G perfume was launched in 1999. It brought floral and fruity accords, designed by Alain Astori. The top notes consist of melon, pineapple and strongly bitter grape. Middle notes are floral, thanks to orchid and peony, slightly touched by peach and ginger. The base brings the warm notes of sandalwood and vetiver. This perfume is available as 30, 50 and 100 ml EDP.

I used to looooove this one when I was a teenager. As far as I can remember it even was my first properly bought fragrance. I felt very grown up and sophisticated wearing this and even managed to use up the whole bottle, which rarely happens to be because usually I get bored with fragrances at some point and give them to my mother.
I am actually considering to give it another try.
Some of the previous reviews are quite interesting, some very strange associations going on! I do understand the points about it being like air freshener, it does have a 'functional fragrance' air about it.
It starts off a bit harsh with a very sharp ginger and pineapple for the top notes. I used to like the Chinese dish chicken with pineapple and ginger, so it has a nicer association for me than loo freshener or halitosis! I can smell underlying soft floral notes and the woodsy base. I think it is a pleasant summer type fragrance for those who like the nip of ginger in a scent.
I like it, though not enough to buy it after my little sample is used up.
This severe stuff was my love at first sight, which after I bought I knew I had made a terrible mistake.
GBH smells wonderfully like jasmine(?) on my skin at the first few seconds, but then it turns into something nothing like perfume at all, it was like a toilet freshener. There really was something stale, bad breath-y, rotten(?) and toilet-y, if you can call that a word, in it. And my worst nightmare is that I'm sitting in a train minding my own business, and this fat old lady marches bathed in this stuff. The scene really kills me and then I wake up and realise I'm dreaming...
I do not like toilet fresheners, bad breath, rotten, stale things which also give me sickening nightmares, and the best one for this would be Giorgio Beverly Hills. The first chance I get, that thing's going into trash (which might even smell cleaner than this toilet freshener).
I found this in my mums bathroom and I don't think she's ever worn it more than a few times. Not sure if it's gone off or I sprayed the stale bit out of the cap onto my hand (this seems to happen when a fragrance isn't used for a while/first use)but it was a scrubber - synthetic, sour, harsh and smelling of nothing in particular. I will go back and test again next time I bring the kids to see my parents!!
Actually nothing special but a nice fragrance to wear, a little sweet-sour, but not too much. Lasting power isn't great but it's good. I prefer "So You", it's more energetic, "G" is a calm fragrance.
I smelled this perfume on one of my collegues, and it reminded me of wet monsoons and blacker than black nights, So I got it for my self, but Alas!!! did not work for me :(
I so wanted to wear this one!!!
I bought a big bottle of this very cheaply and this seems a very good middle of the road fragrance. One of the nicer fruity florals and just a little spray seems to have gone a long way, and lasting well.
This perfume to me smells middle of the road between the original Giorgio and the Giorgio Red. It can be worn anytime because it is very delicate but classy at the same time. It is a little sweet like Giorgio without the really strong smell and a little warm like Giorgio Red but again not as strong. If you like the Giorgio and Giorgio Red then I recommend this one for a light in between perfume. It will not offend anyone like Giorgio does but still classy for someone who only likes the old style perfumes how they used to smell not like all the popular watery perfumes of todays generation. I am familiar with most of the old power house perfumes like shalimar, samsara, paris, first, red door, pacco rabanne palermo picasso etc. This one by Giorgio is just lovely. Spray a fair bit because it can be faint if not sprayed enough.
i saw this the other day in a pettol station toiliet being used as an air freshener i thought it was funny LOL
This fragrance is gorgeous it is a exotic scent which as a soft floral top note to it I have had 4 bottles myself for which I have had many compliments great staying power lasts all day I find it to be the nectar of the gods
Ia had it once. It is a good summer fragrance, very casual. I liked it, smells like violet.

It does smell like violets and it very lady like. It is milder than Giorgio and Red. Of course, it was created much later. I have both the EDP and the lotion. It is a good summer fragrance.
This perfume is okay not one for a night out but to the shops its good not the best but not the worst... maybe 4/10
i loved to wear G in high school until my highschool sweetheart told me that it reminds him of masculin perfume... however,i think that G is a fresh light floral perfume that despite its low price has a personality!ideal for spring for walks to the shops during daytime or for weekend getaways to the country! :-)
so so lovely and womanly echtwaar de top 10

I got this gift set at perfumania for 20 dollars. It is okay. It smells fruity to me but this perfume fades so quick and I do mean quick! It is a waste of money!
I absolutely LOVE this perfume ! It's the only one that suits me and that blends well with my natural scent. It also compliments my personality as well and i recommend it to all women who likes an elegant perfume.
