Love and Light Jennifer Lopez for women

I love this perfume!It smells expensive...
At first is quite spicy but later it dries down to a luxurious, expensive soap. It's classy!
I feel this one should be the one called 'Love and glamour' :)

Because she's releasing so many fragrances they're starting to smell all similar lack of originality no pizazz boring tamed patchouli with hints of sweet undertones (Praline) very underwhelming 3/10

Deseo is the jungely-tropical version of this one. This one is more diva-like. I don't get it, the notes are not the same at all, but they are very similar!

Very soft....like a relaxed version of Deseo.

Sparkling, fresh, warm, reminds me of sandy beaches

Loving this scent. I can smell some chocolate, patchouli, and almost a sandalwood note. Surprised to like a JLo fragrance. It wears nicely on the skin for daytime. I find the scent unique, maybe even a bit woodsy and masculine too. Reminds my of Emporio Armani White for Her. Love!

Spicy, and not in a good way. This so wanted to be like With Love, but comes across as a man's cologne.

This smells very coconutty to me too. I think this perfume is misnamed. I don't find it light at all. I find it dark, warm, spicy, mysterious. Its very different from its counterpart, Love and Glamour. It has that coconut vibe that I think comes from a deep patchouli mixed with certain other floral notes.

I get a lot of patchouli from that one, and it is quite similar to Deseo..honestly not my favorite, Glowing is far better in quality. The drydown is nice, but it smells cheap to me.

This is definitely going to be one of my favorite J lo scents for sure :)
It a a soft creamy scent with some slight powder in the dry down.
It really reminds me of Reese Witherspoon's perfume "Love to the Fullest" which i also own.
There are a few different notes then in Reese's perfume but if you like this and can't find it then I strongly urge you to get Love to the fullest :)
There are also notes in this perfume that smell like Deseo by J lo too.
I'm a fan of most of her frangrances :)

Today i saw it on sale and decided to try.
At first i really liked it: it was such a lovely creamy vanilla, i almost felt like i was wearing a "Valentina" by Valentino. Fragile, sensuous.... Surprisingly never smelled any patchouli in the opening. I almost wanted to buy it but then approximatly after 30 minutes it started to change. Change into sour scent. When i came home i opened Fragrantica to check the notes and was surprised that there is red currant listed and no vanilla (well, praline is what i was holding for vanilla i think). At first i smelled nothing of currant. But a bit later i understood that the notes are correct: there IS a strong red currant note in it, and tehre is a pomegranate. It is starting to become less pleasant and more synthetic. Now i finally start to smell a trace of patchouli after approximatly 1 hour of wearing it and this synthetic patchouli mixed with red currant start to smell like a drydown of a man´s cologne. And i don´t wnat to smell like that! I want that creaminess back!

Undecided about this one, guess it is not suitable for autumn, but more likely for spring-summer.
Now i finally smell the similarites to "Deseo".
And it does have an amazing lasting power (next evening i can still smell it on my wrist after numerous hand washes) but sillage is almost to zero after an hour. :( I so wanted to like this.

Love and Light by Jennifer Lopez, is a very pretty scent. I think it's perfect to wear in the evening. Although, I think it can be worn all year
I would say the main notes I smell are the pomegranite, red curant, orange, musk, rose, jasimine, Patchouli. The Patchouli takes over the entire scent. So, if you don't like Patchouli, I would sample it before buying it. It also smells very musky; so it's musky mixed in with the Patchouli. I don't smell the apricot or the praline.
The bottle is gorgeous, and original.
Unfortunately, I don't think this is an original scent. When I first spritzed this, it reminded me too much of Hilary Duff's With Love, and was disappointed about that. It has the same musky, spicy scent, as With Love. Although, unlike this one, Hilary's scent has a more fruity note to it, without the Patchouli. Although, my boyfriend liked Love and Light when I wore it for the first time.

I've really had a change of heart with Love & Light! I tested it recently at Kohls and it smelled pretty dang great on me! Haha! I am definitely getting me a bottle soon! It's very warm so I won't be able to wear it until the colder times in my neck of the woods. : )

i love the bottle! It is the most beautiful shade of iridescent green,and with a clear jewel-looking cap. The packaging,with it's gold accents actually gives me a nice feeling inside. I think it smells like grapefruit,but not in an overpowering way. It smells like something a classy woman would wear. I think it's her best perfume yet.

Hated this.. horribly invasive and strong, very coconuty (the patchouli perhaps) but if you like it, you'll be glad to know I could not get this stink off me for days :D

I got mine on ebay.com not long ago, I'm in Ireland but some of them will do international shipping, mine was reasonably priced including the shipping and I got the 75ml! Other than that I don't know I don't think it's being released here in Europe, shame because it's one of my favourites and one of her best in my opinion!! Hope this helps xxx

IF DESEO MADE A BERRY INSPIRED FLANKER THIS IS PROBABLY WHAT IT WOULD SMELL LIKE

I'm a fan of Jlo fragrances coz I find them so wearable and long lasting. This is an elegant, clean and a creamy comforting scent at the same time. I love the combination of the top notes, one of the best fruity openings. The dry down is where the elegance enters. For me, it's a tiny bit similar to Avon's Far Away Dreams, only a little bit though. Their dry downs are definitely different, which is great coz I prefer Love & Light to be original somehow since I paid more for it.

I FINALLY smelled Love & Light again and I'm still not compelled to get me a bottle. I just simply don't love it like I do her others. I love the bottle and it is JLO so I might just have to give into the 1 oz bottle. I DEFINITELY don't need the big bottle. Why don't I love this one?! The notes sound SO good but it's just not working for me! Dang it! : (

This is a very well done fragrance and I was almost sold 2nite @ Kohls until it dried down smelling much like Deseo on me, too bad... Sorry Jenny!!!

I love this fragrance! A vast improvement to Love & Glamour and totally different from it. I find the lasting power excellent and there's a quality to it. I'm having a hard time describing the smell itself but i'll have a go... It's a warm, deep fragrance that blends with the skin beautifully. There's a strong musky flavour to it (my favorite part)that is nicely tempered by the addition of a sweet note, the praline i assume. I think it's the muskyness that blends into the skin so well. I find it quite different to any of her other fragrances perhaps a tad more mature. Beautiful green bottle I highly recommend this for anyone but particularly for slightly older girls than say 'Live' or even younger ones that prefer musty opium type perfumes(like I did). Although this is quite sweet I think a guy could wear it too as there is a more masculine undertone to it. I personally don't believe in gendering fragrance anyhow :0)

Love & Light is absolutely gorgeous. I was so excited when my gift set arrived in the mail today that I practically ripped open the box in pure delight. I spritzed my outer palm twice and then gave it a sniff to test it's opening. It smelled fruity and reminded me a bit of her Live Luxe fragrance. It was really clean, femininely soft with a hint of Granny Smith green apples. It was a pleasant smell but I'd hoped it would change to something else because it didn't totally rock my boat initially. However, as it continued to develop on my skin the aroma of it really began to transform. I smelled a hint of delightful fruits mixed with petals of jasmine. The drydown was absolute heaven.....Patchouli, Praline and some very sensual Musk. I'm indeed impressed with J-Lo's Love&Light. Some of its notes reminds me of somthing I've smelled before but its scent is all its own and one I find utterly beautiful and undeniably feminine. So glad with my purchase, a good buy for any lucky lady at whatever stage you are in life. Here's a list of notes, since they haven't been provided yet on the this site:

@Whit totally agree! Love and Glamour is okay but not as good as expected. However Love and Light is HUGE improvement!! At first sniff it reminded me of Marc Jacobs Lola...but it's still SO diff. Not the same at ALL. This a a very classy chic evening fragrance and glamorous just as J-Lo likes. When I dress up for an occasion, this is the perfect choice.

I tried this today at Kohls and was pleasantly surprised; I liked it so much that I bought the gift set. I was leery of this one because I wasn't a fan of Love & Glamour, but Love & Light is much better.

First of all, it does not smell like M by Mariah Carey nor does it smell like Euphoria. I own both and this smells nothing like either one. It's definitely, as a another reviewer noted, a sparkling floral-woody fragrance. It's very elegant and not too "perfumey" smelling. I can see where it could have a unisex appeal, as the dry down is warm and woodsy. It doesn't smell like anything I own, and I have a ton of frags.

I have been a huge fan of J.Lo's frags for a long time, but it seemed that in the past few years, some of her scents just didn't do anything for me. It seemed the vibrant appeal was gone. Not with this one! Thanks for another amazing frag! Way to go, J.Lo!

First, this does not smell like M, not a fan of M, big fan of this! I warily tried it at Kohls, and yes, it's really nice! The bottle is attractive as well and it stood out as I did my usual quick scan of the perfume line up (same-o, same-o, what's this?).

The pomegranate and red current provide a strong, almost citrusy opening with a "feel" of rose and jasmine in the background. It quiets quickly as the praline starts to roll in and the apricot comes out. Then gradually the apricot fades and a slightly foody praline becomes the main star for the dry down with a hint of patchouli and the other notes lightly remaining. It's a rather soft scent, but very feminine and pretty. Out of the scents from Jlo I've tried, I like this the best so far.

Oh my god, this perfume is so heavenly. I'd definitley call it a sparkling woodsy perfume.

I'm a guy, and while this has a feminine quality to it, it's still appropriate for a guy to wear it.

The pomegranate is very noticeable in the opening, and gives a sparkling, bubbly mixture that's similar to Mariah Carey's Luscious Pink, only much more powerful and exotic. It smells so beautiful. Red currant gives it a gorgeous light spice.

The fragrance stays very close to the skin, and dries down into a beautiful warm sensual musk base. It's not super long lasting, but MUCH more long lasting and powerful than Love & Glamour. The projectile is pretty good, and I'd recommend to wear it during a hot day.

It's so refreshing and crisp, like a walking margarita. I feel like there's a lime scent to the fragrance, but that's probably just the freshness of it all.

It's got a great clean feeling to it, one of the only good qualities in J.Lo's Glow, and I love that it can be considered a unisex fragrance.

Not to mention that the bottle is GORGEOUS. LOVE that shade of green.

To me this is just like Marilyn Miglin's Goddess~ sent it back.

I am in love with this fragrance. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, the "juice" within smells amazing. I highly recommend this fragrance. Its a "must have" for any Jennifer Lopez Fragrance collector.

This is my first JLo perfume and I am thinking about returning it.There's zero sillage and although I like the scent it simply doesn't last more than a few minutes.Too bad.This has a lovely sweet and musky smell that I enjoy, but its supposed to be EDP not body splash !!!

It smells a little similar to Euphoria by Calvin Klein, but only in the opening top notes. At first the strongest notes are the mandarin orange, red currant and pomegranate. Then during the dry down the most noticable note is the patchouli. This is a very deep and slightly masculine scented perfume with a lot of patchouli. The other notes are very weak and not very noticeable. This scent can be described as mysterious and earthy. The 2.5oz or 75ml bottle can only be bought now from HSN. This Fall only the 1oz or 30ml will be available in department stores.

It smells like Aquolina's Tweety with a bit more personality. Since I can't stand Tweety, as it is too synthetically sweet and cheap, I will be taking Love & Light back. The dry down is fine and probably the best part of the fragrance. The patchouli and musk do actually give it a little heat and warm. But it can't make up for the rest of it. Sorry Jen. I still love you and I LOVE the bottle. Better luck next time. : )
