A new perfume by the house of Guerlain, Les Secrets de Sophie, has been introduced recently. It was created by Jean-Paul Guerlain as an accentuated floral composition which accompanies three romantic and feminine flacons, available in limited number.

Les Secrets de Sophie is a unique edition with a purpose to show various moods and moments we remember. Black, pink and shimmering white decorate each flacon created by designer Sophie Levy.

Name of each flacon suggests only colour of details, so fragrance Les Secrets de Sophie was presented with three subtitles basically:

Les Secrets Noirs de Sophie is the flacon with black sticker, bow ribbon and atomizer. Les Secrets Poudres de Sophie is the flacon with pink accessories, while Les Secrets Nuits de Sophie is decorated with white details (also sticker, ribbon and atomizer).

The composition starts with a fresh blend of petit grain oil, bitter orange, neroli from Tunisia and bergamot. A heart blossoms with jasmine, violet leaves, orange blossom and ylang-ylang, while a base encompasses tonka, vanilla, incense and white musk. The three flacons are available as 60ml EDP, limited editions Les Secrets de Sophie was launched in 2009.

I love this! I do not see me purchasing a $420 bottle however someone sent me a decant which is very nice of them! I am totally enjoying it today!
No perfume is too classy for me!

Alfiecroning, dont let yourself be fooled by other people's appearences, your taste and sensibility with perfumes are totally fine and in no relation to salary, education or birth. If it were that way, only Kings would be noses, perfume creators and it's obviously not the case!!!

I received the black bottle from Neiman Marcus three days ago and have sprayed it only once. My first impression is that it is highly overrated, although that is not an opinion my perfume pals share. It is a much more sophisticated and delicate floral than the headache-inducing Idylle but not worth the $420 in my opinion, unless you are a Guerlain collector. The bottle is utterly gorgeous and comes numbered out of 656 bottles. The black version is harsher in person than on a computer screen. Consider the white or pink versions, instead. If you have the money to spend, buy any of the Elixir Charnels--they are mind-numbingly addictive, and only buy Sophie if you are a corporate lawyer or other highly sophisticated professional with an appreciation of the finer luxuries. Sadly, I am too low on the corporate ladder to appreciate this bitter white floral.
