Dark Sapphire Jette Joop for women

This would be my dream perfume. However I cannot find it anywhere around where I live.
This is like when I close my eyes I can see the whole universe right above me. All those galaxies and planets and stars... I have it right now and a little is left in the bottle so I cannot use it anymore. 5 stars out of 5. True beauty.

At the very first 10 seconds this scent reminds me of Salvador Dali - Laguna - and then it turn to its own way. Wonderful. No sharp or edgy notes, Less is more, spray carefully and u will smell good for several hours. Great as party-scent and also great as every-day-scent. For both young and middle-aged women, in my opinion.

De första 10 sekunderna så påminner denna om S Dali-Laguna på min hud, sen ändrar sig Dark Saphire till sin egen komposition. Jättehärlig. Lättburen, inga skarpa eller tunga doftnoter. Lite är lagom att spreja på av denna, använd lite så doftar du gott i många timmar. Suverän som både partydoft och som varje-dag-doft. Passar gammal som ung.

It reminds me of Poemé Lancome, but less complicated!

There is missing something really distinct: German Gingerbread (Lebkuchen) - a specialty during Christmas Time, and it's quite detectable throughout the middle. Which makes it in combination with the heliotrope and really soft rose almost edible. Never too sweet and as already stated quite close to skin, but this is quite gorgeous!
Not so sweet and powdery as Jette by Jette Joop in my opinion...

I blind-bought Dark Sapphire after reading some very positive reviews here on Fragrantica. I'm not disappointed with the smell actually, it's really tender and feminine, a perfect daytime wear for a lovely lady. But what I'm totally crazy about is the package!! The bottle is just gorgeous!! So far I love it more than I love the scent itself ha ha ;-)

I was starting to get tired of testing so-so new releases and, ironically, Dark Saphire was just what I needed to brighten up a bit my reviews.

There's nothing dark about it, actually. it's a clean shiny fragrance! It opens up with a lush mandarine and green leaves, slightly bitter perhaps because of the anise. A timid vanilla accord, accompained by a ligh salty heliotrope peeps in right from the start. I didn't get any rose, instead the musk gave the amplified vanillic dry down a nice thicker creaminess. The sandalwood is quite present but never takes over. All the notes are very harmoniously blended to create a moderate sillage with impressive longevity. Dark Sapphire is rather easy to wear and suitable for any occasion.

To me it bares a stunning similarity with Armani Mania - another lovable "green vanilla" with a name that's totally inadequate to the nature of the scent itself. Nevertheless it is definitely worth a try, especially given that it comes at a more afordable price.

Just today did I try the fragrance, I had the body lotion but not the perfume and this is a true winner for me! The whole Joop line is quite unique I must say! Those German designers, Joop, Jil Sander, Bogner, Escada they are really really my thing!!!

Dark Sapphire is an interesting scent. It's different to any other fragrance in my collection.

It's very subtle & lies close to the skin on me but it does last all day.

The Mandarin & Star Anise are the first scents to come out, followed by the Rose & Heliotrope. The Mandarin is not overpowering - none of the notes seem to overpower the fragrance - they are all equal to each other.

Dark Sapphire seems to settle down into a citrusy vanilla type scent when the basenotes come out.

There is a tiny bit of sourness which is perfectly matched with the vanilla.

I finding that I love Dark Sapphire the more I wear it. You will love this if you really like simple yet elegant fragrances.

Very similar to Valentino V !
