but it does not last very long!
It smells like a pink grapefriut. It very flirty and perfect for spring and summer. I recommend it to very young ladies.
the bottle give you a feeling of ice and fresh
