For me, the combination of the top notes comes across as a melon type scent with a hint of floral from the violet. I don't find it spicy at all but perhaps that's because I identify the label 'spicy' with those fragrances that are heavy on pepper and/or nutmeg. If I had to categorize the opening, I would call it fruity floral. I find it pleasant and even soothing. Underneath, I get the amber and patchouli. This is a very solid but not exceptional fragrance in my book. It's a welcome addition to my wardrobe but not a member of my top 10. It is great for office wear and okay for a date. However, if I wanted to impress, there are a few other fragrances I'd reach for first.

Longevity is certainly better than Reaction. However, I'd like to add a few words on that. Many times our senses become accustomed to an aroma that is with us continually and we become desensitized to it. I've had ladies tell me how great my cologne smells hours after I thought no further trace of it existed.

A hidden gem. Smooth woods and only lightly sweet in the drydown. Not too heavy or too light. Would be a great everyday scent for a man.

This is what I am looking for.I firstly tried Kenneth Cole Signature by accident and fallen in love with this scent right away.It's so fresh and warm with reasonably valuable price! Kenneth Cole is another fragrance winning my taste.

Mandarin with spices and a touch of floral. Soft, warm, slightly woody with white velvety flower somewhere. Pretty scent and office-suitable.

This is a nice fragrance for those who enjoy a top note of citrus (orange & grapefruit)which warms up down to an amber, woodys fragrance. I enjoy it for the grapefruit, cardamon and light patchouli notes.
