Unique edition L`Eau d`Issey Extract Edition Shiro Kuramata was presented in a limited series of 2500 bottles, which contain perfume extract of one of the most popular editions by the house, L`Eau d`Issey in amount of 20ml (0.67 fl.oz).

A combination of lotus and rose in this edition unites cultures and traditions of East and West, creating a harmonic and intangible relationship.

L`Eau d`Issey in its purest and the most powerful shape opens a new page of story by the house of Issey Miyake, paying special attention to artistic details and symbolizing a union of two basic forms – cube and ball.

Design of outer carton was inspired by Terrazzo graphic motifs by artist Shiro Kuramata. The way the outer carton opens symbolizes design improvement in an elegant and contemporary design, and adds more grace and beauty to the bottle. By alluding at purity, freshness and naturalness, this fragrance has stayed one of the most wanted editions with floral-woody composition for years.

Shiro Kuramata worked on design of the perfect bottle, at request of the house of Issey Miyake in 1990. One of his artistic drawings was not used till now, to create a perfect water drop made with help of the new laser technology, by creating perfectly smooth shapes of sphere and cube. The luxury holiday edition, available in a limited amount of 2500 numbered bottles was introduced in November 2008, in honour of the designer and artist.
