The first fragrance of the famous model Kate Moss. The fragrance reflects Kate's personality, it is seductive and sophisticated, a mix of elegance and adventure. It is an embodiment of her free spirit, sex appeal, mystery and life stile which sometimes can be wild and edgy.
The vibrant floral-spicy opening of Forget me not, orange blossom and pink pepper, transforms into an opulent mix of rose, peony and lily of the valley. Base notes of sandal wood, patchouli and musk reveal Kate's darker side. The perfume creator is Nathalie Lorson of Firmenich. It was created in 2007.

My mother-in-law went for a trip and she asked if I wouldn´t want some kind of perfume. I gave her money and I asked for Lancome Hypnose.Well... she came back and gave me Kate Moss and told that it had similar price ( WHAT?! yea, sure) and Hypnose for her was just ugly ( nobody asked her opinion!). I was really angry but I had to take it. Kate Moss it´s definetly not my cup of tea. I dislike it but it´s not ´´stinky or something´´. It´s a flower scent and that´s all. I had 50ml and I didn´t use it much. I gave it almost full to my cousin and she was glad.
Mother-in-law.. ehhhh..
Anyway longevity was good, I smelled it all day and it stayed on clothes about 2 days.
I've grown to quite enjoy this scent after not being especially impressed with it all along. For me its a strong rose scent with something else underlying that gives it some depth and ever so slight warmth/spiciness. There is also perhaps an ever so slight chemically edge to it but it's not very noticeable (u have to sniff hard after initial spray to get it lol). I used to hate rose scents which perhaps explains my less than enthusiastic attitude to this scent straight off but i'm growing to appreciate them more and more. It's a very calming relaxed fragrance. I find it very linear and lasting power isn't wonderful, perhaps slightly less than average so I defiantly would recommend getting the body lotion also. I don't think my body chemistry is the best for this and I think it has the potential to be very lovely on the right person. If you suit fragrances along the line of the original miss dior, Nina Rici, chanel no. 5 even perhaps this would be much nicer on you. I tend to bring out, musky/spicy undertones and suit those type fragrances better. All in all not my favourite perfume for me but I still enjoy it every now and again more as a personal scent than anything else. I wouldn't wear it on a special occasion as lasting power is not good enough. This has a much classier/classic feel than some of the real fruity sweet celebrity offerings. Again I have to hand it to Kate this isn't bad at all and for the price lovely quality.
Not disgusting but just very cheap and chemical-smelling to my nose. Wouldn't want to own it, in fact got given a boxed once and it was recycled pretty quickly!
It's rosie-fruity scent, linear, sweet, lovely- one of those rose scents you can find in almost every wardrobe of rose lovers.
This is a wonderful Rose/Sandalwood fragrance with an emphasis on the woody base. The spices are not overwhelming but nor are they absent. A nice blend, very safe if you're curious about more woody perfumes. Perfect for someone who's ready to leave behind the average mainstream fruity/floral and venture into something with more spice and wood.
this was not for me. not good blind buy.For me it's cute, but not enough to wear it, because I prefer strong, persistent perfumes that gives sillage and longevity. Perhaps it would come in elixir or intense version - with more woodsy notes , then I would like it?
I tried this a few years back and found that the scent didn't really captivate Kate Moss's spirit.
I couldn't detect a rose scent, but instead I found a gentle orange blossom note - quickly dried down to a subtle woody fragrance.
I found this fragrance too 'sedate' and 'inhibited' since I was expecting Kate Moss to smell raw, edgy - like cigars and patchouli.
Lacked edge and mystery. Nice - but not captivating enough.
It's an interesting rose scent, romantic and sensual. I like it but it's not one of my favourites..therefore I gave this to my sister who adores that smell !
vintage makeup, powder, pepper and roses:) wow I adore this scent! feminine and fashionable.
Kate needs to get more credit in the perfume world!
This is simply a beautiful one!
This smells so much like Tommy Girl by Tommy Hilfiger. I tried to select that from the dropdown list here, but the list was incomplete!
My friend gave me her bottle of this as it started making her feel ill....and I can see why. I have nothing against celeb perfumes, most of my fragrances are celeb ones but this is just not for me. All I smelt was a sickly strong smell of roses and nothing else! It reminded me of a cheap flower toilet spray. You'll not be suprised to know I threw this into the bin.
to much rose lasting power is crap and the bottle looks like a nail polish
I put this in the "nothing special" category of perfumes. I'm not keen on the peppery note either. Ho hum.
Sorry, but I don't consider fashion models to be glamorous or role models in the sense of "deserving honour, respect and admiration". They are more like tools used by designers since clothes hangers can't walk.
To me the word "celebrity" might also have a negative meaning, all depends on what is one famous for.
When I find that another "celebrity" releases a new perfume I'm interested in the notes and in the perfumer who created it. The smell of the product is the only thing that counts for me.
I'm in love with many Nathalie Lorson's creations & pepper-rose-peony notes in perfumes. That's why I was interested in trying "Kate". I'm not disappointed. It is not loud. More of an intimate kind of perfumes. Smells to me like deep red roses. It might not have a great projection, but yet, I'm a person that wears perfumes for myself (not even for my beloved husband), and I can smell it on myself for a few hours. All in all I like the scent a lot.
I had a sample but I couldn't stand it. The scent was so sour on me! I had to wash it off, it was unbearable. And similar to Gaultier's Classique.
Her latest one just arrived to a perfumeside on the internet. Its called "Lilabelle" does anyone know if it is good?
"Oh God" I thought when I read about a fragrance by Kate Moss. Me and my friends joked about it smelling of cigarettes and alcopops. I think everyone I've met had the same reaction when they heard about it. She doesn't have the best reputation but don't let that put you off. I ate my words when I smelled the perfume. It's gorgeously floral and subtle. The idea of rose being in perfume puts me off as I sort of see rose as a scent for an old woman! But in 'Kate' it smells divine. It's perfect for older teens-early 20's I'd say. It's a very fun and cute scent aswel as having a sort-of mature edge to it aswel. Definitely best for day time, every-day type fragrance. It's my favourite and has been for a few years. I don't even get ashamed when I tell people it's Kate Moss' perfume! It's that lovely.
This smells really great on me. Soapy, rosy, peppery and very clean. I really like it alot. It does remind me somewhat of "Just Me" by Paris Hilton only Kate is a little more mellow/soapy. This was a good addition to my wardrobe as I am becoming a rapid fan of rose scents.
I saw this on clearance for 8 bucks and had to get it as I love all things rose.It has a very old fashioned smell to it and although I can't stand pepper as a note it works in this somehow.I agree with a previous reviewer that it reminds me of vintage scented cosmetics. It's not a 'love' for me but I do like it quite a bit.It smells like Avon's Eternal Magic to me but with less vanilla.
Kate Moss- Kate.
Kate is actually the first ever fragrance that I purchased for myself. It was on Special as well so it made it all the more appealing because it came with the Bonus Body lotion. I remember vividly wearing this scent and the loudness of its rose and pink pepper notes. It was beautiful though because they blend together so well. Unfortunatley it is only these two notes which my nose is able to pick up on which in a sense is fine with me however though I think I do detect some Patchouli in the drydown but everything is always pushed to the side by the Rose. Being a lover of Rose scents I think Kate is a perfect beginners fragrance for young girls. Being a guy I love to wear this for its cleanliness and i guess the sentimental value I get from the scent of Roses. The only bad thing I can say about Kate is that the staying power is not the best. It lasted about 4 hours on my skin and then there was literally no trace of it but on my clothing it lasted around 7 hours and left a very faint but sweet smell. Overall a successful first fragrance for Kate Moss.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this sent :)
I find it perfect, it smells so nice, but its nothing over powering. I go to a sent free school, but sometimes I like to sneak a spray of something nice, this one is perfect for that. its just enough so I can smell it on myself once in a while, and my friends might comment on how nicely I smell but not too much that I land in the principals office.
I also find this sent can be day or night, young or mature.
After reading the reviews I bought the gift set with the eau de toilette and the body lotion and I am literally addicted to it. The smell of the body lotion alone already last more than 5 hours on my skin so I only use the lotion without the EDT at the moment. And the smell is so wonderful and really not common at all. I get a lot of peonie but also rose. It's a very soft but a very present smell. I just love it !!!
I thought i didn´t like this perfume, but found out that this perfume and the luxury edition is not the same scent. I bought this fragrance at 50 milliliters on sale for $ 14, and it is very cheap for a perfume in Denmark. I have to admit that I really love this scent.I get a lot of the rose in this scent, so very gentle and clean - almost like soap. This perfume is perfect for daytime or summerdays. Not too heavy, not too sweet - it's just gentle and nice with a little bit of mystery in it to. I think Kate Moss makes the best celiberty fragrances so far.
easy to wear fragrance! very uncomplicated scent for every day use. starts very fruity and sweet but dries down to a very clean and soapy rose scent with a hint of pepper. i like it very much especially in warmer sunny days.
i get a bit of the agent provocateur spirit, but much much softer without the "in-your-face" rose and spices.
lasting power ist not so great, but kate by kate moss is quite low priced so can be reapplied as often as you need during the day.
This to me is in the same family as Red Door Velvet and SJP Lovely, NR for her etc Gucci to name a few. It has a musky vibe to it. I like it but it doesn't last on me at all so I will not bother getting it again. It is probably my skin. It is definitely a rose powder smell with musk. If only it would last I would re purchase this.
Sickly sweet. The rose scent overpowers all the other scent. Thought it was nice at first until it became too strong and it lasted the whole day.
This is such a pleasant smell. I get a very strange memory when I put this on, it reminds me of the scent of a really expensive lipstick after applying, and I'm remembering one of my mother's good estee lauder lipsticks, the nice scent that would emanate from my lips and I was just a kid at the time and I would feel like such a grown up :) This fragrance actually has a similar scent, so for me it brings back nice memories and I like it. It is not very strong but it is definitely feminine and pleasant, and you feel like a lady wearing it. It's a soothing scent I think
To me this is a rather "cheap" and uninteresting rose scent. Quite flat. Bad lasting quality.
Lingering scent of tobacco and sweet florals, perhaps violet. If you sprayed on some floral perfume and danced all night in a smoky club, you would smell like this the morning after.
this one is really nice. i don't like the rose notes but in this they are so subtile. and as i am a fan of sweet perfumes it's kinda strange for me i like this so much.also i get a lot commpliments for this
Oh I love this one! It's red carpet in a bottle. It's clean and feminine, soft and airy but hangs around for a decent time. This smells expensive. The notes are different from Prada Infusion de Iris but it's the same type of scent and every bit as good for a fraction of the cost. Summer, sunshine, warmth and breezes can only enhance this scent. This has a cute bottle design and box, very easy to use. I know everyone has different opinions, I just can't believe a lot more people don't love this one. This isn't exactly what you'd expect Kate to wear or conjure up herself so maybe this would be where the disappointment comes from? I think this would have been a big hit if this was a scent by Natalie Portman. I love this a lot and hope more people out there give this one a chance.
A powdery rose scent, basically! Soft and nice, but nothing special at all. I don't feel that I need "special" all the time though, so I don't find that being a problem. My problem though is that it lasts like an hour or so. I really wish it lasted longer.
Headache inducing scent. I was out shopping with my mum and she got a headache too. My mood was spoiled due to this scent which lasted for the whole day. Oh the terror!
I've never liked this "celebrity perfume" thing. They all smell the same to me: way too sweet and cheap. So obviously I was a bit (very!) skeptical when my friend bought it for my birthday. Well, "Kate" proved me wrong. Not ALL star perfumes are bad. It was love at first sniff and now I'm addicted to it. It's unpretentious, light, like a fresh rose bouquet but, despite its simplicity, "Kate" is still sultry and expensive smelling. I love it
i really like kates first perfume its really nice its not too strong or sweet a really nice everyday scent unlike the other kate moss perfumes their horrible
I love how smells my skin with this perfume, in winter.
Roses, roses and more roses in english style.
Totally agree with scarletprince.
you need the right chemistry in the skin,to wear this fragance.
i my skin lasts all day becoming stronger notes of rose and patchouli, it's really sensual.
Vintage Perfume for example, is disgusting, there is nothing good in this perfume, and I think it doesnt look good on any skin.Smell cheap, stronge like whisky.
Nice fragrance but don't last at all.In an hour is gone.Maybe I will wear this in the summer or spring.
Lightly spicy, floral but not so original. And it doens't last. The bottle is so common...I thought that a Kate Moss perfume would have been more surprising. I've been disappointed.
I must write this. I've got my coffret (edt+bl) and I use it for about a week. What I've noticed that edt doesn't have such a poor lasting power as I thought before and I'm quite happy about its longevity. Although the smell of body lotion is awful, pure pepper, that I can not reccomend.
oh after reading all these negative reviews i dont think this will be added to my collection does smell really nice though
roses
I've changed my mind. I like this fragrance so much that I will wear it although it has such a poor lasting power. I bought a coffret - edt with body lotion. I hope that when I will use it together it will last longer on my skin.
I tested this one today on a paper strip and I thought it would be a cheap alternative to Stella but i was wrong.
Kate as nothing special, is a flat boring rose, trying to be chic but is still a very cheap perfume. Even my mom's drugstore rose lotion smells more interesting. A pity :(
Although I'm not a great fan of celebrity scents, this one I really like. It's so soft, clean, sweet rose scent. Very similar to Comme Une Evidence by YR, and a little bit to Narciso Rodriguez for her as well. But very poor lasting power disqualify this beautiful scent unfortunately.
Good old classic english rose in the right way. Very english, very rose! A classic! Settles down well, quite lasting. Woody, spicy, musky rose yet not overpowering. Describes charismatic, stle, modern chic.
I didn't like it a lot. I like floral scents, but this is like a simple perfume. I don't recommend, don't buy it. If you like floral perfumes like me, buy like Lancome or Gucci brands.
love this ..reminds me of narcisco r scent....love it...very fresh
This one really requires the right body chemistry I suppose. I see such a mix of opinions. I have to say on me, it just smells...well...soapy. Flash of rose at first and then tones down to... soap. I can't even find all of the supposed incense base notes (amber? sandalwood? patchouli?). I am glad Kate got this one out of her system because her others are much nicer.
This perfume smells really expensive. I fell in love with it right away and it's something I must have in my collection at any time.
The way it develops on my skin is simply wonderful and I find it pleasant at any time of day, regardless of season.
This fragrance is beautiful. You definetly get a sense of Rose being the center of the fragrance. To me it just smells really creamy and quite sexy but in a non-offensive and obnoxious way which in my opinion makes this a fragrance perfect for any woman. Its definetly a clean smell especially when used with the body lotion- i think together it makes the scent much more stronger and longer lasting and it just smells so much nicer and sexier with the body lotion. On its own its definetly a wonderful smell but it doesn't last that long.
I'm really loving this recent trend of youthful, abstract rose perfumes (Stella, Cassis rose, the many Very Irresistible variations) and Kate is no exception.
Kate starts out with a champagne cork fizz of florals: I am no fan of pink pepper but it works really well here. It may lack a certain kind of groundedness, but the flashbulb-bright rose and cool peony-magnolia help it drift and slip through the drydown, which, while it's nice to see vetiver in this, is very, very quiet!
So yes, it's a celebrity perfume, and yes, Coty made it which makes this the Michael Bay of celebrity perfumes, but I'll be damned if this isn't wonderful. I was so prepared to dislike it but it took me in completely.
Kate Moss KATE reminds me of a mixture of three different perfumes: Lanvin RUMEUR (similar magnolia-rose-patchouli presentation), Lancome MIRACLE (similar magnolia-pepper complex), and STELLA (similar peony-rose combo). On top of all of that, KATE opens with a splash of fruitiness which evokes in this wearer immediate memories of the cherry toothpaste used by one of my former dentists.
KATE has a sort of postmodern quality, above all with its multiple allusions (some more obscure than others!) to fragrances which may or may not be recognized by wearers. Something like the intertextual references in the films of Quentin Tarantino. Fortunately, however, Coty had the good sense to spare us the violently toxic opening of RUMEUR.
This would have been a perfect fragrance to bear the name MADONNA: lots of swirling identities, no real essence. Hmmm...on second thought, perhaps it's perfectly apt for a model, as well.
whoa whoa i just left a comment a few minutes back,
but this is turning into something really nice on my skin!
almost fizzyish, and im catching abit of fruits!
sort of like cranberry- tart, but slightly sweet at the same time.
underneath the perfume i was wearing cocoa butter lotion- perhaps this is influencing this?
anyways i am very intrigued and loving this.
my friend recently gave me her bottle after my constant begging- i wanted to add a different type of scent to my collection, unlike any of my other perfumes.
i love the zesty opening, kicked up with the scent of pink peppercorn. it can be a bit strong,
but within minutes it settles down and a soft rosy scent emerges. its the elegant, girly side showing.
after, musk comes through, revealing the darker, more sensual side of the wearer.
the lasting power may be weak but this scent makes me think of dark gloomy fall days, a beautiful girl gazing out her window in deep thought.
hopefully i'll receive a few compliments from it in the next while, not sure if it works with my skin chemistry.
either way, i love it.
Try mixing this scent with Kimora lee Simmons Seductive goddess it smells good together,I also put some versace red jeans in there too. Nice.
Sometimes comments need to be reformulated, this is my case here: After having finished my first bottle of KM, I still like this tasteful, delicate fragrance: the rose-fizz in it, the transparency, the bit of depth as from humid bark, the sugar-icing finish.
The scent does have identity, but it is very fleeting, on me it lasts max 1 hour. I would say this is the best possible first rose scent for a girl to have.
Have to say, I am not a fan of this one. Reminds me of home brand fly spray. Glad I did not buy it blind and waste my cash. A friend of mine wears it and I not have the heart to tell her I not like it. She loves it . Each to their own I guess.
I am not much of an expert, but i loved this fragrance as soon as i smelled it.Very soft, floral, sexy and fresh!LOVE IT!
Not too floral, woody fragrance with a hint of earthiness. Reminds me very much of the subtle beauty of Autumn/Fall.
However, I completly disagree with the extravagant reviews and description of this fragrance. Rather, I find that it lacks sex appeal, has no mystery, and certainly isn't wild and edgy.
Kate by Kate Moss is a pleasant enough fragrance, but it seems to be lacking spark. The floral-woods are cleverly intertwined but it's a little bit bland and boring.
Really fond of this scent. I think it's a very youthful floral. A floral for a woman who has a bounce in her step and ribbons in her hair. hehe!
It starts out very bright, kinda fizzy like some people have said. That would be the pepper and sharp cranberry. The flowers are behind straight away just buffering up the top notes. It's really pleasant.
The feel of this scent is one that is noticable, and noticably floral but not offensive. It's good good lasting power but doesn't jump off the skin crazy strong like some florals.
The drier stage waves goodbye to the fizz and the flowers in here come forward, they work so well together, and this scent has an overall pinkness to it. Still floral but still holding onto that youthful feeling.
The patchouli in the base is so so slight but it's there and it really adds to the depth of this perfume.
I think it's gorgeous!
This is not an everyday staple of mine though it IS one of my permanent collection items and I wouldn't be without this one.
Its a spicy perfume on opening, the orange notes and pink pepper are readily identifiable and in your face! I find that combination rather appealing and I like it, but I can't see that same quality appealing to the vast majority. It settles to a clean floral (on me at least) later. The floral heart is unremarkable, if there is heliotrope then I cannot pick it up. There is a sweet and rather obvious retro classic rose which tends to drown the other notes. The sandalwood and musk are the most obvious base notes, the more discerning perfumer may detect the other notes, but musk is most apparent to me.
Except for the opening which is a different and rather modern twist, the heart and base notes are safe and unoffensive. It's wear time is pretty awful - this is an EDT and I'd reckon about 2 hours wear on me and that's a generous estimate. It behaves far more like an EDC than EDT and if you like to be able smell the fragrance you are wearing and have others smell it too then expect to reapply this several times during the day! Its a nice everyday scent that wont appeal to everyone based on that spicy opening note - but if you let it linger a little you might enjoy the heart and base notes a bit better.
IMHO its a modern edgy twist on a classic vintage rose fragrance and I rather like it!!
bah humbug old rubbish! I'm surprised she could tell what she was sniffing considering the state her nose must be in. I bet she doesn't wear it herself!
I tried this one and didn't like it at all. It was just an annoying scent nothing special or memorable. This was a concoction of rose and pepper. I expected more from Kate. I have a lot of tolerance for perfume but this gave me a major headache.
This is just watery rose on me with only the barest hint of spice. If you like roses, there are plenty of better fragrances out there such as Stella or Paris.
I found a nice gift set for $24.99 at AJ Wright it came with a 3.4 oz spray a 5 oz lotion and a cute little evening bag with a removable flower pin. Cute set.It reminds me of a better smelling Lanvin Rumeuer.I like this one I like the bottle kind of looks like a big nail polish!
I tested this today and liked it, but totally agree with missk... it has no staying power which really is a pity.
to sharyssa where can you buy this?is this at dillards please help
I like it, is a serious fragrance and the smell is confortable and seductive,i think that Kate was made for an elegant and modern women!
the only disappointment i have with it is that it doesn't last at all.don't think ill buy it again.
Its started with a dark rose.then becomes a suptle scent.then surprise the perfume comes back with the peony a sugary scent.then its a soft floral .romantic and spring.hope and joy.a bit like eternity and lauren.softer.verry nice.will buy a bottle.
At first goes on kind of sharp and clean , orange , magnolia & pepper is what I get in the very beginning , later settles more into the florals, especially the rose , has that wet earthy smell also.
This is a spicy , fresh perfume , gets better as my skin warms it , more interesting , kind of soapy really...
Kate is not very strong though, too bad because I think there is something quite pleasant & unique about this , more oomph & this would of stood out as fabulous.
Does not last very long unfortunately - may not be a bells & whistles kind of scent( only because it needs a little more strength) ) but still very nice.
I really, really enjoy the earthy moss and leaf smell in this one. Its like walking though a forest after it's rained.
At first i hated it.
Then i realize, it`s very unique and sexy smell.
Love black roses smell. Very nice scent. On me it lasts like 5 hours.
Box is cute, with black rose.
Bland, boring, dry, totally lacking in imagination.
The scent closely resembles dried leaves and tree bark in the midst of Autumn.
Was expecting something more edgier, controversial and raw.
I'd be damned if Kate Moss truly did have the upper hand in choosing the oflctive notes in this one.
Definitely English type of elegance, discreet due to the subdued floral mix, yet naughty and evoking intimate freshness of a woman coming out from the shower and the dressing table, similar to Narciso Rodriguez for Her EdP, but with a pale rose vintage touch added to the dominating clean musk.
The smell is quite good, not really
my favorite but ok kinda unique.
I don't know why but I usually wear
it when I go out at night.Somehow
it feels fit.
Hi everyone can somebody tell me please if this one is available in canada?? please help me! thanks! ;)
I didn't expect something unemarkably bland out of Kate Moss.
I detected woody notes but I was so unmotivated I didnt bother spraying it on again.
Kate Moss is a controversial, excitable celebrity. This fragrance doesnt describe her at all.
I think it is way too sweet. The joke is that she is a smoker and so this perfume of hers is a very strong sweet scent. Smokers can't smell as well. I hope she quits smoking.
i really liked this fragrance its very floral and quite interesting. its a nice change for me as i like fruity fragrances. its a very nice scent good for everyday wear.
I'm really surprised that so many find this boring. I was very happy with it on first try, because I honestly felt they have captured her in it exactly. I don't think it helps if you don't like her as a personality, but I always thought she has a delicate beauty with a dirty edge, and this smoky rose suits that perfectly. It doesn't last long, the fragrance is a little thin, it needs more kick and more depth, but if you think of a beautiful waif trailing around with 20 fags and a bottle of bacardi, here it is.
it's quite grown up,and delicate fragrance, but I don't like it that much.I don't like the top notes, its smells kind of masculine and a lot alcohol the first ten minutes,it has a nice smell after that, and I get the rose smell, but it's very subtle.I got compliments on this, but I don't really like it on myself. The bottle is nice and classy
This perfume smells like a cheap air freshener!
I made the mistake of spraying it on myself in a department store because it smelled OK in the bottle but once it was sprayed on it smelled yucky. It smells cheap and common. Not nice. Actually, a bit like Kate Moss herself really!
Love this. Smells very fresh floral. I imagine myself doing the catwalk when wearing this! For sexy and elegant women.
This is just another mediocre perfume from another celebrity. Too bad. I was hoping for more oomph since she IS a fashion model. It's a fairly nice scent, but nothing original. I get orange blossom, roses, pink pepper, and musk. Not a bad combination, but it's something that's been done before. I like to smell pretty, but different from everyone else at the same time. Sorry Kate. Perhaps the next one..?
Well Kate has definately been sniffingStella McCartneys frags. Kate is a bit more floral in the opennig but the drydown is so similar. I miss some of the more "sour" notes in Stella.
It is a nice budget version of ´Stella. On me it was quite longlasting too.
A trendy modern rose-scent. Me like
When I think of this fragrance, I remember being 17 and running up to the perfume counter every day just to douse myself in this scent. I'm not sure why I never bought it, (I'm guessing my Britney Spears fragrance obsession finally took over), but I managed to forget all about it and eventually lose interest. Today I had to refresh my memory.
At first sniff I can understand why I used to love it so much, however it is very different from the fragrances I now own. It's soft, subtle and rosy; extremely feminine and flowery. Vastly different from my loud gourmands and deeply sensual fragrances.
I wouldn't say that this fragrance smells cheap, but it is however rather common and unimaginative. The lasting power is this fragrance's major downfall. Within only a few minutes of applying, this scent had almost completely disappeared.
I read in one review, a girl describing this fragrance as being "nice but forgettable", and I totally agree with that statement. For lovers of soft and delicate rose scents or perhaps people wanting a lighter version of Stella by Stella McCartney, give this scent a try, you may just like it.
Love it! Smells like fresh soap on me. It lasts all day and is very subtle. I wear it mixed with Hot Couture by Givenchy... Great Great Great!!!
Stella Mccartney in misery. The fragrance wants to use the same idea but the ingredients are cheaper.
It would be very interesting to know that her future fragrance we,ll smell like pure vodka extract or pure Irish beer "odeur". It Is more appropriate with her behavior and lifestyle.
I've smelled this probably 4 times and can't remember at all what it smells like. Inoffensive but extremely bland. The bottle looks like a nail polish bottle.
Smells like "Oilily Flowers", and "Kate" is more expensive than Oilily´s
The bottle is cute in this pink colour, but it has nothing special...and I have to recognize that I don´t like Kate Moss so much.
So definitely I like the Oilily´s fragrance more than this
i find this scent very attractive and sexy, but i suppose it smells different on different people, it also usually lasts an amazingly long time for a celeb brand. true that it's not extremely original and has the hint of a variety of different scents
Actually I really love this fragrance, and it lasts for quite a while on me. It takes off like a flowery bouquet of roses, very tender and elegant and then changes in to a really VIP, expensive, sexy, stylish, romantic, out of this world smelling perfume with lots of attitude and personality. I think it really does the trick... Oh, and speaking of inexpensive and affordable... ;)
A nice floral everyday fragrance. Doesn't last very long so not the most economical. Smells very like Stella by Stella McCartney and 1/3 of the price.
I was so disappointed by this, surely the UK's "biggest style icon" must have perfumers fighting to work for her? The end result is so lifeless & bland, plus the scent doesn't last on me. After an hour I was pressing my wrist right up to my nose.
I couldn't pick out any of the floral notes & half an hour later there's just a faint impression of woody amber left, that just reminds me of a cheap storebrand aftershave.
This is a good perfume for daily office wear. You won't offend anybody with it. You won't knock your colleagues out as it isn't a headache inducing power scent.
I really like to wear it when I am cleaning the house! Makes me feel happy!
It's not bad, it's not good. Just thought that Kate would bring us a sexy and sassy cool number but this is just boring and uninspired. Nice for 12 year olds I guess.
Before i have this perfume...i also read about that in magazine...that smell rosy+pepper really good and i love it!!!
Kate's fragrance was a pleasant surprise for me. One of my friends told me about it, so I had to try it. The next moment after testing it...I bought it! It turned out to be a wonderful discovery, because I found it to be very discreet and long lasting. This scent is also very complex, captivating one's attention with it's multiple layers and life's experiences, but in the same time remaining faithful to a natural and sensual style.
Kate is a special fragrance, in the first minutes is a bit spicy, then turning into a fresh mixture of rose, musk, lily of the valley and patchouli. In general terms, I can describe it as being light, charming, intense, modern and mysterious. And of course, a fragrance like this should be worn by personalities described as "a mix of elegance and adventure" ;)
I smelled this at the store today, and to my surprise I actually did like it. I plan on adding it to my list to buy!
Clear rose, not sweet and long lasting.
It's the kind that grows on you, and reminds me of Rose Cardin. Good, classic. Had I seen these awful ads before buying it, I wouldn't even go near it.
Un olor muy semejante al aroma de rosas de Stella McCartney, pero Kate moss es mas suave, con una perdurabilidad justa y con un toque oloroso como de quitasmalte que la hace un poco fresca.
Delicioso aroma a rosa negra
I like: Kate Moss. This perfume:emmm, well I used it but I think when I will smell it on other people, I will not recognize it. It reminded me of Meracle by Lancome.
i have it and i believe that i regret buyin this scent. i'm only 17 so its too mature for me. it smells nice at first. but its way tooooooooooooo strong for me now. extreely musky n spicy. i wouldnt buy it again if i ever finish my bottle but im interested in velvet hour her new fragrance. hopefully it smells nicer.
i got this.i didnt like it initially cos i felt it smelt like toilet? but it grew on me n all of a sudden i'm in love with it. its not for casual occasions but more of like when i'm in a party or feeling sexy kind of mood.
Classic floral smell, but not common or boring. Doesn't last very long. Quite nice overall.
It smells like a high-quality fragrance, very interesting with a nice rose scent. Thanks, Kate!
I thougth that I would like this, but I didn´t... It smells nothing special, the topnotes on me smells like old, unfresh flowers and kind a moldy... And on me the drydown dosen´t seem to smell at all...
I was given this perfume as a present. I am disappointed that the scent doesn't last.
