My favourite of the ghost fragances. On my skin it smells like turkish delight at first then dries down to a very warm musky vanilla. the lasting power is really good also, I LOVE IT! :)

on my skin its a great, sweet amber-vanilla scent. i do not get any floral notes, however, this mix is just yummy and comforting. i think the bottle looks cool with its milky glass and its shape. definitely worth re-buying. unfortunately i have to order it via internet as it is not available in my country. but on the other side this is a plus as it is not so common in my country ;)

This perfume is extremely yummy - smells like marshmallows on my skin - cream and vanilla like a great ice cream! There is also a warmth to it after drydown which is lingering and comfortable like a cashmere blanket. I don't get a lot of rose on my skin just a warm, sweet softness. Very feminine and very delicious!

very rosy, very femminine but not that old lady style. bought a miniatiure after reading reviews here that it's similar to rochas lumiere 2000. well it really has similarities..it's nice but not love at first sniff

I do absolutely love this one :) Smells just like Un Monde Nouveau White Fluid that I used to wear as a teenager. Innocent, alluring, misty vanilla sugar powder in a frozen weather with love.

Im a fool! I thought there would be an EDP but seems there isnt? The lasting power of the EDT is actually prooving slightly better than i 1st thought. It certainly fades considerably after a couple hrs, as i suppose do most fragrances, but im still gently enveloped with this heavenly scent for much longer than i'd realised - im noticeing whiffs of this gorgeous aroma around me many hrs after i 1st applied, but in a subtle all-encompassing way - when i sniff my wrist directly it seems to have almost disappeared. Strange - but it must still be there as i get a heavenly waft every now again.

I adore Ghost. Im so surprised, as i often prefer heavier gourmade or oriental scents, but this fragrance is so enchanting.
To me the delicately encapsulating fragrance of Ghost evokes images of a beautiful naked woman draped in an airy white silk gown, floating through an enchanted forest filled with fluttering fairies, unicorns and rare blooming flowers.
Its an ethereal, light, floaty scent, but with something at its core that makes it more special - mystical almost.
I would describe this as a light fruity-floral scent. I definitely detect some watery, light, fruity notes along with the flowers.. and a sweetness that still somehow manages to feel soft & fresh.
I love to wear this scent after my bath - I feel so pure, floaty, feminine and almost.. magical! It gently envelops me like a swirl of silk & transports me to my enchanted forest every time i wear it.
The only negative i can give is that the lasting power of the EDT is not brilliant. Not bad, but not as long-lasting as id like. Im hoping the EDP will have more lasting power.. then i will have my perfect scent for when i want to feel like the virgin goddess of the mystical forest. =)

Was it discontinued? I've been seeking him and I've not found this fragrance! I really love it a lot! Exotic, uncommon, powerfull and awesome.

Ethereal, soft and somehow exciting, it makes me feel tingly, like I am anticipating something wonderful. Slips around you and envelopes you like a floaty vanilla-rose dress, with just the faintest sweetness of peaches. The fruity note bows out in favor of the soft floral, but it merely steps out of the spotlight, never surrendering the stage completely. delicious.

When I was younger I liked it much but when I recently bought it I found it too "sweet and sticky". It's ok for young girls. For me I couldn't bear the sweetness in the drydown.

A soft, sweet, powdery fragrance, perfect for spring/summer. Sillage is great, and longevity is amazing, I sprayed this last night and I could still smell it on myself 9 hours later! My daughter's favourite too.

This is predominantly rose and vanilla on me, and is a lovely light and sensual perfume. There's something about this scent that reminds me of Laura Biagiotti's Venezia, which I adore.

I love this scent, it's very 'short' like scone pastry, it's dry, powdery, clean smelling, and sticks in the back of your throat, all of which sound like bad things, but it's punchiness, and dryness make it addictive.

Love it! Definitely smells like Turkish Delight, Very powdery. Four of the notes stand out and they are Rose, Peach, Vanilla and Musk. It does capture a very surreal feeling almost haunting, but in a mysterious and pleasant way!

I bought a this a few times so obviously liked it!!! To me it smells like Tizer with a blob of vanilla ice cream in it and reminds me of being a kid. Brings back happpy memories of my husband as I wore it all the time when we first met.

Ok, i don't like it. It opens with burst of vodka (and I did only dab about 0,2 ml on my wrist) and then the sparkling fruits hit in. I keep on thinking that I have tried this before and seen this before somewhere. It's almost like any other floral fruity wonder.
At the heart it gets more and more powdery and starts to smell like flour and nuts. Together with the sparkling flowers it just makes a fuss I can not enjoy. The heart reminds me of Ted Lapidus - Silk way.

Ok, I might be mean now, but - what the hell? Based on the notes I should be smelling something else, all I get is baking powder with sour, rotten fruits. And the price for this one? Are you kidding me? There are gazzilion other perfumes that smell almost the same like this one and you don't have to pay almost 40$ for 30 ml.

So ethereal and gorgeous... imbues me with a sense of excitement. I feel mysterious and elusive when I wear this, even though the notes themselves are not terribly complex. Airy and soft.

Based on the notes alone, except rose and jasmine really, I should love this, but unfortunately each time I spray it Im disappointed. Its like a cloying powdery jammy rose, or turkish delight. Its very powdery, rather than a sweet vanilla or the sandalwood and musk I just smell a strongly rose scented powder and Im thinking grandma. This is not the worst perfume Ive had but it doesn't give me any good feelings so Im swapping my bottle away now.

Sorry everyone who loves this fragrance... I hardly ever feel so strongly about a perfume, but I really hate this one! Dull, dull, dull.

This one is pretty nice similar though to Amor Amor has the smell of apricot jam... I find it a bit annoying...

I really like the opening/top & middle of this - it's easy to detect the notes, especially the peach, vanilla and rose. It's fresh, light and sweet, not cloying. Seemed absolutely perfect, but the base is too much for me - it smells a lot like chocolate, quite strong and very sweet.
I think it's a combination of the vanilla and sandalwood.

A beautifully delicate fragrance. It is light and understated. I didnt pick up every note, mainly the rose and peach, vanilla and musk. Best worn during the day. It lasts awhile although i wish it came as an eau de parfum!

The story i picture when smelling this fragrance is the girl next door, the boy falls in love with. She is uncomplicated, a good friend and a free spirit. Beautifull when wearing any old jeans and a t-shirt and her hair worn naturally. Everyone likes her, she is easy going and friendly.

This perfume against my skin is nothing short of a delectable love affair. It's just so very beautiful. Two of my favorite notes are rose and jasmine and they're are played to the hilt in this fragrance. I don't detect a lot of fruit, but the warm undertones of sparkling peaches is definitely there. Ghost is categorized as a floral fruity, but to me it smells more floral woodsy as opposed to floral fruity. Every time I smell it, I get floral and I get sweet, sort of like a sugar flower. It's like floral woodsy sweet, but bitter-sweet via the peaches. I love Ghost and I think it's a great fragrance to wear in the daytime and the nighttime. Guys love this woodsy musky smell. It was voted at the top of the list among favorite female perfumes. Ladies, you can't go wrong with it. Sillage is off the charts!

I am still undecided about this perfume. Everytime I spray it or sniff it, it just smells like nailpolish remover to me! Maybe I need to leave it on for longer instead of running to the sink!

I went a whole day without washing this off. It lasted the entire day so staying power is good, but it still smells like rose scented nailpolish remover. Shame.

The name for this fragrance is perfect. It really is a ghost of a perfume, just a whisper of roses and something else I couldn't quite put my finger on. It left me guessing for a while, which I felt added to the mystery of this perfume's character. Vanilla is listed here as being one of the middle notes, but it wasn't as sweet as the vanilla I'm used to smelling. It was lighter, and more airy. The whole perfume was bordering on the ethereal for me, and it also radiated a tranquility about it which I wasn't expecting but nevertheless found pleasant. It seems gentle enough for everyday wear, but there's a touch of the romantic in it to be able to wear it on a date.

The fragrance name very much reflects the bottle content :-)
It is mysterious and soft.
It feels like rose, vanilla and peach notes are the most distinctive.
It is a universal perfume; great at night and on the cold morning as well as on a hot sunny day. It smells really divine, it is a ''tasty'' fragrance well worth attention.
It is a shame it does not come up as an Eau De Parfum, as the silage is really subtle and the lasting power is average.
To me - it is one of those I love to use as a mist after a shower.
When I close my eyes I see a bowl filled in generously with peaches, a little vase of pink sweet roses and vanilla cookies that have just been put into the oven...
The fragrance advert is brilliant, it says it all...
I recommend it to rose and vanilla lovers, you will not be disappointed.
There is nothing heavy about it. There is just that subtle rose, peach and vanilla hint gently lingering for approx. 4 hours...

Tried this whilst on Holiday in London and its a scent like no other. Very mysterious and sensual. It will have people asking you what your wearing as its so unusual and alluring.

I used to work with a woman who’d smell like Turkish delight. So me being me, I had to get some of this myself.

Although it does indeed smell of Turkish delight the fragrance isn’t gourmand. This sweet smell is due to the wonderful rose top notes. The middle phase seems slightly spicy to me. The best phase, however, is the vanilla and apricot in the dry down.

I adore GHOST; It's by far my favourite perfume. I've used several bottles now and still am not bored by it.
If I could only wear one perfume for the rest of my life I would choose this.



GHOST is a heady fragrance, so the lasting power is wonderful. Just remember to use it sparingly.

I think this is gorgeous. It's elegant, mysterious, pretty and delicate. It smells like baby blue roses ought to smell! It's very unique...

I like this smell because I like the smell of turkish delight etc but this doesn't smell right on people as a perfume. IMHO. :)

Smells just like Irn Bru to me. Weird.

This is an absolutley beautiful fragrance!! I just love it! Its different... not like anyhing eles ive had before.

This perfume was such a surprise to me- like many others, I had confused it with the Coty Ghost line. How wrong I was! This is a complex and surprising perfume-a real sleeper. The initial burst of fresh rose and ambrette spiciness is refreshing and pleasant. [I sprayed Lolita Lempicka original EdT simultaneously to see how the two compare in their common, generous use of ambrette-at one point 10 minutes in, the two were nearly identical on the skin. Of course, the LL is much more piercing in its sweetness and its spice, but Ghost really approximates this just as the heart notes are coming in.] I like very much how traditional "Base" notes such as Sandalwood & Incense are included in the heart, and emerge early on, giving one the impression that the fragrance has closed the curtain, but, ...an encore! An hour in, a delicious and full vanilla-inspired base appears. Musk plays a minor role, and the apricot and vanilla combine beautifully to create an aroma eerily similar to the top notes of Amour by Kenzo- as a matter of fact, my daughter thought the Ghost drydown was Amour. 8 hours later, those 2 sprays of Ghost are still with me. This is a unique perfume in that it manages to possess superb longevity but to maintain a discreet sillage throughout.

My all time Fav. perfume. I wear this 9 out of 10 days in the summer. But I can no longer find it anywhere. Please help me if you know where I can get it let me know, don't want to lose my signature sent. BTW great job describing it Michii. Can anyone suggest anything similar?

This is sweet without being overpoweringly so
and it does not smell like vanilla to me just has the sweet creaminess from the vanilla.
It is light with fruitiness while still being slightly spicy.
It is cool that it is the original Ghost because it does have a very mystical and magical feel to it.

My boyfriend (at the time) bought me this perfume for my birthday. I wore it all the time back then and he LOVED it! I still wear it sometimes (now nearly a year later) and he always tells me how I smell extra lovely that day.

This is an non-typical,long-lasting fruity floral. It reminds me more of a spicy gourmand. I found the rose, amber and sweet, succulant peach notes to be prominent. It reminds me a bit of Stella, which I tried previous to this one. I suppose it's the combination of the dusky English rose and amber that I associate with Stella. There is no cool, fresh citrus in Ghost, so I think this is why it 'feels' slightly heavy. This type of fragrance would probably be better to use to warm up on a cold day. It's kind of like a hot toddy. I don't think it's an everyday fragrance, but it's nice when your in the right mood for it.

Ghost The Fragrance is my all time favourite perfume, I just absolutely adore it. I imagine a bed of white roses and jasmin below a tall peach tree, the evening sky a twilight blue and a soft breeze bringing cascades of leaves and petals down to the ground..it is a very beautiful, sensual fragrance, sweet floral notes laced with spicy amber and soft vanilla finishing with a delicate peachy musk. Ghost is a very calming scent with amazing staying power..the beautiful fragrance carries on breezes and wraps itself around me all day long, making "Ghost" the perfect name for this fragrance as it is both constantly present and very memorable.

I personally feel that this fragrance smells far from fruity-floral..more oriental floral/vanilla with hints of spice..

This is calm and sweet. The rose is the first note I detected. Then I got musk and sandalwood. Its very romantic and kind of reminds me of being embraced by my love with the wind gently breezing over us. Perfect for all occasions and seasons.

Soft sweet rose, without powder or spice on me. A touch of woods and vanilla. It doesn't get very fruity at all on my skin either. It's elegant, serene, and lovely.

It never smells strong to me and is completely gone within 2 hrs. I have had 2 female friends ask me where to get it (I was reluctant to share my secret- I associate smells with people and this is "mine" in my circle), and been complimented by men on how great I smell while wearing it.

I will say I much prefer it in cooler weather than hot (living in Seattle, I wear it nearly year-round :p).

peach, peach and more peach for starters ! Dries down to a rather bland vanilla-rose, with a little bit of nutmeggy-bitterness, but still fruity although it smells a bit artificial, like cheap air freshener. Though maybe it's my skin chemistry, I have come to the conclusion that sweet fruity scents just don't work for me, if I am feeling fruity I am better off with something sharper, drier and more citrus.

My boyfriend loves this one, it has been his favourite on me for a few years anyway. He says he likes it because it is not too heavy, sweet or sickening. Apparently its a bit flirty without being obvious and its fresh enough not to get dull.

I really like this one too, even though it is not a current "favourite" as such- I think due to its versatility (and sentimentality for us) its one that I would always make sure I owned.

I understand that this one isn't for everyone though, as Happybunny wrote it is very feminine, in the floaty-girl sense.

This is a soft, airy scent like flowers in the rain. Nice fragrance!

I love this perfume! First used it on a holiday about 5 years ago so it brings back happy memories. Very feminine, not too heavy to wear in daytime.
