It was recently bought for me from the Harrods sale in a Gift set( Shower gel, After Shave Balm and 50ml eau de toilette).
It reminds me of Celine - Celine Homme.
Its quite Fresh. .
I would certainly not have purchased it myself though.

i got a chance to sample this about a year back and did so again recently, i must say i love the fragrance, it invokes a fresh but powerful sweetness, it would be a completely enjoyable fragrance, my only negative remark is that it doesnt last as long as id like it to, sadly it died out after 4-5 hours, but considering it is a sport frag we can let that slide no? i say this is definitely a try or buy, and touching the "design" aspect, i think the bottle is brilliantly designed and the juice has a lovely fresh color (i like it better than the original )

For a sport frag this is quite remarkable since is fresh and elegant at the same time. Fruity, green, fig smell with an amazing 10 hrs. longevity and very good projection for the first 5 hrs. Not bad for a sport frag.

This cologne actually smells pretty nice, well, for about an hour anyway. Which is all it will last. It completely dissapears after like 3 hours, and that is if you are lucky.

Silage is pretty much non existant. This is definitely one of those colognes where someone sprays on the card, thinks it smells good, and buys it on the spot.

So, if you have one night stands with famous female Russian tennis stars on a regular basis, this fresh and sporty breeze is for you.

If you are a normal human being that wants a better value for your money, go for something else.

gucci and all the other great perfumers need to STICK TO WHAT THEY KNOW! when they try to make lighter shorter lasting sporty scents they end up with nondescript overpriced frags. If i am going to buy from gucci, i want their exotic smelling brews like gucci envy, gucci and gucci II and the new chypre because they have more character to them and really differentiate themselves. This seems to be just following the trends and it will not stand the test of time

My mother gave it to me and I was so excited to try it. I gave it a shot for 3 days and unfortunately, the excitement ended in disappointment.

The smell is quite nice. Reminds me of a minty bubblegum. Like most sporty fragrances, it gives you the cool feeling and breeze. Sillage is 6/10. It's a shy type frag. Sprayed on the neck, chest and wrist, no compliment unless someone hug me for 2 secs. No trail whatsoever. Longevity is the big problem here. Last only about an hour or less. I'll give it 3/10.

I won't recommend this one. You can just test it but don't buy it.

A clean modern smell which is soft and inviting and has a mild appealing fruity smell in the dry down

However, it lasts approx 1 hour, seriously, what is that all about?

Waste of money

As much as I want to like this fresh scent It does not give you much for your money. Right out of the bottle it smelles great, but two minutes after that it all down hill and the scent does not last long if you get more than 3 to 4 hours out of this consider youself lucky. It should never take a fragrence more than 4 sprays to do the trick for any man, but with this one you could spray yourself 6 times and still not smell it by the time you got to wherever you were going. pass

I like this fragrance a lot! It's fun and invigorating, sporty, and fresh. It blows the original, which is nice but very generic, way out of the water. I wish they would call this something different, because flankers are kind of a pet peeve of mine. Whatever. It's nice though... I recommend it.

I tested Gucci by Gucci Sport when it first hit the department stores, and I wasn't that impressed. I was disappointed with the House for discontinuing the much beloved older scents like Nobile & Envy. Decided they had become too mainstream and boring. I was down on the new releases, and had made up my mind to never like or wear the "new Gucci" fragrances. BUT. . . a sales clerk slipped the tester card under my nose without my knowing what it was. Bam! I really liked it. I was embarassed since I had already snubbed the Gucci case. So here I am admitting it's a great scent. I purchased it and I like it. There. I admitted it.

This having been said, I have to also admit I don't like Gucci by Gucci or Guilty much. One of the turn-offs for me was that it was just a Sport flanker. The scent, in my opinion, is superior to the original; and is deserving of its own unique branding instead of just being the "sport" version. I guess this is a successful trend, but I'm going to look past it.

Now to the scent. It's very straight forward(linear), yet has a depth and quality to it that pleases my nose. It smells better on my skin than on the card, and it is very long lasting in the hot, hot Texas heat. It doesn't fade or sour. A good choice for Spring and Summer and I'd wear it in Fall and Winter too. There's a note that I love. I'm thinking it's the combination of fig zest and cypress. It's cool, but not overly light. It's crisp and slightly woody. Not too fruity and not spicy. Fresh but not aquatic. More sophisticated than sporty at heart. It's a wonderful blend, and I'm glad I decided to give it a chance.

I challenge you to try it and keep an open mind. If you like it and live in a warm climate it's going to be a go to scent. Trust me.

You know, it's kinda juicy. It's casual. It's not what Gucci Pour Homme fans would want to respect as a decent Gucci fragrance. But the fact that it's a SPORT fragrance makes it an excellent Gucci offering. I have never enjoyed a SPORT version of a fragrance like I do this one. There's nothing wrong with it. On my skin, I get a big sillage and the longevity is going on 9 hours strong in Kuwaiti heat (46C/ 114.8F today). The composition is pleasant, in my opinion. In fact, this is for guys who had to grab Versace Versense for their fig fix. The most desireable fig fragrances have always been "pour elle", with Hermes' Un Jardin En Mediterranee as one of the only credible exceptions. Gucci has done a great job with the creation of Gucci by Gucci Sport. Finally, a memorable fig "for men". For that alone, I will wear it proudly.

Being as though I'm a fan of Gucci sneakers and sportswear, I wonder:
What did all of these harsh critics think Gucci was going to pair its more athletic/sporty fashion offerings with?

According to its designs, Gucci mastered elegance and fragility. This scent confirms it.
I'm surprised because I expected to see melon among notes. The main pattern which doesn't change from start till the end smells like melon; exactly melon, juicy and sweet. For this reason, this perfumes evokes a manly elegance which is between 18~25. But men whom Gucci illustrates are so chic, sexy and conversable.
It's so modern, pleasant, smooth, clean, both familiar and odd. Just after opening, fig, junipers, cypress and grapefruit play dominantly. But it can be said that all of elements present a united pattern of smell and it's not reasonable to separated them because the pattern doesn't change at all.

When I spryed Gucci Sport on my skin for the first time (and the last one, I swear) I thought I had the wrong vial as It smelled so cheap and awful. I double checked the sample packaging ad realized that it was really Gucci Sport. Oh My God what a disaster! An indefinite, generic and quite ridicolous marine-citrus fragrance that should be better named as Adidas Chrome or Benetton Blue Orange. Avoid!

My suggestion to Frida Giannini is to keep on doing ugly clothes, because if you don't like them at least you can turn your head so to not watch them. With perfumes it's a bit different because you can't simply turn your head, you need also to stop breathing and it could become quite challenging.

I feel obligated to let the hair on my chest grow as long as possible, wear a button up shirt with the top 4-5 buttons undone so everyone can see my blackberry patch of chest hair, go to a coffee house while people are studying and conducting business and talk obnoxiously loud on my cell phone if I wear this. Definitely not what I would want to walk around smelling like. Sorry… this one is a no go!

Hi.

Another sporty fragrance and this time by one of my favorite brands GUCCI however i am often surprise when i see negative reviews about GUCCI fragrances here!this one is a younger version of the original and also more fresh than it.Masculine,Modern,Joyous ,Refreshing,Crisp and Enjoyable.

It has a intense citrus notes and a aromatic heart soothed by a woodsy base notes as it is not too heavy and too light.GUCCI BY GUCCI SPORT doesn't have similar with DIOR HOME SPORT for me.it is a great kind of cologne for real man who like to smell fresh and clean after a hard day work.

It is not strong or overpowering at all.A very nice Springtime scent indeed and like all GUCCI fragrances this one comes in a stylish bottle too.for the young to the young at heart this is the great scent for you.perfect for DAILY wear.

Sillage?Pleasant.

Longevity?Admissible on my skin

As for me I find it VERY different from Dior Homme Sport. I can not even compare both. Unless if we are talking about the top lemony start, feature that is common to most of those called sport scents. I couldn't like anything about Gucci Sport. It is too humdrum to my nose that I can not classify it as refined, complex, good, bad, pleasant. Don't expect anything terrible as I´m talking like this, but I always want to wash it off.

Its nothing new but it's still very nice. I'll have to try Green Jeans and compare.
I've never worn anything like it, but I've definitely smelt it before.

It's starts off a green fruit zest and calms down to stay green fruity while the patchouli kicks in very slightly.

Love it when its first sprayed on. Zesty grapefruit and oranges. Very energetic with hints of sweet figs. I can sense the muskiness of melons in the opening but its not listed in the notes. It dries down very quickly and becomes a green scent. The dry down is a big meh, your typical'sporty' fragrance. I wish if only the fresh top notes and figs could last longer, this would have been great.Good for office or gym, very easy to wear.

Well. The name of this fragrance, should be Gucci by Gucci Chilled. I tell you why.
The first sniff, is clean red-mandarin, which boost you up for a minute, but then, it's a very calm, chilled fragrance. Maybe the fig gives you a little sour (like the taste of fig) but then it comes a safe, chilled, anytime-anywhere scent. But also it's breeze too. It's not bad. Great fragrance for those, who likes the brand of Gucci and want a high quality scent. I admit that it's not original, but for fans, it's worth.

SMH @ GUCCI! SMH means shaking my head for those of you wondering.. This is w/o a shadow of a doubt another bad release from the house of Gucci. Someone mentioned that it smells similar to Versace Green Jeans & I would have to agree, & that is nothing to boast about. The fresh yet predictable scent is nothing more than a attempt to keep up with the rest of these perfume homes who are creating this sporty/fresh unoriginal scent. When was the last time the fragrance world had a fresh/sport fragrance that really set the standard for all these wanna bee's? Not impressed!

Many find this fragrance bland, boring and unoriginal, a scent that didn't live up to the expectations set by the original Gucci by Gucci pour Homme. I don't agree. I find Gucci by Gucci Sport a deliciously refreshing scent, perfect for hot Summer days and sporty activities.

This fragrance opens with a watery burst of fizzy grapefruit, mint and greenery. It reminds me slightly of cooling cucumber, however it may be the cypress that makes me feel this way.

The sillage is moderate, so it doesn't overpower. It just lingers softly on the skin, catching whiffs of it here and there.

I like the sporty concept, although for some I know, they find it too predictable and overdone. Let's just say that I live with a man that frequents the gym quite regularly, and when he wears heavy deoderants or colognes it makes him smell absolutely repulsive. However lighter scents, like Cool Water by Davidoff, Hei by Alfred Sung and fragrances like this one, last the duration of the workout and don't clash with a male's natural perspiration.

The cardamon, ambrette seeds and patchouli gives this fragrance a wonderfully grounded earthiness. However for those that detest patchouli, I guarantee that in this fragrance it does not dominate. The scent remains fresh and light throughout the composition.

Gucci by Gucci Sport keeps growing on me. Its clean, menthol-like scent, makes me long for the hot weather and hot men. Cheeky I know, it's the fragrance doing the talking, not me I swear.

This frag has a similarity to versace green jeans, only that versace is a little too strong after first spray then subtle with skin and at a fraction of a cost than gucci's sport. Anyway, this is a green citrus aroma, quite pleasant and lastly. To be worn anytime of the day.

An EDT with a very pleasant aroma and sports. Input your notes are rich in timber citrcas element, followed by middle notes with a breathtakingly rich smell, detected a wealth of juniper berries with very impressive cardamom, revitalize, its base notes are patchouli richest.

A very fine fragrance and suitable for areas Deportv, I think this should smell an executive at a luxury gym. Its use is beyond the gym, can be used on special occasions, is a very fine aroma and well-made, formal dinners, cultural events, including gala dinners make the grade this EDT. The age range can be from teens (for special occasions) until very mature men. The season of use can be warm or cold climates, although its power should be recommended for use in cold weather. Pretty good fixation on the skin, about nine hours. A sophisticated fragrance, sports and causal at a time. Highly recommended.

@bwcw81. I was just gonna say it smells similar to DKNY Men 2009 and Azzaro Chrome (I don't have Diesel Only The Brave, so I can't say...)
Anyway, Gucci Sport is still a nice scent. It gets pretty smooth once the initial citrus notes has gone while retaining its freshness and green aromatic feel. Overall quality is great (bottle and juice) but there is nothing out of the ordinary It's still a typical Woody Aromatic scent, and Gucci just tries to capitalize the "sport" market... and they got me to spend $$$

So what is it with the release of sport frgrances by almost all houses.
The last thing sporting people think about is fragrance when they are participating in sport.
The first thing you see in a discount bin in fragrance shops are sport fragrances.
It's a bore regardless of how good the fragrance is.
Even the almighty Gucci can look forward to the sale bins with this SPORT offering.
It should be instant dismissal for any marketing pleb that recommends a SPORT fragrance as the next big thing for the brand.
Off to my hockey game and I'm not wearing a SPORT fragrance.

Honestly, maybe I just have the right skin for it, but I really like it! I'm a first time buyer, but I went through about 30 different fragrances, and I kept coming back! It actually seems to last on my skin, 6-8 hours. My one gripe is that the projection isn't very good, but that can be a pro too, I suppose. Maybe it's just my skin, but this was a win for me!

I just recently purchased this fragrance, and I like it, but its fairly weak in the longevity Dept, about 2 hours. It goes on great, I love how it smells when its first sprayed on, citrusy, sporty, and a bit peppery, but dries down extremely quick. I know from experience that sometimes, even though you may think a fragrance is very weak and none existent, people can still smell it on you, even when you can't, so I have to give this Cologne some time.

This in my opinion is a somewhat of a safe fragrance, which is not a bad thing. It goes on great and is a easy cologne to wear, and you wont have to worry about turning anyone off.

It a very casual, for spring/summer only! great for office wear, or just knocking around town.

Sporty and citrusy. Imagine a well blend of Chrome + DKNY Men + Only the Brave and there you go! It is nothing similar to the original, weak in longevity (2 hours only) and ok for sillage, in fact I think most sport version fragrance will tends to have lighter scent.

Too ordinary and lack of creativity in the mass market. Test it before you make purchase.

Despite all the negative reviews I find this one rather interesting. Yes, it is generic and not original, but Gucci by Gucci Sport is very delicious and, I think, it would be very comfortable to wear it, especially in summer. It starts with sugary grapefruit, and in this way it resembles the sweeter version of Boss Pure (It seems that P&G uses the formula of Boss Pure in all its fresh scents - first in Lacoste Essential Sport, after that here). Then the great amount of fruits appears and the scent becomes very soapy. But, as I've already mentioned, Gucci by Gucci Sport is pleasant and has the future of big bestseller. The longevity on my skin is surprisingly good, not poor.
