Very musky, it tickles my nose. Passiflora starts off with a fruity burst, lots of passionfruit, mango on the edge, litchi sweetness saturated throughout. However, the floral notes start off very strong on me, and only seem to intensify as I wear it. The originally individually identifiable fruit notes quickly fades (as in a few minutes) and blends together into a strange, generic mish-mash of "tropical fruit". At this point I cannot say this smells like any natural fruit I have ever smelled, more like some poor facsimile I'd find in a cheap shampoo or body spray.
In the end, this smells like generic flowers mixed with generic fruit (mostly unnameable, maybe some oranges), with a definite emphasis on the flowers over the fruit. It is strong but has poor sillage; it sits very close to the skin. This is nothing special and definitely not worth the price.
Keiko Mecheri PASSIFLORA reminded me immediately of Balmain EAU D'AMAZONIE, above all because of the juicy mango note, but also because of the passionflower. This scrumptious, natural-smelling composition starts out a bit sweet but also has some greenishness and tartness, so I'd call this a green mango-passion flower perfume.
PASSIFLORA dries down beautifully: rich and succulent and dark orange. No sugar or artificial sweetener have been added to this composition, a simple yet beautiful tropical presentation of flowers and juicy fruits. Yum!
This seems to me to be a perfect vacation-time fragrance. I can imagine myself sitting outside on a chaise longue wearing a floppy hat and staring out into the ocean. The warm breeze caresses my nearly naked body as I sip slowly on a freshly blended mango smoothie, glad to be far from the noise and the bustle of city life.
Passiflora is a beautiful princess from a tropical jungle.
It opens with an overdose of mango, papaya, honeydew melon and other unidentifiable jammy fruits.
The heart is a sweetened bouquet of non-specific white flowers. Very shampoo like quality, actually it does bring to mind the idea of how a passionflower would smell like.
The dry down is a the left over of a generic fruity floral mixed in with hot musk.
Overall it is well blended, pleasant, suitable for hot weather and vacations. The high point is probably the opening, then becomes more mellow and generic.
It is similar to Taj Sunset by Escada. If you like D&G No. 3 or Escada scents you will enjoy this niche version of a fruity fragrance.
Verrrrrrry fruity! I get lychees and green mango, maybe some floral notes in the background filling out the scent. Reminds me of Fruitella sweets.
This is quite sweet, which is probably only to expected from something so fruity. Smells a little like Fruitella sweets, specifically the pear ones you get in the Orchard Fruits pack. Yup, I'm definitely getting a pear hit here.
Well worth a try if you like fruity fragrances! Longevity isn't bad at about 5 hours. Projection is subtle.
Do you take classes for salsa or meringue dancing? This is the right fragrance for it!
Lot of nice exotic fruits, not overhelmingly sweet, just right of all, well balanced. Strong and bold for special occasions. Silage - good, longevity - 8 hours.
oh my! I've never smelled anything as exotic without being to sweet. The balance between sweet and sour is perfect. As a delightful ripe passion fruit blended with papaya.
Very intense exotic floral-fruity bouquet with sweet-sour notes.
Passion flower and tropical fruits are really very strong and distinct, and so delicious you can almost drink it.
A very good lasting power, average sillage.
What I do not like, and the reason for not buying a full bottle despite i was looking exactly for a strong exotic summer scent, is that there is very, very strong soapiness from the start to the end.I think this causes a "synthetic" effect which I personally don't like at all.
The passionflower note is very pretty in this scent BUT it seems basically identical to Sanguine once the the passionflower note fades.
