Habit Rouge Habit de Cuir is a limited edition for 2011, made in honor of the legendary perfume.

Top notes: lemon, mandarin, bergamot and rosewood. Heart: carnation, cinnamon, cedar and patchouli. Base: amber, benzoin, leather and vanilla.

The fragrance comes in a bottle covered in red leather as 100 ml EDT.

yes, indeed. I bought it myself. the leather pouch can be reused. This fragrance is timeless and just brilliant... I can understand that, at first, you have to learn how to appreciate this scent. It's quite complex in my opinion, but that's actually what makes it so good and attractive. It's very long lasting but at the end, you're really missing the top notes and the scent becomes a little bit too flat.

A beautiful bottle is always nicer then a lame one, but actually in this case i don't care at all, if they sold it in a pink milk carton i'd still buy it for the same price or more.

This scent is timeless, perfection all the way for me.

Yes, Habit Rouge de Cuir is the same as the original Habit Rouge only with a leather (cuir) cover. Hopefully this will become the new bottle as the other one looks rather cheap and uninventive.

This is the EDT version.

I am told the leather cover can be used again after consumption of perfume and that the scent is identical to the original Habit Rouge.

Anyone tried it yet to confirm?
