The powerful, feminine perfume by the house of Gucci, Gucci by Gucci presented last year, received its light edition. Just like its predecessor, EDP version, and this EDT edition includes the notes of guava, pear and chamomile in the top notes, with floral accords of lily of the valley and neroli in the heart. The base notes include patchouli and musk. EDT version is available in a pale pink bottle of the same shape and in the amount of 50 and 75 ml. It has been at the market since 2008. The perfumer is Firmenich.

I received a sample of the Gucci by Gucci EDT and I’m very impressed! Sometimes chypre florals don’t mix well with my chemistry; the only exceptions would be Ysatis and Halston. However, I’ve found this EDT by Gucci to be light and a little spicy fragrance. The pear and chamomile give the top note a lively sparkle; with lily-of-the-valley and neroli combining into an intoxicating mix of sweet flowers and the deep, intoxicating aroma of neroli. It seems as if there is more to the base note than patchouli and musk... I sense some warming spices. Very tempting. This fragrance is vivid but not overpowering. Good for everyday, or even every night!
