I loved the fragrance but the lasting power is terrible on me, even worse than other Jo Malone fragrances. It's a lovely fragrance and I wish they'd bring it back in a stronger formulation.
i love the smell it leaves in my room after spraying it on .. fresh citrusy with a hint of florals
I received the set as a gift and didn't care for it initially. I then thought about the fact that there was a paired set, which is unusual for a Jo Malone scent. I normally don't like to layer but I decided to see if the pair was a message. Combining this with the Dark Amber-Ginger Lily is amazing. The scent is dark and spicy but richly floral, where the two separately are pleasant but not especially impressive. I highly recommend the experiment and the result.
This was presented together with Dark Amber and Ginger Lily. I like them both in spite of being so different!
This one is so soft fresh floral with a good lasting power.
I like that it is not acquatic/ozonic. You can smell the watery sensation from flowers as if you smelled thick white flowers dripping water coming from a (clean) pond! So nice! It makes a good pair day/night with Dark Amber and Ginger Lily.
The sharp citrus top notes initially put me off. But after a while, the dry-down inhibited a clean, sparkling floral scent;
its' fragrance is reminiscent of a brisk cool morning of a Japanese garden - walking across an old bridge over a pond of aquatic florals....
The smell is okay, but doesn't last long on my body- only an hour after I spray it on my skin and I can barely smell it.
This fragrance from Jo Malone stole my money from my wallet! When I sniffed it I found it was amazing scent. Citrus top notes from mandarin orange, bergamot and grapefruit. clean-sweet-aquatic middle note from bamboo,lotus blossom and water lily. Smoky dry down from amber, musk and temple incense that combine well with its duo - Dark amber and ginger lily. In my opinion, It is a perfect unisex fragrance for casual summer daytime. Soft, clean and aquatic.
Reminds me Claude Monet's japanese bridge painting. It does go well with my skin chemistry and will be perfect in evening if you wear with Dark amber and ginger lily - -which is already in my wish lists.
