Cologne Intense Oud & Bergamot Jo Malone for women and men

This is a deliciously decadent and rich scent. It opens with a burst of bergamot and the woody and resinous oud. The sweetness of orange soon comes out but eventually this fades down to a wonderful oud, which is such an amazing smell. This had very good sillage and maybe because it's oud, but the staying power is the best of any Jo Malone I have ever experienced. 13+ hours and a shower later and I can still smell the warmth of the oud on my skin. This would also I think be mind-blowingly good on a man's skin. My absolute favourite of the Cologne Intense line and one of my three favourite Jo Malone's. Five stars really.

My first sniff was one without alcoholic sharpness, in true JM fashion, and instantly beautiful!
But where have I smelt thaqt before?
That citrus combo is ne'er overwhelming, surprisingly, and they've used the sweeter, least sour picks of the...ARMANI ATTITUDE! Thats what it is.
Now, you canNOT mark down a fragrance for smelling like another fragrance, its IMPOSSIBLE, in today's market, to make anything that either hasnt been done or will never be done again. No beef there.
Only when an over-marketed scent that demands everybody to try it smells EXACTLY like how many other over marketed scents can you mark it down.
Though if i look at it form my own view, Attitude will cost me a third of the price and is a thicker, stronger form of the smell, so is the logical choice.

GREAT scent JM has made here. That oud really kidnaps the harsher (mis)qualities of citruses and renders the scent gorgeous. No chance for harchness, straight to beaufitul.
When you apply this scent, you won't have to wait for an ugly alco-opening to subside to enjoy it, and neither will those around you.

Im glad Fragrantica finally added the Cologne Intense from Jo Malone. It's a very unique and exquisite collection! I am in love with the Oud and Bergamot! It's my favorite from this collection. It smells rich! If you're into strong arabian perfumes, give this a try.
