L.A. Glow is a feminine and sexy cocktail of juicy fruits and sensual flowers, wrapped in creamy amber that evokes the warmth of LA nights. Top notes are a hot combination of cherry, plum and blackberry. The heart contains seductive essences of jasmine, peony and magnolia, while the perfume base represents a glamorous blend of musk, amber and tropical cream.
The bottle kept the original form with smooth curves and elongated neck, this time painted in sparkling disco mix of pink and purple. A wearable cocktail ring adorns the bottle collar, perfect for your night out.

I like this, starts out with fresh juicy berries. As it dries down, the florals come through. Very pleasant and great for everyday use. I love the ombre effect on the bottle, very pretty.
I have Jlo miami glow and love that then i had a smell of this one, Wow its lovely, very sweet fruity with a sexy deepness to it. It's very moreish and has a very holiday feel.
I got LA Glow, Still and Live from Marshalls yesterday (and my bottle of LA Glow did not have the disco ball charm on it. No big deal, but WTH right?) When I first spray LA Glow I get sour berries, kind of like a blue colored sour candy. It's not very sweet and it's kind of crisp. About 5 minutes after wearing it the soapiness sets in and I get a sour berry soap thing going on. At first I was a little unsure about this one, because it just seemed kind of tart and synthetic. On me this isn't very good for the first maybe 45 minutes to an hour (but neither were the other 2 Jlo's I picked up)But then last night after wearing it for a good while something interesting happened... I kept getting whiffs of something really pretty and I realized it was me! When this settles down it becomes soft and sweet (but not choke you sweet) I don't get much floral, I think I get a soft musky berry and maybe vanilla or amber. Now, to be fair when I bought these to try out I did spray Live on one arm and LA Glow on the other and after they both settled the wafts I got from them playing off each other was surprisingly fun.
Picked this up from tj max this weekend and i love it. very fruity and musky.
So gorgeous and edible! Summery, fruity scent. People say its similar to midnight fantasy. I can see their angle, but it does smell very different
I just bought this fragrance a few days ago and I'm loving it!
I smelt it a few months ago and knew I eventfully wanted to get it.
When you first spray it, you get a punchy burst of berries & something a little bit zesty, I even thought I smelt grapefruit at first. But once it's dries down and the big plum smell has settled, it makes way for a more clean floral scent. The dry down reminds me of the original Glow, so I'm glad there is still resemblance of it in LA Glow.
All of JLo's fragrances are known for having her signature soapy smell, and I definitely detect a fresh, out of the shower-like feel from this. It does go quite musky toward the end. But overall, I'd say it's a prefect nighttime scent that states it's presence without being loud. It's light & summery with a slightly sensual vibe. Not very unique but nice, nonetheless.
This perfume is insanely fruity! Most of the time all I smell is oranges from it though, nothing else! I bought it for my graduation a couple years ago, and just found it again. (I have a ton of perfumes and body sprays..) I really like it, but I just wish there was something I could smell other than oranges. Insanely sweet oranges. haha
colorblindlove NO the perfume does not smell plastic at all, only fruity, but i have experienced the same thing with christina aguilera by night body lotion,it smells exactly like plastic, maybe its something with body lotions...
I tried the lotion for this at TJMAXX and it smelled nice except for the fact that it smelled plasticky?! Does the perfume smell plasticky??
this is how a perfume should smell, alot of character strong-but not to heavy scent. i love it,
it smells like berries, sweet and fruity. my favourite of jennifer lopez perfumes.
OOooh lots of purpleness! I was drawn to this like a magpie.
So, this perfume opens with a whole lot of juicy purpley (is that a word?) berry notes. The florals are behind but not so prominent(yet). I would say the blackberry and plum are the main things when it's first sprayed. It also has a slight tropical vibe, in the base similar to what I find in Miami Glow. But this is more tart and berry while that was a bit smoother and more coconutty.
The dry down sees a massive change in the perfume, the berries/fruit notes move to the back and this turns into a much more floral perfume, I love perfumes that morph like that. You will leave the house smelling like berries and return smelling like flowers.
The magnolia and jasmine are very prominent with undertones of tropicalness when it's drier on the skin. :)
This perfume lasts quite well on me (About 6 hours)...and has a fair projection
Frome berries to flowers in one swoosh!
At first the ring is nice just as a bottle decoration, but its really good looking on it. Im little disappointed about this fragrance. I expected more. Its nice warm sweet smell, not too heavy. I can smell cherry but thats all, there is no mystery in it, no more to discover. I love original glow because its different and smell luxyrious, this glow is good but nothing special to me. I saw a lot of reviews talking about this scent and Britney Mindnight fantasy, I would deffinetly buy Britney !
Guapa!
I love the scent and the ring you get is sooooo cute!
Sour opening that reminds me of Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy, its like I got whacked with a bush of cherries and blackberries. It becomes sorta creamy though after the drydown with a hint of magnolia and the amber warms it up! I like the drydown, not the opening! Tis a nice fragrance for a night on the town :)
This is a sweet delicious berry perfume. It is perfect for Summer nights! On my skin it is like mixed red and blackberries were dipped in coconut milk. I get pretty good lasting power out of it too. It is one of my favorites from JLO! Delicious!!!!!!!
Dark and yummy fruity floral fragrance.
I like this fragrance only in the beginning, when I mostly feel the blackberry and the cherry notes. They smell yummy enough.
Unfortunately, it doesn't last for a long time. And I start to feel only their undertones and their sourness plus the peony and especially the musk note.
I would say that I like the idea, but I don't like the result. I like many notes in the fragrance pyramid, but I can hardly enjoy them. All I get in the end is simply enough and annoying sweet sourness. The lasting power is not great at all. And it really reminds Midnight Fantasy by Britney Spears, but luckily it reminds less a chewing gum and smells less childish.
Maybe the best of J Lo's fragrances by far and I guess... the last fragrance in my perfume wardrobe by celebrities, because I'm too disappointed in quality of perfumes by them.
I picked this up when I was in Toronto visiting my sister. Back then I could not find in the US anywhere. At first I liked it, but it's kind of boring to me. It's like one of those scents you reach for when you can't decide what to wear. When I wear this I don't get any compliments. Probably will add to my collection of ones to sell on ebay. I tend to prefer perfumes that make a statement or people say "wow you smell good, what are you wearing" It seems the only perfumes I get that reaction with out of my collection is Jessica Simpson Fancy Love, Chanel Coco M, and Ralph Lauren Light Blue. So far the only ones that ever get noticed..in a good way!

Hello from new zealand!
i have this scent and i like it, but i get a huge citrus presence especially i colder seasons and during the summer i get a cotton candy smell, i still like it however i do recommend you use this perfume sparingly as it can be bold. just a slight imbalance of those citrussy notes im getting from this otherwise it would be great!
i think the bottle best describes the woman to carry off this scent. she's glamourous bold, light on the surface and then assertive. she has a presence and people scanning the scene will notice her!
i like the fragrance. yes, somehow there are similarities with midnight fantasy according to the berry notes, nevertheless it is still different. this one is (at least on my skin) less sweet and definitely more tropical. i also get a coconut note even if it does not contain any. i think it is a nice berry-summer fragrance. the lasting power is really good, also the sillage. it is not very extraordinary, but i got this for little money, so it was definitely worth buying.
I bought this based on reviews here saying it smells similar to Midnight Fantasy.
This starts off as a very artificial tropical-berry scent, more of a sour berry than a sweet berry. Kinda soapy in my opinion. It smells nothing like MF at the start.
However, after sometime when it has settled down, the middle and base notes start to come out, making LA Glow smell much more sweet and comforting. Yes now it starts to smell a little like MF. I could detect the similar dark sweet berries that were present in MF. At this point, it still smells a little soapy and sour, but not as much as before.
Sillage is alright, lasts about 5 hours on me.
I still prefer Midnight Fantasy over LA Glow. MF lasts the whole day and it just smells SO good. There is nothing exceptionally unique about LA Glow. I would not repurchase this after finishing my 100ml bottle.
Also, the ring that comes with this is too big and chunky. In my case, some of the pink jewels on the ring fell out even before i opened the box. I could hear the loose jewel pieces rattling around in the box on the way home lol.
I really wanted to like this. Its such a pity cause the dark purple bottle looks so pretty!
Sorry J Lo, i guess i'll just stick to Midnight Fantasy. You can't go wrong with MF. :)
It is an artificial smelling fragrance, It definitively isnt one you NEED to have, but its alright.Doesnt smell anything special,it is alright I blind bought this for $20 bucks at Sears and if I would have tested this beforehand I wouldnt have purchased.
I can really smell the blackberry, plum and Cherry! I do not get any of the floral notes. Just Fruit!
I've been trying to come to terms with L.A. Glow but, despite its likeable ingredients, the scent just turns somewhat sour and soapy on my skin and fades away quickly. Besides, I find it a bit too artificial and generic to add this piece of JLo range among my favourites. Escada for example handles this sweet floral fruity -section way much better IMO so for me L.A. Glow was a bit of a disappointment; we just did not click, unfortunately..
tropical smell, but for the night
musky fresh berries:) it has that same ingredients as miami glow much toned down thou, strong plastic/metallic smell. It took me 3rd wear to stop linking it with miami glow which i dislike. this one lasts about 30 mins. and then becomes a very nice fresh fruity floral. I thought it lasted 3-4 hours but friends of mine can smell it half a day at least.; and off course I cake it on,lol
Amazing fragrance! The best from Jlo in my book. For the first time ever i can actually detect all the top notes of a fragrance. For this for me blackberry stands out the most. In a way it does kinda remind me of Britney's Midnight Fantasy but MF for some reason was kinda blah for me (not saying its a bad fragrance its just that its been out for a very long time and it kinda bores me) LA Glow is more spicy and not sickening sweet. I find it has perfect balance of fruity and sweetness .. nothing over powers. As for the lasting power i would say okay not amazing. Over all just a simple yet very classy scent! Just thinking of it gives me chills!! Good job Jennifer!
To Britney_Spears
I am very pleased to hear she is going in a different direction. Looks like you hear a lot more about her where you live. In Australia we get the perfumes but Not a lot is said about her in advertisements. I too love Jen and I have her albums and videos I would like to buy some of her clothing range too. I just was wanting her to try something really creative because any celebrity can release a tropical perfume and I think she has more substance and creative ability than some celebs. Obviously she has been around a long time where others have stuggled. I do have to say though I have experienced poor staying power with her latest couple of perfumes and I don't know why. Her perfumes always had the better staying power compared to some celebs. I have the glamorous one and it just will not stay on. I like the smell of all of her perfumes but want to see her go in a different direction because also she is getting older she is not as young as she used to be so it would be nice to see her design something a little more complex. It was a shame to see she broke up with her hubby too she just can't get a break with guys it seems. Keep loving Jen I do too!!
Sweet, musky and a little sour, the red berries notes are very noticeable on this one. Very good for going out at a night. One of the bests from the Glow line and the staying power is good, but it is well projected in high temperatures, like the other glows (probably because it is an Eau de Toilette). Who likes Midnight Fantasy from Britney will like this one.
I like JLO and I fear she has lost the plot. When she first released perfume it was different and good quality for a celeb scent. Most people liked it and I can remember girls I knew saying Have you smelt the new JLO fragrance it is really nice. Now, it is just one perfume after another and they are all tropical and beachy but nothing really to take that next step. There is nothing wrong with tropical perfume but I think she really needs to try to do something a little more progressive now I know her fans could handle it. Maybe she just doesn't like perfume smell she prefers a shampoo, shower type of smell so that could reflect her decisions with the chemists when they are designing it for her. I just wish she would do something a little different because I fear she is just going to bore everyone soon. This LA Glow is nice it's not a bad perfume but it just smells like a billion other berry themed perfumes. And the lasting power is getting worse and worse as she releases more perfumes. I am not sure what is going on there it's just my experience with her perfumes maybe most other people really like them?
On my skin L.A. Glow isn't as sweet as on most reviewers in here. It's more bitter than sweet. Dark berries are mixed with heavy musk. The floral notes never really come out.
I wish that the fruity notes were more delicious and juicy but actually they are heavy and bitter. Again, I'm disappointed in J.Lo. Britney's Midnight Fantasy is much more delicious than this and these two are very hard to compare in my opinion.
very sweet (but not in a good way). smells too much like koolaid. lasting power is about an hour or so on me. i think the bottle is cute, but the juice is too fake and synthetic.
This is really just another riff on Miami Glow or Sunkissed Glow, all juicy tropical fruits and flowers. That said, it smells fantastic and is well done if you like those fruity fragrances. The bottle's one of the best Glow flankers I think.
I have never like any Jlo fragrance.. but this one i love.. to me .. Yes it does smell a bit like Midnight fantasy.. but much better.. on my skin its not sickly sweet like MF .. its much spicier..its a very dark fragrance ..i can really smell the berries.. and somewhere i get a hint of floral..but not a lot.. the only complain i have about this fragrance is the lasting power.. its a bit short..but i can live with that!
I had a 20ml sample of it and really found it hard to test it through. It's very strong, very tropical, but with time it's almost nauseating strong.
es muy parecido al Fantasy de Britney Spears. Muy dulce, muy dulce. Debe durar mucho, lo probe pero no me anime a comprarlo porque es muy dulce.
It's similar to other flankers, but more sour... tropical type which I like to be honest,but... well there are too much of them lately which makes it generic. At least it doesn't smell cheap, it's a really nice thing that none of her frags smell cheap. I quite don't even know how to describe it since I'm getting tired of typing same thing all over again. I might have been excited with it if I was 16 again xD
Oh God... i don't expect i'll get it this soon. I buy it online from US, i live in Indonesia. And it arrives to my home in 1 month, with free shipping, thank You Jesus... I really love this one, it's very J.Lo, very glamour, n sexy... Please make some glow flankers more, J.Lo... i hope u make 2 more in 2011 :D
I'm getting rather tired of seeing so many different Glow bottles these days, as I often crave a new celebrity release that isn't a never-ending continuation of flanker after flanker. L.A. Glow was something I didn't expect to like, however I find it pleasing to say the least. A fruity floral that tends to be quite well done.
The fruits in L.A. Glow are quite rich and dark. A scent that reminds me of Escada's Moon Sparkle. It has a very intense yet sweet blend of berries and plum, that for some reason makes me think that it's best worn as a night-time fragrance.
Although very sweet and jam-like, L.A. Glow is not distasteful. I'll admit that I've grown out of scents such as this, but I must say I was quite captivated by the way it smelt. It wasn't anywhere near as cheap as I thought it would smell, and it's actually quite sexy.
L.A. Glow in my opinion, is essentially designed to be worn in a nightclub and partying atmosphere. It doesn't strike me as being anything too casual or too subtle. It will most likely appeal to young women for that exact purpose.
Jennifer Lopez fragrances tend to have their ups and downs. Because this fragrance wasn't promoted as much as her previous scents were, I was a little dubious. But despite the lack of promotion I do think this fragrance will sell extremely well.
All i'm going to say is juicy fruits, thats all i can smell, but in a good way, cos i think its an amazing perfume to wear! x
I tried this on my skin, it smelt so nice, really fruity and berryish.
It smelt light, but it only lasted an hour or two on me.
Thats the only down side though, im going to buy this!
I used to love the jlo perfumes but to be honest I am so sick of the tropical theme. Can't she come up with a sophisticated perfume that can be taken a little more serious it just smells like bath products after a while I get sick of trying them. When this one came out I tried it but again it is just tropical, tropical and more tropical lets move on Jlo!!
LA... Sunkissed... Miami...
It's all the same fragrance, with substitutions here and there...
Miami smells way too strong and cheap, i don't like it on anyone including myself.
Sunkissed is like Miami but a little more subtle, has more of a floral note to it. And i really don't mind this for summer. It's a better version of Miami.
L.A - it's a revised Sunkissed glow, more subtle again... more berry... the floral is really well balanced, you don't get the plastic floral notes...it's really not bad but it smells so similar to Sunkissed... so i wouldnt bother... but if you dont own any of the three, this is probs the best. Don't fall for Miami... it smells good at the start, then it just smells cheap and way to in your face. it never develops on the skin, just smells like a big loud mango.
LA GLOW is rich with plum notes on first application, so if you don't like plum you can skip this fragrance. After a few minutes the blackberry and cherry develops, and mingles with the plum; however the plum is still the key note. I love perfumes which contain cherry so I was a bit disappointed to find that the cherry is the weakest note on me
What really separates this edition from the earlier ones in the Glow line is that the floral notes are more fully developed and aren't 'powdery' or plastic. On me the jasmine is definitely the strongest note, followed by the peony. I couldn't separate the magnolia though. In addition to the florals there is also some lingering plum, as well as a hint of the coconut milk ['tropical cream] seeping up from the base.
As the florals burn down the coconut milk accord fully develops and becomes richer, sweeter and creamier thanks to the amber. I can detect the lightest hint of musk, but it's quickly lost underneath the creaminess.
As this is an EDT I didn't expect miracles and I was right not to: I can still detect creamy vanilla three to four hours after first applying it, but it's only a hint and is very close to the skin - It goes close to the skin as a whole in little over two hours.
As this is light, sweet and juicy it seems like a playful fragrance. I think that this is nice for daywear - both 'me' time and work. Some people may think that it's too sweet for work, but as it's quiet it won't bother over people, so I don't see why you shouldn't wear it if you like it. However I do think it's too 'gentle' for evening wear, or any other time that you do want to be noticed.
When I first heard about this edition I thought that it wouldn't appeal to me in this weather - I mean fruits and coconuts in autumn/winter? But the plums make the fragrance is rich and dark, which paired with the creamy base makes for the perfect autumn/winter fragrance. It'll be interesting to see how this wears during spring/summer - The base may be too heavy, but as the EDT is so light it could still be very wearable.
I do still really like the original Glow, but the increasing number of flankers became too similar to each other and the line began to bore me. She has won me [and my purse] back again. LA GLOW bares no resemblance to either the original or the earlier flankers; The florals are fuller and more natural and the fruits are juicy and lifelike.
A definite step up, although I'm not sure why they didn't just release it as a new fragrance rather than just attaching the Glow name to it.
If you liked the rich plum notes in Midnight Fantasy, then you should enjoy this.
i love this perfume! its smells delicious- very sweet and fruity! the cocktail ring is really big and gaudy, i dont think anyone would actually wear it but it looks great on the bottle!
Jennifer had kinda lost me with her two previous launches, My Glow and Blue Glow, but she's BACK in full force this year with L.A Glow and Love and Glamour. L.A Glow starts off really sweet like Cotton Candy and berries. It stays that way for about maybe 10 minutes and the cotton candy kinda fades and you're left with just fruity berries. I can't wait to get this! Thanks ILLLLOOVEEEPERFUME for sending me your bottles to test!
ho hum...same old fruity berry stuff....i like bath and body DARK KISS ..WAY BETTER...THIS IS A CHEAP VERSION...great for a teen young girl!...This will be at walgreens soon....so that says a whole lot about quick market scents!jlo give it a break, come up with some real classy make a statement perfume...cause this is not doing that....its just so boring..!
la glow is extremely sweet and tropical -like the escada scents. It reminds me of miami glow with a twist of dark berries.
