This fragrance is a relaunch of the '79 version. Evelyne Boulanger at Symrise recaptured the mood of this green floral and added some modern components to it (some fruity notes). The original vintage formula from 1979 was much crisper, slightly reminiscent of Chanel 19. The new version is technically brilliant and not as cool and detached as the old formula. Scent 79 smells wonderful, with all the proper ingredients of a fruity chypre, including woody notes in the dry-down.
Too bad it is rather expensive (129 Euros) and does NOT go on forever (average lasting power). Would also make a tremendous masculine.
