You feel feminine, soft and sensual at the same time. You feel like waking up in a bed with white sheets next to a beautiful guy with the sun in your face...

Honeysuckle was in full bloom and was surronded by bees. I laid down in the grass, close my eyes and just let the smell fill my lungs and senses.
Its such a confort scent to me, perfect for rainy days, hot cup of tea with a drop of honey.
Has wonderfull sillage and staying power

It is a romantic, elegant and classy smell, it is truly a Guerlain, because is unforgettable, and a great perfume to be reminded of perfect and happy instants...
It is such a perfect perfume for me since I love floral fragrances, and I have found that is a perfect day wear but can also be worn at night.
Great perfume! I love you Guerlain!

To my mind it's a substantial, complex and 'expensive' smelling fragrance. Mature, elegant and confidently sexy.
And finally, the chunky clear glass flacon, with accents of purple when viewed from an angle, is just gorgeous!

And then I saw reviews of Guerlain's fragrances here and started to think that I do something wrong since there is so many Guerlain's "lovers". I've learned that those fragrances need time to develop more than others I know.
Thank you guys, your comments opened new experiences for me!
And about L'Instant de Guerlain I have a very nice experience but after a while. The opening does not make me say wow, but when the base notes start to speak it's a different story...
Very delicate and warm, a bit powdery, with a touch of fresh honey and vanilla, rather long lasting, which is surprising for such a gentle scent. Very intriguing, complex and truly feminine - like a woman is :)
oh and all this is about EDT

It really grew on me. A whoosh of florals, heavy on the ambre-vanilla-musk & powdery, too. Dries down to reveal a more elegant mix, but one that others are very aware of (the pungent, room-engulfing white lily mellybee describes is a great description...love/hate, but strong emotions either way, it takes no prisoners).
It seems to me to be quite old fashioned & of another time. I can imagine very rich, well-dressed, older women wearing this. However, I still am inexplicably drawn to this scent but I would probably only venture to wear it in the evening.
Very intriguing.

We open with all the main stars taking a bow on stage together: the honey, magnolia, amber and powdery notes are extremely well balanced with none pushing to the fore quite yet. As the perfume develops, it's as though each of the notes makes its presence distinctly known, then waves goodbye whilst making way for the next to appear. The magnolia is an excellent edition here, it prevents the mix becoming sickly and introduces a welcome note of freshness.
Overall, this reminded me of a long-lasting, far more sophisticated version of Kenzo Flower. Not as quite as powdery, perhaps, but the impression still remains.
This is a very harmonious, comforting perfume to wear. It's not fabulously exciting & it's not going to change the world, but it's an interesting twist of a perfume that should do much to please both floral and amber lovers, whilst disgusting nobody at all. Does this mean the perfume is unexciting? Mostly, but there are some pleasant notes to savour along the way, and I found the journey subtly intriguing, if not the sensual white-knuckle ride I usually prefer.

An everwear for all seasons and occasions!
Guerlain is my favourite perfumer and though I rank L'Instant 5th, I still think it's an amazing fragrance

not terrible, but not overly great just average. i wish there was more vanilla in it, or that i could at least smell the apple! this was VERY floral for me, i would have appreciated more emphasis on the vanilla or benzoin. pretty, and pretty inocuous....not for me.

Suprisingly, it grows on me and I am now a fan.
The EDP version is richer, sweeter, more full bodied and warmer that the EDT version.
I adore this scent. Its so sensual and emotive.
Love it !

L'Instant De Guerlain Eau De Toilette??

So, about L'Instant de Guerlain. I like its very complex and merry composition, bright and modern, with a nice reminiscence of Shalimar (I smell it in most guerlains ;o) in the end.
