Sakura of cherry blossoming is celebrated traditionally every year in Japan, as an overture to spring. New cycle is important not only to all citizens of Japan, but even wider. The new fragrance by Jo Malone is inspired by cherry blossom, gentle petals that seduce with fruity-sweet and romantic floral nuances.

Jo Malone Sakura Cherry Blossom is composed of such notes that reinterpret cherry blossom in layers, among which we can detect queen rose, delicate mimosa, mandarin and bergamot. A powdery heart of the composition contrasts warm woody notes and sensual musk.

Jo Malone Sakura Cherry Blossom arrives on the market on March 1st as 'fragile, romantic and poetic performance of cherry blossoming' – stated Christine Nagel.

The fragrance is available as 30 and 100ml cologne in glass flacons, decorated with pink ribbons. Sakura Cherry Blossom was launched in 2011.

I love this perfume. It is light and powdery and oh so feminine. It is too bad it is a "limited edition"
and no longer available. I hope it comes back permanently.

This smells so pretty - a perfect Cherryblossom scent. It starts with a slight bite of bergamot that fades fast (which is good imo) and then a beautiful Spring Cherryblossom blooms and maintains, resting on a musky base. Really very lovely, but maybe not up to the task of surviving the winter months. A bonus though is that my boyfriend really likes it - whoever said men don't like florals? :)
