Cashmere Musk Illuminum for women and men

When I think about green florals with a big hyacinth note, what immediatly comes to mind is Le Temps D'Une Fete and Paco Rabanne's Metal or, for other aspects, Chamade. Cashmere Musk shares with the aforementioned fragrances a huge green floral presence but, unfortunately lacks all the rest. Mediocre.

Cashmere Musk is a fresh, clean green floral scent with a smooth, slightly warm edge to it. It's soapy, simple, modern, comfortable, and it smells expensive.

I smell a lot of hyacinth from start to finish. It opens with hyacinth with a clean musk undertone, and some warm coconut, which gives it a rather sweet/warm/tropical feeling in the begining. But still, this is one of the cleanest fragrance I've come across -it has that strong just-got-out-of-shower vibe that you just can't ignore.

After a while it gets more and more soapy, but never sharp or screeching. The sweet coconut is more subdued but still there, with hyacinth and musk more and more prominent. I don't smell amber or anything heavy or dirty. This scent is just very green-ish soapy clean.

I'd place Cashmere Musk in the 'extremely versatile' category of scents. You can wear it on the hottest days of summer or the freezing winter. It's out-of-the-shower clean without being citrusy, aquatic or cold.

To me this gives the image of clean skin after a warm bath when the bathroom is still warm and steamy, and you're surrounded by a lot of green tropical plants. You're in a secluded resort and it's a quiet summer night, and now you're going to just lie down on a blanket and look at the stars, relaxing in the warm breeze.
