Another romantic Moon from the house of Ghost. This time Luna comes in pink tones as a limited edition for 2005 in a floral – fruity composition. The perfume awakens with seductive notes of pineapple, apple, sweet pea, white peach and plum. The heart is floral with freesia and sweet, clear and intensive jasmine, while the base caresses with notes of Indian sandalwood, musk and amber.

Oh, how i wanted to love this scent! It smelled so nice but had a bad chemistry on my skin, so I gave it to my friend who loved it. The same happened with Ghost Summer Dream (which i ordered on the internet, so it was a blind buy) and I ended up giving it to another friend. I guess, it was the bottle that mesmerized me...

Upon application, Sheer Summer is powerfully tangy, almost sour but sweet at the same time. Its heart is similar to the opening notes, only somewhat sweeter and more floral and having staying power I keep enjoying the remainder of its top notes four hours later.
A nice and balanced blend, the heart notes do not play the game on their own, tarty and fresh top notes mingle with the emerging sheerness of musk and gives the fragrance even more staying power. The dry down is a musky base, that's warm and glows with a certain dried spiciness (sandalwood?), it's very similar indeed to the musky udertones of Benghal or Ghost Deep Night which both have a peach - sandalwood combo too.
To sum up, fresh, tart fruits with a touch of exotic spiciness. Sheer Summer is an ideal summer fragrance that is unlike many, has its very own mind throughout.

It's a more "summer" version of the original Ghost. Fresh, fun, feminine and rather innoffensive. It's fruity on my skin but not sickeningly so. The longevity is not so great though.
