L'Âme d'Un Héros (for men)

L'Âme d'Un Héros (The Soul of a Hero) is a new jewel of the Guerlain's Le Parisiennes collection created in honor of the Roman general Coriolanus, who by the way, also inspired Plutarch, Beethoven and Shakespeare. This fragrance is a reissue of the famous Guerlain's fragrance Coriolan, created by Jean-Paul Guerlain and launched in 1998.

With the new name and advanced composition, it opens with wafts of luminous citruses, lemon and bergamot, and the full joy and delight is brought by neroli and sage in the top notes.

As the Guerlain house says: 'the effect is fresh, transparent and sumptuously green, like a landscape in the sun warmed by heart notes...' composed of ylang-ylang, absinthe, and cypress and spiced with nutmeg.

Base notes bring voluptuous accords of woods, and amber, with a heroic spirit expressed with the elegant notes of vetiver, and with a touch of mystery brought in by patchouli and balsamic notes.

L'Âme d'Un Héros comes as 125ml (4.4 oz.fl.) EDT and in 2008 will be available at four La Maison Guerlain in the world – Bergdorf Goodman in New York-u, Neiman Marcus in San Francisco, The Breakers - Palm Beach, and French Pavilion at Epcot.
