We announce new Givenchy Harvest 2008 with pleasure. It will arrive on the market in March 2009 and it includes luxurious editions we are used to seeing in previous years. The fragrances of this collection are the best variations of the most famous fragrances composed of the highest quality harvests of flowers from various parts of the world. Harvest 2008 brings us flowers from sunny Morocco, India, Turkey and aromas of Madagascar.

These limited editions are composed of highest quality flowers the essences of which decorate each of the fragrances. Another Givenchy edition is added this year. Trio of Amarige, Organza and Very Irresistible has been presented from 2005 in luxurious packages with richer, high quality composition, whereas an enriched version of Ange ou Demon joins the Harvest in 2009.

The third perfume takes us for an exotic journey to Isparta, which is situated in Turkey, where roses are picked for perfume Harvest 2008: Very Irresistible Rose Damascena 2008. Top notes of the edition dedicated to queen, rose, are anise and rose Damascena, adding heart accords: Centifolia rose and peony-rose. Base notes make a finish with Passion rose and Fantasia rose, along with patchouli. The fragrance is available as a limited edition of 60 ml.

The centrifolia edition is way too sweet for me but this one is softened and more wearable- the anise must counteract it- it's very pretty and girly.

Lovely fresh rosey fragrance, it smells very different from other Very Irresistible, less mellow and more crispy, slightly reminiscent of Paris, but alas too much patchouli and anise make it smell like any Guerlain aqua allegoria. After a while, pushing through the anise barrier, a beautiful bulgarian rose comes up and out with a typical rose essential oil smell. Nice! It's a feminine and elegant scent.
