This may not be a ground-breaking scent. But for me, this is a narrative of my childhood frolic at the floral garden with animal topiary, bushes cut out in animal forms, strangely the grass was greener and fresher then, the sprinklers, we could just about forget all our cares (like we had any at 5) and roll on the garden grass from high ground and low ground and circle around magnolia tree trunks then dig into the basket and bite an apple. And the sun shone down more pleasantly then. Guess just takes me back to that time and I luvvv it for doing that.

Perfect fruity floral, best for spring and summer only. It's fruity sweet, refreshing, crispy, and very green. Magnolia, Lily, Apple, Strawberry and softened by a light musk. It warms up quickly on my dry skin, so I am sure on those with more oily skins it would smell even more phenomenal. It's a classic fragrance, something that will always be "in". Extremely lovable and approachable, feminine but also masculine. I enjoy it and will keep it around for a long time. Lovers of Versace Bright Crystal and the like will absolutely love this even more.

When i sprayed this onto a test strip, the first thing that rushed to my mind was DNKY Be Delicious. Surprisingly enough i find out the master nose responsible in producing Guess for women is Maurice roucel the same man and nose again that has put together the finishing product of DKNY Be Delicious! I am glad to add this to my perfume collection.

Guess for Women is a really pleasant fragrance, and quite a popular one too. I can certainly understand its appeal.

It's a crisp and feminine fruity floral, that thankfully doesn't smell cheap despite its affordability. I wore this fragrance today, and I must say I was super impressed. It would make a fantastic casual Spring/Summer fragrance.

The fruit notes, (such as, green apple, peach, strawberry and tangerine), are subdued, refreshing and clean on the skin. I had initial fears that Guess for Women would resemble a fruity Escada release, however this was not so. It smelt like a quality shampoo.

I actually tossed up the idea of purchasing a bottle for my own collection, but unfortunately the peony was too dominant when mixed with my chemistry. On other people's skin the magnolia, strawberry and apple are the main notes.

Guess for Women is a really safe fragrance, one that could work well as a blind buy or even as a gift. As it is also quite clean, I'm certain that it'd be quite a compliment getter. Some reviewers have complained of poor longevity, however I got a good eight hours wear out of Guess for Women. I recommend.

Doesn't this set of notes in front of you look like it smells georgeous? That's what I thought too when I looked at for the first time too, and sit in disbelief wondering why it smells like it does? I love this perfume though, despite the fact that it smells cheaper than Mariah Carey's personality(thumbs up for your music though!), because of the memories it gives me. My mother got this as a gift for mothers day a few years ago, in a set that came with this adorable purple-pink heart which she gave to me and I still have. This would've smelled amazing if it smelt realistic, I am able to pick out the individual notes here but I think that the overral effect of all of them together gives a fake "perfume" feel. I like my fragrances to smell so real you'd think the actual fruit tree, flower or dessert is really near you, not like a chemical concoction. I might be biased against this fragrance because of the freesia though, as there is no note I hate more than freesia thanks to it spoiling midnight fantasy, would've been flawless without it. Anyways, terrible lasting power and sillage, but lovely bottle at least, and that purple heart I have will always be cherished by me for sentimental reasons of good memories. Would suit a woman in her 30s for summer though!

This was my go to scent all during high school. I still love it too! It's great for night and day and any season as well. It lasts a really long time on me too. All and all a great perfume to add to any collection.

At first I thought that it was expired because it smelled like spoiled fruit. I stopped using it. After a couple months I sprayed it on my wrist and went about doing normal activities, every now and then i would get a whiff of something good, "what is that smell" I thought to myself. Then lo and behold it was this. Now i cant get enough of it. Once it dries down and the base notes flare up, it is quite pleasant

I always had a bias against this fragrance because it was the first one Guess issued after discontinuing my signature, Guess Original, making this sort of a replacement. Now that 10 years has gone by, I've approached it with an open mind and tried it on its own merits. I must admit it is pleasant, even though its nothing like the Original. This is very sweet, tart, sour, and fresh. The green apple is very prevalent to me, and I also smell sweet lily of the valley and freesia. I find this to be very crisp and uplifting.

Just tested this today and I love it! It starts out intensely sweet, the kind of bubbly gum sweet... but better! Within a few minutes it changes into a very clean & crisp scent which I like very much! It does remind me of ''Tous Gold'' which I currently own and absolutely love as well!

Flowery/fruity fumes are a dime a dozen, but this is a fave. My daily scent, light enough so it doesn't offend-but whenever someone leans in for a hug or handshake I get compliments. Flowers underscored by fresh fruit and a tiny bit of something that smells like tea to me. Maybe it's just me, but it lasts hours on my skin-although very soft.
Great for office/daytime/summer. Layers well with Madame, Escada S and Tresor for a more "evening" scent.

these is richer than soap,not very uniek.But it is good for not every day we want to jump out the masse.

I love this perfume... I always keep it in my handbag as its soft & fresh enough to top up my main scents I wear. It reminds me of freshly cut apples & strawberries. Yumm :)

This smells awful, like hungover drank way too much last night and alcohol is leaking out of my pores awful. It's really strong and smells just like alcohol on me. The plus side (for me) is it didn't last long.

I had this perfume because of it was discounted (at 50% off) and it was sold like pancakes in our area (and I was told that this perfume is going to be phased out already). It smelt too strong at the first spray, then it suddenly smells like I was in a field of flowers and a basket of green apples. I was complimented when wearing it, but I dunno, it's too floral for me. (Maybe just because I am a fan of tea and fruity scents) It also doesn't have a lasting power on my skin -- only lasts for an hour or two, so I just spray it on my clothes instead, so that it lasts for 4-6 hours. Had to spray 5 times or more just to give a good sillage.

i wasn't able to finish the pull bottle, i just thrown it away after being just stacked up on my drawer for years since it does't smells right already. It was an ok fragrance for me, almost the same smell like of paris hilton sheer.

I hope everybody believes what I am about to say but .....I know that scent!!!! & I know many people who smell like that!!!! but honestly.....NEVER EVER thought it was a perfume , I thought it was their skin scent loooool or probably a local soap they used in the shower but a perfume???? no waaaaay

I love this perfume! Refreshing, not over the top sweet, and light enough to wear everyday.

This is one of the few perfumes I actually hate. I got this as a present for my birthday from a cousin who was eager to smell it on me, but it gets me in a horrible mood. To me it smells like a sickly sweet rotten berry note that lasts and lasts.

I'm eager to get rid of it, so if anyone wants to trade message me; there's still about half a bottle left since my mom began using it and got sick of it.

Love this scent. It's a light combination of fruity and floral that still smells classy, and not too juvenile. It isn't overbearing and perfect for every day wear.

I don't mind this perfume, I do think it has a very good balance of sweet and citrus.

It's a typical frutti-floral fragrance, similar to many others. It's fresh, a bit sweet, not overpowering. Staying power is good- about 6-7 hours. It is nice, not complicated, good for summer and spring time. Teenagers will like this one. Inexpensive, good quality. Bottle is really pretty.

This perfume is okay.. i would not buy it again.. i dont like the bottle and there is too much Magnolia.. to me it leaves a almost nutty smell on my skin (like walnuts) when it fades.. there is nothing special about it. I bought mine a few years ago and still have 75% left. i wear it when i just want to have on perfume and i dont care what i wear. Ive never gotten any compliments on it. It smells okay.. Teen Girls would probably think its fancy, but anyone over 20 will think its Average...

I don't like this. It does NOT smell like Estee Lauder Beautiful Sheer at all. I actually like that more than this. This smells EXACTLY like Salvatore Ferragamo Incanto Shine & the lighter version of L'eau d'Issey Issey Miyake for women. This is a light, floral, fruity, watery scent. Perfect for a teen fragrance. Not mature, sophisticated at all, absolutely nothing special. I definitely regret purchasing this.

I tried it the other day at Guess outlet-this is very pleasant fresh floral. I am pretty picky when it comes to floral fragrances and this one is very pretty and young. Peony, magnolia, jasmine-these are all my favorite flowers especially peony and this scent smells mostly of peony and magnolia with musk drydown. In my opinion it has much better lasting power than lot of other floral fragrances out there(Love Unlimited, I am talking to you!). If you are a fresh floral lover, I highly recommend it. Picture walking in the garden in the early morning, as sun rises and warms up the flowers around and you will smell their heady freshness. This is what I picture when I smell this scent. Btw, I layered it with Cherry Blossom lotion from BBW, its blends quite well together
P.S. Near my desk at work there is a vase with some fake flowers in it. Yesterday, a client came into the office and exclaimed" Oh, something smells nice" and proceeded to sniff the fake flowers because she thought that's where the floral scent was coming from. I had to tell her that it wasn't the flowers but my perfume! LOL

Pleasant, soft, lovely and safe perfume. Guess by Guess is one of those scents that are like an elegant but comfortable outfit in my wardrobe that I love wearing on those days when I want to feel good and relaxed at the same time. The fragrance has a soft and delicate texture that I find soothing but at the same time the scent has style and nice modern ambience. It is discreet, non-intrusive and not aggressive, which makes it an ideal office and daily scent.

The scent opens with a fresh and pleasant combination of crispy apple, citrus and just a hint of strawberry. The composition is not overly sweet but rather invigorating and light. The combination of magnolia and peony is refreshing and enjoyable in the heart notes. The other flowers are not that noticeable on my skin. The scent transforms into a floral musk in the base. The sillage and longevity are medium. I re-apply the scent throughout a day.

The words ‘pleasant’ and ‘safe’ are often used in a negative way for saying that the scent is generic and boring but this is not the case with Guess by Guess. The composition works well. And though the scent is a bit synthetic, it does not ruin it for me. On a contrary, I think it works fine with creating a safe and modern fragrance, which is soft, feminine and pleasant to wear.
Overall score is 7.5/10.

I got it as a birthday gift, and was suprised how much I liked it. This parfume received lots of compliments. If I will see it in store, I will get it again.

Smelled this at Kohls today and fell in love! It smells like a field of flowers. Beautiful. It's extremely floral, light yet perfect. Definently purchasing this!

Smells clean and floral smells like it maybe has an earl grey tea scent in it.Very close to elizabeth arden green tea actually but I prefer this over that.

I have been ignoring this for so long thinking it was just gonna smell clean, but wow where is the beach? this smells amazingly beachy even smell some sun tan oil, this will be a fantastic summer scent.

I really wanted to love this. But I can't get over the fact that I smells like Chinese food to me. I can't get over it, it smells like over whelming soy sauce. It is so bitter and sour smelling and I really cannot stand it. It's really too bad. I'm in bc! Anyone wanna trade?

a very safe perfume for work. i like the scent, its sweet and pretty with a few fruits thrown in. not loud at all. dosen't last too long, maybe an hour. i find guess gold and guess by marciano have better lasting power. i have a big bottle but wouldn't buy it again. this will be enough. 6-10.

Its a really nice scent. Very feminine, I don't know why but it kind reminds me frozen blueberries with sugar..hahah Its funny, but it is what it is. Anyway I do recomend this fragrance :)

This has become one of my go-to fragrances. It is soft, fresh and feminine. It smells like you just got out of the shower. It is perfect to wear to work or just to lounge around in. It is a very comfortable scent that smells very clean. It's something you spray on when you're not sure what you want because it makes you feel clean and fresh and ready for what the day might bring. It has full day lasting power on me as well, which is great, and helps me feel good all through my work day. I'm really glad I have it.

I used to love this, it is now part of my older perfumes stash, even though I´ve only had it for a year.

On me, the scent stays for hours! It worked well with my body chemistry when I used to live in a hot dry area. Now I live in a cool area and this is not for me anymore.

I reccomend this to anyone because it is a lovely fragrance.

I HATED THIS, when you first spray this its so strong you can barely stay close to it, then with time it will fade away but still smells strong till eventually (doesnt take that long) fades away.

Guess Silver is a perfect fragrance if you have no idea what to wear on the day!
It is not to say it is generic or boring, not at all - it is a multi-purpose fragrance, so to speak :-)
It will fit a nice skirt suit as well as plush lounger trousers. It will be suitable to be worn during family meetings as well as job interviews.
Whether winter or summer - it blends well with my skin chemistry and uplifts my spirits.
The most pronounced are magnolia, berries, peach and freesia.
Lasting power and silage are both decent.
Guess is my perfect floral fruity fragrance.
The bottle is pretty.
Overall 9/10.

Guess for Women was all I wore in college... It's not unique but it's young and sexy. I wouldn't wear it now because smells like such a "mall" perfume.

It took me a while to appreciate this perfume. I'm not a huge fan of floral scents and therefore disliked Guess for Women on the first spritz. It is not a beautiful smell on my skin, but it is pleasant enough to wear on a day when you want to be subtle and smell like a garden in the early days of bloom.

I was hoping for stronger fruity notes, but the fruits in this perfume are dominated by the flowers. After a while, when the perfume settles, I smell like a toilet freshener.

The lasting power is weak on my skin and there are much prettier scents out there than this one. I don't particularly dislike this perfume, but I wouldn't recommend it either.

But, for all those floral lovers out there, why not give this one a go?

Selling perfumes is part of my job and one thing I noticed about this particular one is that it is a definite all-rounder. People who like different fragrences all like this one.

Smells like Versace Bright Crystal or Gucci Envy the pink one. Very pretty and lasts and it lasts even longer on clothes. It does have a plastic doll noted in it. I have the lotion and it has a touch of rubber or plastic only when I first apply it then when it warms with my skin it smells normal. Not sure what is going on there. It is super cheap to buy too. My husband loves it which is unusual for a guy.

I recieved this perfume as a gift, it's very deep and musky to me, took awhile getting used to but I love it now. Very strong with great staying power.

A very nice fruity scent, but after a few months, you get tired of it. It's best to buy a small bottle than go for the bigger one.

well, i don't get any of the top notes at all, i spray few spritzes of this one and it goes directly to a beautiful garden of roses, jasmine, lily & magnolia are the most prominent to my nose, it's a very beautiful scent but the problem is -yup, it's refreshing & light- so not my signature fume or smn, but i definitely wear it every now & again for this beautiful garden smell; it also dries down to a strong powdery musky scent, the dry-down is way stronger than the top (non-existent for me) and middle notes; longevity isn't that amazing, once original notes fly off after maybe 10-15 min at most, it all goes down to the base note so i need to re-apply every few minutes till i just give up and apply smn else. overall, it's really nice... just nice

I bought a bottle of this because i had the impression that it smells clean like a good shampoo. Now it smells to me like roses! More like faded roses, in autumn... Not a bad perfume, but not adorable. It`s somehow severe, it makes me feel like an old school teacher, when I`m wearing it.

fresh juicy.there is a kind of peppery note in it for my nose, a little saharpnes . i can verywell detect the flowers and the peach . the other notes i have to chek in here.
at first when i spritz it one it is very Alcoholic..
thi to me is nice . but not all that ..
many better out there in my opinion.
if i should say it reminds me of some other perfume i would say Bright Crystal . but they are not That much a like . just a similar tone to it

I dont like at all this scent....I dont know what note it is, , maybe red berries or ylang-ylang...that is a very dry scent, like tobacco and i dont like nothing at all. One of my worst purchases that ive done....

I have gotten so many compliments on this when I wear it! It is sensational and has great staying power on me...its like being enveloped in your own tasty perfume cloud and enraptured by happiness. I love Guess, and it agrees well with me. Not suitable for everyone though.

I love this!!! My second perfume and on my second bottle or 3rd? oh well but it does stay on all day. be sure to spray it into your hair and on your collarbone/ shirt. You will smell it the next day on your shirt. It really lasts. Very alcoholy when you first open your bottle so air yourself or be in a well ventilated area. :) Perfect in fall/winter when you snuggle your clothes. :D

Smells like fresh laundry, and I also get a beautiful rose!

well, i was surprised there were no rose in the notes,cause on me i smell rose,a fresh one! So ,magnolia,peony,fresia does make that scent! Peony more fresh,magnolia more powdery ,fresia a bit sweet. Maybe get some peach but a little.i just get a soft,fresh,sweet,powdery,pink rose! Love it! Jeans,t -shirt smell! Day,summer,anytime you feel sweet rose! Love it!

Ok , I am just now getting a whiff of this elixir although its been around a while. I got it super cheap after spraying on my wrist in TJ Maxx and I couldnt leave it behind. I'm not usually a lover of sweet , fruity fragrances but OH wow I love this. Its really freaky though how similiar it is to D&G's The One. In fact I sprayed The One on my left wrist and then Guess on the other and could not tell the difference. Theres also something in it that is eerily familiar and I think it is Jessica McClintock which I wore WAY back in the day. Guess is a very well behaved , demure young lady biting into a granny smith apple ! So fresh !

Such a Delightful fragrance, If Juicy fruit the gum were a fragrance this would be it. My take is that you do have to be into perky girly sweet scents to be a sucker for this baby!, very appropriate for the young or the young at heart. It is a must have fragrance on my vanity although the packaging could have been cuter!

What a vague little scent. I have unscented hand creams with more oomph in them than this pale, faintly fruity bath water.

I have had to occupy my thoughts with more interesting notions of exactly what Maurice Rocuel was thinking or feeling when this was made. My best *guess* is that he was in the bath, depressed, probably drunk, pondering the implications of yet another design house wasting his considerable talents on a new brief for yet another fruity floral. This is his revenge.

This is one of my ULTIMATE favorite Fragrances, This formula really agrees with my body chemistry so it's lasting power is phenomenal,, I get so many compliments countless times. One of my Favs. for sure love love love it!

Very alchol-y. I dab this one otherwise the alchol overtakes the scent.

Pleasant fruity floral, sweet but also fresh and clean...not ground breaking or original or anything like that...just nice and safe and pretty. It's a little flat because the notes are blended so well together, but on the plus side, it would be hard to come across anyone who'd find this scent offensive in any way. Good for every day wear, great for teens and young women. Lasting power is not great but not bad either.

Guess for women starts like sweet fruit pulp with a little bit freshness, which is a nice fresh opening.

Soon after that I can smell a lot of patchouli-like smell lingering around some fainted floral sweetness, sweet, earth, combined with the former sweet fruit pulp scent, and a pinch of pepper. After half an hour, it smells calmer and the pepper is much less fiery. Sweet dusty and a little bit watered-down flowers and fruit pulp is what I can smell at this stage(after one hour). Some nice woody notes comes and goes, which gives this perfume a little bit depth.

The drydown smells like sugar diluted in water, I don’t mind it and somehow find this is the nicest stage of the perfume, but to be honest, I don’t like the way getting there.
Personally I find Guess for women a little bit too flat with weird edges that doesn’t make me feel comfortable.

I like this,it is a sexy fragrance,with a touch of sweetness.I can smell the berry notes the most with the bergamot,and the strawberry makes the sweet and sexyness of this fragrance.But,there is one downer,it smells too strong of alchohol,I prefer smelling my wrist during the drydown.The lasting power is alright.

It's not similar to guess gold this one has a peppery sweet smell and to me it lasts all day. Guess gold is a thick peppery weird smell I don't like gold at all.

Judging from the notes, I would be expecting something very fruity but actually it's not. Still, it's a very charming, rather unusual perfume. Fresh, with a hint of something that resembles metal to me a bit, but it's a pleasant smell. Also elegant and unoffensive. It's not very popular, I find it a good thing - not many women will smell as nice as you!

Pinklily, I have both and Guess is completely different than Guess Gold. Guess gold is heavier, richer, and leans towards gourmand, Guess is a light rosy floral. Hope that helps!

My ex gave me this as my birthday present and i really love it. It gives me a feel of feminine and ladylike every time i have used it, and the price of it is so reasonable =)

i used to consider that perfume as a NOTHING special perfume i used to spray it from time to time and i dunt knew , i cant get any thing special on my nose , just fresh perfume but nothing special.., until 2 days ago i had a friend and she spreed it on her when she entered the room, and woow its the 1st time i smell it on some other gurl, and i re-discovering that perfume, how nice,feminine,refreshing,sweet,powdery that perfume..!!
its AMAZING, really sooo nice with the floral note but not over powering at all, its a floral note that makes u smell at once ,so gurly,elegant,tender and suitable for all occasions its perfume for modern gurl

I got a really great deal on a bottle of this, so I couldn't resist! When I first sprayed it, I thought "uh-oh" because it smelled mostly floral to me, and I'm not big on floral scents. However, it did settle down quite quickly and I really liked it. My boyfriend also said he thought it smelled nice. I think it is feminine and fairly sweet, but not in a sickeningly sweet way. It is light, but now powdery. I think it is a great everyday scent. By the way, I layered it with a body lotion that is called "sugar cane" (it's made by body drench) and I think that helped to tame down the floral scent some. I think, for the price, it's a great, soft feminine everyday scent! Plus, I love that the bottle is cool and the top AND bottom can come off, an it comes with a little suede type bag to hold the bottle in! What a deal, gotta love that ;)

Perfume for the young at heart. It is a morning scent. It reminds me of Paris Hilton Just Me. Not a strong perfume. Can be worn with casual clothes. Certainly fruity, a bit lemony with some floral notes in it. I bought the tester so I would say it is worth the price.

Fresh, fruity, delicate and feminine for young woman and teenagers. I can smell berry and what i love of course vanilla and musk at the end. Not a unique one but still worth every penny.

I smelled this perfume when a girl in one of my classes walked by, and I fell in love with it! I knew I had to have it, so I asked her what kind of perfume she was wearing. She said it was Guess. :) It's not the kind of scent I usually go for--I usually like tarty fruit smells. This one is a lot softer, but I really love it. And true, it's not the most unique fragrance out there, but who cares? It smells lovely. I'm going to buy it as soon as I can!

I like this one very much, I just bought it, It is so nice on me, very refreshing and elegant smell. It is on my top list. two thumbs up!

Very pretty, sweet , light and refreshing...almost euphoric. So shy and secretive, like first love in an innocent heart. The lasting power is not the best, but that is due, I suppose to the fruity top notes...if the basenotes were stronger, it would change the opening and it opens in applause!

This is a gorgous scent also. Not my top ten signature scents but a beautiful scent. It smells alot like Happy by Clinique although not identical. Very sweet floral though. Not a long staying scent after application either, that is one of the reasons I abandon waring this scent along with Guess by Marciano. I want the staying power.

Very Suitable For People Who Like Light,Refreshing and Sweet kinda perfume.. Highly Recommendand for hot weather/summer as the notes details perfectly blended to linger to skin and make it beautifully wearable..

I like this perfume, not my fav, not very original but it is a nice sent... it is really young and girly.

Nothimg special at all. Sweet and young. Much peach and apricot, a bit syntetic and not in my taste. It has nothing in it that makes me wanna sniff my wrists.

I tried it once in the winter & I didn't think it was remarkable.
Now, we're in Summer :) And, I honestly can't say which one I love more ( Guess or Guess Gold)!!
* This one is delicious & feminine!! Fruity floral , but not too fruity or sweet.. just perfect!!
* Guess Gold: is more for colder weather.. it's soooo sexy & you'll never wear it without getting tons of compliments!!:)

Strong beginning for about 1 minute. Then it turns into a soft fresh creamy fruity floral. Nice and tender! but I like the gold one a little more.

The fragrance is very light v extraordinary beginning. This a very beautiful scent and the bottle is very nice.

my friend wears this lovely perfume, and at first sniff, it gave me some sort of sweet taste of happiness mix with the a total freshness of summer. It is a sweet, fruity smell perfume, but it is wearable in every occassion, because my friend really loves it and this is her second bottle and she wears it almost in every occassion. I guess it would be my next buy, really worth to try!!

I love this fragrance. It has such a beautiful beginning and an wonderful ending, it smells clean and rather natural. I did not expect this from a company that promotes the wardrobe of a bimbo girl.

it's a very nice floral fruity.very juicy,fresh and somehow sour smelling.
green apple makes it smell sour,but it's still very nice.I can recognize magnolia and red berries too.
most of floral fruity fragrances will admit that it's very good in her own group.
the smelling doesn't change through the time.so you can trust on the first sniff.
it's not warm.so it would be great for summer or spring.even the price is good about this fragrance.

A delicate feminine scent. The strawberry opening is just so... yummi. It's not exactly my cup of tea but I love sniffing it on my best friend. By the way, the description above is about Versus Time and not Guess.

It is very pungent for me, yet it works very well for my chemistry. I recieve many compliments from wearing, so I keep it in my collection.

The Green Apple and Peach compete with each other for attention, yet the cedar and oakmoss tend to calm down the very bold affect that happens at first. Although it is not my favorite, it does spark comments of pleasure amongst my peers. Therefore it is a keeper!

my sister has this fragrance. It's interesting how each note surfaces the more you keep smellin it. I love the citrus in it, how the base notes give it balance.

I just received a sample and decided it is a safe, but very pretty scent for day. It is nice, and would be good for a young girl.

fresh and delicate scent for a young woman or a girl, but not very distinctive. discreet.

Smells like Vera Wang's Princess. It is very wearable although not really original.
