I received a sample of this and the initial opening was citrusy and fresh, similar to my favourite eau de rochas but warmer than this and not quite so sharp. Then after about half an hour it mellowed into a slightly masculine smelling aftershave scent on my skin, which spoiled it for me. Although, I love the beginning and wish it could stay like that!
