White Musk Jovan for women

JWM is very pure, clean, soft scent. The lasting power is excellent on my skin (applied 4 hours ago and still very strong). Very round. No sourish notes at all. If I was asked what musk of Jovan I prefer I would still say the original Jovan musk but this one is beautiful too.

The original Jovan musk is like a good movie by Woody Allen.

Jovan white musk is like a romantic movie... let me thing... Maid in Manhattan.

Jovan White Musk smells like a lustylicious cloud of musk...The jasmine is barely there, so does the amber, but the ylang ylang breaks through the fluffly cloud of musk...

It works better with my skin chemistry than the original Jovan Musk, plus it has lots of layering possibilities...

It is cheap, but it certainly doesn't smell cheap. It is dirty, but it smells clean.. This is how the gorgeous Victoria's Secret models should really smell like...this is heavenly fleshy!

My nose thinks there is a light resemblance between Narciso Rodriguez for her and Jovan White Musk...love them both!

This perfume have no harsh edges or sour notes. It smells velvety soft, warm and creamy smooth, just like a bodylotion...

Sweet, but not "gourmand sweet". Clean, but not aquatic.

My teddybears smelled like this when I was a kid.

And it was SO inexpensive. I highly recommend this comfort in a bottle!

I like this a LOT better than Jovan Musk. Its sweeter and somehow marshmallowy. Pity my husband doesnt like musks, but, not really being a musk person myself, this one isnt offensive and seems to be the lightest one Ive tried so far.
I probably wouldnt ever buy it but spray in on once in a blue moon at the drug store.

I've always loved white musk but I've been looking for THE perfect white musk for years. None that I've tried before make me pleased. The Body Shop's one used to be great, but now it smells strongly chemical, cheap and gives me headache.

My boyfriend ordered this on ebay for me and I fell in love with it as soon as I opened its cap. It's so babyish, soft and delicate. It smells like clean skin with some good old moisturiser.

Despite being subtle and soft, it DOES turn heads. I always get compliments when I wear this and I get ppl asking me what I'm wearing all the time. I like to spray it on knittings or cotton blouses and sort of, let it "set" overnight. When I get dressed in the morning, my clothes smell heavenly.

My boyfriend gets nasal and keeps sneezing when he smells perfumes. But with Jovan's he never has such problems.

I loved this when it came out and I still love it. That's all. I also find that if I add it to my My Life Blossom perfume it is perfect on me. Sexy, soft, feminine, elegant and appealing to others as well as myself.

I never would have thought of buying this (or anything with "white musk" as a prominent note)until I smelled it on someone else and loved it. Fortunately, it smells just as wonderful on me as it did on her, which is so often NOT the case, lol. It is different from most white musks on me because although it is clean, it is still warm. It doesn't get that soapy, high-pitched note that I almost always get in "clean" musk scents. It is sweet but not food-y sweet, powdery, and yet still clean and fresh; a really nice mix. Lasting power is good on me, and it lasts forever on clothing. Scent stays true for hours. I love it!

this is a sharp musk, amber is too prominent. there's something strong and dry about this one.

Fluffy, soft, baby cotton clean, cuddly, intimate, heavenly! Warm clean skin scent, memories from my childhood, the smell of my aunt's and grandmom`s bedroom.
If I could only get one pure perfume of all I love, it would have been this one.

Clean, Fresh, Fresh Just stepped out of the shower, Non-Heavy white musk. Honeysuckle is a nice compliment to the musk in this. This is perfect for those who work in situations were heavy fragrances are not allowed but just feel incomplete without a fragrance.

This reminds me of how the Body Shop White Musk used to smell 15-20 years ago before they changed the formulation and it suddenly smelled strongly chemical and not musky at all.

I'm the kind of person who needs to wear perfume all the time, even if I'm having a lounging around at home day and not wearing any make up. This perfume is perfect for that, it's soft and comforting. Would probably work well in the gym too.

No need to spray on too much as it's long lasting and probably would smell cheap in large quantities. It should be used like a gentle skin scent rather than a perfume imho.

Went ahead and grabbed a bottle of this and it blows TBS White Musk out of the water.This is so soft and lovely and wow does it last!Sprayed some on before bed and still smelled it the next morning.Such a nice change from most white musks I have smelled:this scent is very round while others seem to have a bit of sharpness to them.It really is the ultimate skin scent and VERY sexy but in a sweet,romantic way.Two thumbs up-can't believe I am just now trying this but I kind of got turned off to white musks by the other brands I had tried.This will be in my regular rotation from now on and for the price I can afford to use it a lot:)

Cleanest musk fragrance ever.. Just feel so Fresh on dry down.. unlike the other white musk perfume.. This is the Classic ,Pure and Original musk.. Like it so much..

Jovan White musk is my signature scent. So far, it has been unrivaled (in fragrance or price). It has a delicate, earthy-angelic smell that somehow reminds me of being 13 again, toasting marshmallows over a summer campfire. That natural honeysuckle & white musk scent that is never heavy and never ever cloying. :)

I first came across "my precious" (hehehe) when I was 13yrs. old. My older sister had a friend over whom I always thought was so exotic and pretty. She was half Japanese & half Caucasian and her skin was snowy white, her hazel eyes tipped up at the corners, and her hair was a lovely chestnut brown. She was super-nice to me too. But what was most beautiful about her was this lovely scent that seemed to emanate from her pores!

One day I got up the courage to ask her what perfume she was wearing, and then she gave me the rest of her bottle that she had brought over. I think I bathed in it for the rest of the summer. Such a wonderful smell... the word that comes to mind is Heaven. If this perfume were a woman, she would look familiar and slightly exotic, earthy and ethereal at the same time, laid-back, amiable, and she's comfortable and classic, wearing a warm, off-the-shoulder white angora sweater, but in a modern, bohemian sort of way.

Jovan White Musk wears very close to the skin, it never enters the room before you do, not overpowering at all. It's like your natural skin smell with a hint of sweetness and freshness, like you just smell that good all the time. ...Something an earth-bound angel would smell like. Jovan White Musk is the only fragrance my husband will let me wear. He says he can't imagine a better aroma. Me either. ^__^

I haven't smelled this in a long time...my only forays into white musk are from The Body Shop and WhiteMusk Fantasy by Parfums de Couer.They are very linear and one note-is this the same or is there more to it?

Delicious!!! it's the only white musk that I like. I tried white musk from the body shop and hated it so this was a pleasant suprise, it's so soft and you can really smell the honeysuckle and the amber. just a great every day scent for me.

This was one of my very first perfumes. I wear this when I just want to smell clean and uncomplicated. I can only spray two sprays of this before I become anosmic to the musks, which means this is nothing more than a skin scent on me. That's ok because I only wear this one for me. :)

Jasmine and honeysuckle are two of my favorite notes, yet sadly I can't wear this perfume. My body chemistry rejects it.

You can't ask for anything more in a casual inexpensive scent.
A crisp slightly soapy floral musk, very feminine and friendly. In the same family as Lady Stetson I think. Perfect for daytime and office, tweener or senior.

I prefer it to any of the celebrity scents in the same price range. Does it stack up to $100 bottles of the good stuff? Heck no! But for $10, would you really expect it to? It does what it's made to do...make you smell and feel good for not alot of $.

The only way it's too strong is if you use too much. 1 spritz is perfection and will last at least a couple of hours. What a bargain!

And I'm sorry, but if you find a man who can tell this is a cheap scent, he's either one in a million or lying because he thinks it's what you want to hear.

I got this perfume unsniffed online, I like musk so I wasn't particularly worried about spending my money on something I hadn't smelled before.
The bottle is really deceiving though! When I unwrapped it I thought the bottle looked somewhat cheap it worried me slightly.
However when I smelled it I was so surprised, it smells so lovely, clean and fresh. Oddly enough this fragrance makes me feel at home. It's like i've smelled it before but I can't remember when or where only it's really comforting. It's sweet but not too sweet. You can smell the Jasmine and the honeysuckle and the musk tops it off nicely.

I wore this on a night out yesterday and I love the fact that it stayed with me most of the night. I topped it about 5 hours later.
If you like a comforting fragrance then please try this! You'll love it!

I have worn this scent on and off for years. I forgot about it and then when I saw that it was on sale at Walgreens I bought a bottle. Still has that soft beautiful floral musk smell. I decided to pass it on to my fourteen year old...and she loves it! I don't know but I think it smells better on her. LOL

i love this musk, more powdery than the regular jovan musk for women which i also love. i love the jasmine that shines through so clearly. just a nice everyday clean scent. many compliments when i weat this one.

Well, shucks! I fell in love with an amazing "white musk" perfume called Perfect Veil, and decided I better give the entire genre another sniff.

This one is my first stop and rightfully so.

Jovan White Musk is so affordable and accessible that trying to talk yourself out of it is a moot point. You can test it on your skin at any drugstore or discount store, and when you do, you'll find it's so pretty and as full-bottle-worthy as many scents that cost 3 or 4 times the price. It's a beautiful soft musk with white flowers. This one meets my needs for both a honeysuckle fragrance and a clean white musk. It's great for the workplace or daytime, and also layers nicely with just about any other scent you may own. Longevity is pretty good for the cologne concentration--about six hours--and the sillage can't be beat. Cheap, cheerful, sexy and wearable. Nice to find this in a bottle that can easily be found for $20 or less!

My favorite "drugstore" fragrance and a staple in my fragrance wardrobe. It is very comfortable to wear and has a "just stepped out of the shower" quality. I only detect a hint of musk among the florals. I have it in the "cologne concentrate" spray, and I think it is a little bit stronger that the regular cologne spray. I prefer the regular cologne spray, personally. It is not intrusive (when worn correctly), which makes it great for summer and any day you want to just smell fresh and clean.

I love that it's affordable! I had this back in high school and everytime I smell it, it takes me back. That's part of the appeal to me. And it smells so good. I must go to Target or Sears and buy another bottle.

This is a very soft musk, ideal for those that are not too keen on musk scents. A fragrance that could be used casually on a daily basis. The floral notes are very subtle and understated. I can't help but think that this reminds me of the roll on deodorant.

I love this stuff. I am into my second bottle. I don't think it smells cheap at all, even though it is. It is so unique (not its volume of wearers but uniqueness of scent), it really puts some of these modern fruity things that cost $100+ to shame.

I have Jovan White Musk in the cologne spray version. It is a great scent for bedtime or very casual days. On my skin, this smells like a clean, soapy, sweet musk with a hint of soft flowers and amber. The drydown is mostly musk and it wears close to the skin. For something so affordable, this is really quite pleasant. The sillage is great and this is long lasting.

NO!!! I just ordered White musk online and wore it right away. I was really unimpressed with the musk , but hoped that it would smell a litle better after a while. I normally love musk scents( D&G Feminine is my favorite) but this one was bad. Even though I tried to wash it off, it stayed (at least it has good lasting power).A man at work asked if I was wearing a new perfume and when I asked hm to be honest, he said it smelled like a strong, cheap perfume.I couldn't agree more...

This is such a popular "drugstore" fragrance. It's no wonder why, really. It's a very pleasing and pleasant aroma. White flowers and musk (of course!)are there at the onset. I've had it, my mom had it, her friend had it. That's the downfall, it's not particularly unique. Other than that, it's a lovely perfume, clean, soft and romantic.
