this is indeed very powdery, the red pepper (or pimento?) gives it a dusty feel and a contrast to the vanilla which is also there flowers giving support from the background. Also strong on the vetiver.

My sister and I share custody of this :)
When she has used it for 2 months, I get it, and so on, but now I have been waiting for 3 months ...
It is a soft vanilla scent with a hint of pepper and wood. Very elegant, ladylike. There is no mistaking that this is a Guerlain. Definitely worth the money.

I agree it is nothing like Champs Elysees.
Soft, powdered almonds, tender rose petals and hint of pepper on a warm and sparkling vanilla base.Modern,elegant, feminine and definitely Guerlain!

Smells nothing like original Champs Elysees. This one is very much like one of the various takes on Turkish Delight only more focused on almond rather than powdered sugar or cherry. Very pretty!
I really wish it was more widely available.
