Givenchy Harvest 2007 Very Irresistible Damascena Rose is a perfume presented in the Harvest 2007 trilogy. It is dedicated to the Damask rose, around which the whole composition evolves. Top notes bring aromas of Damask rose from the Dades valley in Morocco. Original floral composition of the Very Irresistible Givenchy perfume inhabits the heart of this one (rose, magnolia and peony, surrounded by damask rose and rose tea). The base notes include leather accords and patchouli, which create the stronger texture and intensiveness for this fragrance. It is available as 60 ml edp.

I tried it yesterday. The rose is just magnificent here and I am not easy to be impressed by it. It is exactly the type of rose I like: a sweet and happy one. To be understood I would say that Angel Rose is full of joy and optimistic energy for me, Paul Smith Rose is a sad one (but more authentic).

The Damascena Rose here is a true charmer but still a classic of the genre. The scent radiates youthful zest and lofty aspiration. It personifies a triumph of beauty and sheer delight. A hedonistic girly scent.

I recived some samples this week...among them this one!So here I am reviweing it!!
It's a very simplistic fragrance, but complicated in its simplicity!!Strange, you think...Let me explain!
It says rose damascena and that's what you get, a rose scent.But here's the catch: it's not just that..it's has many more facets...you get a spicy peppery rose...an infusion of a more rich deep burgundy rose scent...and a subtile nuance of a leather acord...but somehow all in a non clouding singular scent!It's not for day time, in my opinion...it has a intense allure that is better suited for nighttime...a dark twist to the original Very Irresistible.

I find myself strangely atracted to this mysterious, head-spining rose scent!!
