New collection Harvest 2009 by Givenchy was presented to the market in February 2010. Amarige incorporates mimose essences, Organza celebrates Sambac jasmine, Very Irresistible pust Damascena rose in the first plan, while Ange ou Demon blooms with intoxicating aromas of orange blossom which enriches the characteristic compositions. All four flacons have the same shape as in previous years and hide the best harvest collected in 2009, which makes them unique.

Very Irresistible Rose Centifolia is a new limited edition, available as 60 ml EDP. Top notes incorporate star anise and damascena rose, a heart is enriched with centifolia rose and peony rose, with a trail of passion rose, fantasia rose and patchouli.

This is a powerful yet sweet rose (may be too sweet for some) which is almost girly but quite beautiful. The anise and patchouli are undetectable on my skin; the peony gives it a slight powdery quality. A lovely soliflore for those who want their rose straight up!

Very similar to the original VI, only with better sillage and approximately the same lasting power. I cannot smell any baby powder, just a lot of rose, a fresh, dewy one, not at all the heavy, cloying smell most of us associate with rose scents. I wouldn't say this is an elegant fragrance, none of the VIs are, imo. It's a light, rosey, casual fragrance for careless spring days. A bit overpriced for what it offers.

A very lovely, sweet, happy, baby powder rose. Different from Damascena. My preference is the Centifolia but I can't pinpoint exactly why... I love smelling it in the perfume store on my way from from work, but i don't think I could wear it - too sweet and intense. It's rather more suited for sniffing oocasionally and going mmmmm, like smelling roses in a rose graden on a hot summer day...
