One of my favorites for men. Attractive, elegant, simply masculine, sensual, bright... i like it so much :) To a singular, good-humored and confident man (in my opinion)

Wonderful! It starts with Peppery Spices and Orange, enhanced with Cardamom. The Citrus does not play a key role in the opening, it is a supporting note only.

When the heart starts to emerge within 5 minutes, a Jasmine and Carnation floral accord join in with Sandalwood and Nutmeg. In the background of the heart is a sharp, but not too sharp, Anise note. The Anise meets with the Amber in the base, adding to the sharp but sweet-ish note. This sweet-tart accord is strong but mostly stays in the background and mixes well in the spicy floral.

The dry down has a slowly mellowing Anise-Amber accord joined with Patchouli, Vanilla, and Incense. The Tobacco note in the base is very well mixed in, and just barely noticeable to me.

The real beauty of this one, to me, is the way the sillage comes across. Sniffing it directly is nice, but catching a whiff of the dry down, as others smell it, is a real charm of Gucci Envy for Men. It's smooth and warm but slightly spicy and sharp at the same time. It's classy but not too classy to wear casual. Dressed-up casual.. not blue jeans casual.

Longevity is average, sillage is average. If over-applied, the Anise-Amber may get too strong during the dry down, so it's best to go easy on it to keep it smooth.

That is what this frag is speaking to me. It is a classic and i love it, smoky-ish plus wood....very nice and yet not awfully ultra woody, have a hint of sweetness, mind you, the slightest, dont expect too much.

All in all, love it!!!!

A modern masculine classic if there ever was one. Takes the best aspects of Brut & Old Spice and takes it to the next stratosphere so that a man can wear something special and new.

One of the most versatile men's scents too. Perfect for the office or a night on the town. With a tie or an open button-down shirt, it's doesn't matter.

Envy handles it all so superbly. Starts out with a spicy accord that's really hard to pinpoint one note though the coriander & pepper make their presence known. Glides into a heart of ginger and carnation that give it both a sweet and piney aura.

Also, I'm reminded of those great 70's scents that used carnation & pine. This is also where it takes it beats loudly, never too sweet or too piney either.

It casually saunters out of the room in a breeze of vetiver, sandalwood & vanilla. Timeless and ageless. Uplifting and bright, romantic and cordial.

The bottom line is that Gucci Envy is near-perfect for me !

9/10 but please, please do -NOT - buy it, so it can remain very special.....

a KING amongst the aquas di hommeles of the today crowds....

Mind you: If you do buy it, do not overapplie it. This is a parfume, not one of the watered down's you can shower yourself with.....
