An interesting collection by the house of Jacomo was introduced as an intimate conversation between fragrance and artist presented as fragrant museum painted with paintings and compositions. The Art Collection by Jacomo includes three fragrances #02, #08 and #09 created in cooperation with Cecilia Carlstedt, Daniel Egneus and Stina Persson, three artists invited to paint outer cartons and to express fragrant compositions of the trilogy through pictures.
#09 the most Colourful fragrance of Art collection by Jacomo, illustrated by Stina Persson
Jacomo #09 is painted by Stina Persson who enriched it with strong red and orange nuances which highlight its luscious notes. Opening of the composition is refreshed by lemon zest, orange pulp and red berries. A heart includes a gourmand blend of praline and fruity aromas of mango, while a base closes with cinnamon, vanilla and sandalwood. The flacon is decorated with black and orange and can be found as 50 and 100 ml EDP. Art Collection by Jacomo #09 was launched in 2010.

Strong sweet feminine smell, haven't smelt anything like it for a long time!
It's a very unusual scent. Bit masculine to my nose, but definitelly beautiful. My partner who hates perfumes in general really likes it. Staying power is unfortunatelly not great on my skin.
First of all, thank you to Sky76Sky for letting me try the jacomo art series, 2 of the 3 are now on my want list :)
This is my favourite from the series.
A creamy, almost edible mango scent to begin with.
Like a bowl of freshly sliced mango covered in whipped cream, sprinkled with sultanas and raisins to give it a slightly spicy kick.
The praline adds a smooth, melt in your mouth quality, teased by a slight hint of cinnamon, with a side order of fresh red berries :)
Upon dry-down, the above description remains, but i am now getting a slight masculine cologne scent emanating from my pulse points, which i might add, is rather nice.
I think that might be due, in part, to the lemon and sandalwood combo.
It reminds me very much of a glade candle i have which is apparantly scented with honey and chocolate, with a slight 'cologne' edge to it (makes the house smell divine)
All in, a superb, lightly spiced, fruity-gourmand scent
suitable for almost any occasion.

Just have to add: It's fruity without the floral; it's spicy without the oriental theme; it has florals, but they are just adding a twist; there are smokey-woods - but it isn't to my nose woody!
And the mango is THE star in this! I'm in heaven! A fragrance that's finally constructed to let the mango be something more than "just" a fruit!
Gorgeous, yummy, but not really gourmand; strange but most wearable - made for all seasons but will surely be superb in summer!
LOVE LOVE LOVE and what I find most intruiging: you can smell the praline, the juicy fruits of the top, the woods and spicy-cream (like from cake)- and everywhere and alltime the MANGO - but it just sums up as a whole!
It wafts around and with you - and I feel young, but with an edge, uncomplicated but with a witty twist - and most comfortable and still interesting!
Thanks Jacomo! So very much!
No.8 for winter and autumn(maybe) and No.2 for the other two! Well done!
Oh my World!
What a unique juice Jacomo Art 9 is!
I swear that for the first 2 minutes it smells like essential pine oil!
After that, I can smell woody-spicy-fruity notes which is quite an unusual mixture. I never came accrosc fruity fragrances with so much spice and such a distinctive woodsy note :-)
It is indeed a weird (in a positive way!) fragrance with good sillage and lasting power.
I have acquired recently 2 bottles and I could swap one of these if anyone is interested!
I do not smell any praline in it, just woods, spices and a hint of fruit...
How bizzare! Notes suggest a fruity cocktail but there is very little fruitiness.
No9 is quite serious, great for office or formal wear.
A great thing is that it is quite rare and I have never smelled it on anyone else!
Well worth trying! A must have for woody-spicy lovers!
Spicy, creamy, smokey dark fruity smell. I absolutely love it. The slight sweetness of the fruit blends perfectly with the spicy smokey notes. It has good staying power and I can still smell it after 5 hours.I will be trying the other fragrances in this collection.
Art Collection #09 is my least favorite of the three Jacomo Art Collection scents. Please note that I still have it in my Want list and I've given it a good strong "like." I think it's the most commercial and least interesting of the three, but it still has a lot going for it.
Sunny citrus and mango are the dominant top notes. They're nice, true, juicy and not too sweet. More natural fruit than candied fruit. They yield to a brief phase where the praline is noticeable, but please don't write this one off as a fruity floral or gourmand. After the praline, and true to form with all the Jacomo scents I have tried, comes a lovely dry-down that lingers for a good five to six hours on my skin.
And guess what? It smells remarkably like Bvlgari's Jasmin Noir. :-) Lots of sandalwood. A little spice. Not so much vanilla. It's an unexpected twist that gives the scent depth and complexity. Very pretty overall.
Beautiful mango fragrance... so lovely, spicy and sweet. i'm inlove with this one. very very good!! not a cheap scent at al..
