One of my early favorite perfume. Sweet and fresh, with a noticeable strange sharp scent reminding me of ant (the green pepper scent?). I wear it day or night and my wife like it.

It smells expensive in an air conditioned room. Very nice, will buy another one.

I guess so this is..tried Le Male and I guess it really wont work in tropical countries..Too strong.. Well, this smell is almost everywhere, including Lacoste Style and Play and Bvlgari Extreme..

Very nice scent: simple, honest, fresh, minimalist, gentle. I find it very citric, with a mild floral heart and a subtle musky base. I don't know why it's clasified as aromatic aquatic. I'm not an expert, but for me it's more citrus aromatic. I find it somehow similar to Montana Homme on the top notes, but Kenzo is not as strong as Montana.

Sillage is quite good for the first two hours (then it stays closer to your skin), but in a subtle way; it won't shout and announce you are in the room, but its aroma will be noticed.

Longevity is weak to average, I would say 3 to 4 hours.

I still prefer the original Kenzo (that one is really aquatic); it has more character, it's stronger, has amazing sillage and stays with you the whole day. But Eau is still worth trying and owning.

This was given to me as a gift, and I literally cannot wear this cologne.
The green pepper is obvious, and is so intense that it actually aggravates my allergy to green peppers.
On the plus side, the musk can be sensed for quite a long time (at least eight hours) after putting on the cologne.
Overall, though, I would not recommend this, especially to anyone who has a sensitive nose.

Its already the 3rd time in last years that I buy this perfume for me, a woman. Believe me, I've never regreted!
Fresh and long lasting, makes you feel secure and sexy.

I have to say that this is the perfect fresh smell for summer, a few fragrances will make you feel this kind of fresh, unfortunately last a couple hours, may be three hours at most, so if you want to keep smelling fresh, you need to take the bottle with you and spry every two to three hrs.
That's what I do (lol), and believe me, you will be so happy with this fresh smell!!!

I remember buying a miniature version of this a few years back just by the sale's person's recommendation. Bought it just to mask the cigarette smell because my parents would kill me if they found out I smoke. I think it was quite worth it because as soon as I reached home, they asked me if I just had a shower outside. Fresh, young and somewhat sweet is what I'll describe this.

i'm a girl,but when i was a teenager(like 12-13) it was my brother's perfume and i was using it secretly:) it smells fresh but impressive.and very similar to femme version.i think it can used as unisex

I was apprehensive at first in purchasing this one as most of the reviews were about the poor longevity this offers.Am glad I gave in to temptation and went for it.

Unlike most people I get 10hrs at least on this one-no kidding.I guess i must have good skin for this one or maybe am not normal...I must admit I did have to use four sprays instead of my usual two with most fragrances and that could account for it "not leaving my skin" after those long hours at work in humid conditions.

I do like the lemon smell and the dry down is very good for me:slightly powdery and with the lemons still staying close to the skin.am not sure I have any other fragrance that I can compare this to.

It's disappointing to read some people dismiss this smell as cheap.it's very good to me and will recommend it.
wore it to sleep last nite and I didnt find it irritating to my nose.just a soft and discreet smell once you dont over apply.

Never really been a fan of aquatics but this one is making me have a change of mind.

Based on my experience,I will recommend this one highly for hot days and nights.Ignore all the longevity issues some moan about and give it a try.You might love it for its refreshing nature

I agree with most of the reviews here. Rather light and a little bit lemony. Smells clean and fresh and after drydown a hint of soapiness for me. Silage is on the weak side for me and it lasts for about 4 hours on my skin. A nice summer scent but for me, nothing too special.

An aquatic aroma, fresh and masculine. In the output appears yuzu intense, almost with lemon , pepper, and bassil for me very aromatic citrus, too ... but within minutes you can see a quiet and water lotus with sparkling notes of pepper and a touch of yuzu citrus fruity characteristic. A good perfume for lovers of Aromatic Aquatic.

In Asia, or at least the Philippines, this is our version of Le Male and Boss Bottled. It became EVERYONE'S signature scent when they realized that Cool Water was over-used by everyone.

The light blue liquid perfectly represents the smell. It's a refreshing aquatic with a hint, just a hint of powdery note. It lacks adequate staying power, just the typical Kenzo sillage and longevity.

I smelt the spout of the bottle and it smelt exactly like 273 Indigo to me, only less soapy. So yes, I like it.

Oh .. Very mild and kind and lovely man would wear it! He should be less man and more angel!
Wear it whenever you feel like an angel! Then people feel it too! Surely they should hug you to feel it!

He is a lemonade "rules". Very fresh and clean fragrance, very acceptable for hot days or nights.

It was my best perfume when I was junior in undergraduate university. It's cold and cool but really great for a snowy day. It's oriental, chic and strange. It can be a signature perfume as well. Its best part that I love is the back smell of tea in it. Of course it hasn't tea in the mixture according to the site info but some bitter sharp and acrid scent of botanic formula.
It's also a everyday perfume and casual either, but not proper for ceremonial properties. I don't agree with the rating as aromatic aquatic. It must be some oriental or spicy.
Anyway, its longevity and sillage are both perfect. Last longing and intense spreading.
You don't waste your money anyway, although it maybe so widespread as it became in my country once a time till now.

On my skin:
Top : A fresh opening yuzu!! (yes yuzu!!), and a little woody and spicy ath the same time 1-2 hours mark.

Middle: Technically, i get nothing =(

Base: I get nothing =(

An invigorating scent...that has poor longevity on me- =(

This is a good scent for fresh-citrusy scent, this is by far, one of the scents which is on par with l'eau d'issey and acqua di gio loser XD


A great scent for the day, or for the work.

Practically, it is a good scent, it is not ground breaking, it is an easy scent, girls might be pleased with the scent.

The country I am in has no 4 seasons, so it is either hot or cold weather. This works very well on both, but better daily, it is a little quiet at night or cold, but for sure it could be someone's date scent.

Scent: 4 (a scent to look forward to).

Sillage: 3 (not bad, not profounding, not shouting, just nice, by a whiff ppl will smell you).

Time length: 1 (=(((( poor on me).

Occasion: 3 (work, work, work).

For some reason, this scent reminds me of under the sun set, sipping my pina colada, enjoying the breeze of sea air, the sea smell and the beautiful bikini girls at the beach =)

I was going to order this blind, but got cold feet (nostrils), and went with MJ's Jordan instead (and the notes listed were incorrect for the Jordan)...and it smelled nothing like I'd expected! :-( I definitely should have ordered L'EPKPH instead!

This begins with a sparkling yuzu note (imagine grapefruit crossed with amalfi lemons!)and the clean scent of rosewood...amazing. So simple yet so elegant; watery, but not aquatic or too calone-y. The heartnotes of cool refreshing mint and lotus are sweet and soft. The drydown on this is subtle-an airy white musk with nuances of sheer cool pepper, but still warm and sexy. This begins calm and clear, then warms as it goes, like a body of water in the sunshine. It's like a dip in fresh water on a hot day...refreshing and cool at first, but sensual and warmly familiar once you're in it. I must get a bottle of this wondrous juice!

I do LOVE this fragrance, but with the sillage and the longevity issues...it went into the 3 range-but it is stunning, just a little light. It is worth owning nonetheless! I will be getting a large bottle, as soon as I can find one for a good price. This something anyone could wear regardless of age or occasion-or even gender, give it a try-it's REALLY nice...

Boy, when I first sprayed this, the top notes DID remind me of lemonade; ice-cold, sparkling lemonade, and lemon peel. And when the middle notes started to set in, I was finally convinced that I found my signature scent! It is clean, soft, relaxing & cooling in every way possible - I actually picture a "gushing waterfall on top of a mountain full of trees" whenever I smell this. It must be the lotus. It's close to being Zen-like, but I can safely say it remains masculine all-throughout its duration. This is perfect for men 18 to 30 years old (but I can imagine a woman pulling this off, though).

It would've been perfect, except that it doesn't last that long - maximum of an hour. But there are a few scents that make me feel this way, so what the heck.

I have not found the scent of my life. But if the L'Eau Par Kenzo had a better longevity, I think he would be the first candidate. Maybe it's the only perfume that can mess with my senses. He brings a sense of peace and adventure at the same time.

In some previous comment i saw some one saying it's lasting is 25 mins, i must say that he got some rotten/expired bottle, cus on me it lasts around a minimum of 30 mins and max of 31 mins..!

I don't usually go for the aquatic scents (they are so, so common) but this one is quite different. It is really refreshing when you first spray it on - heaps of sweet lemonade scent; quite the thing for summer.

Once dried down the scent is mostly sweet floral.

Not the longest - lasting; I've just reapplied after 3 hours and the first application was pretty generous... I would wear this anytime but I think it would be best for day-time use, especially during summer (which is quite long where I live)...

Just the thing for the weekend too; I'm thinking wear this with your best jeans, t-shirt and blazer to Sunday brunch at your fave cafe...

This one starts out with a lot of citrus but then the sourness dies down in about 10 minutes. That's when the fragrance really comes alive. The beauty of this scent is in its middle notes with the lotus. It smells really pure and natural. Smells like real lotus but better. However, it only last for lest than 1 hour then the boring peppery base shows up and L'Eau par Kenzo completely lose it shine. The base is so deja vu. It smell like a way waterdown version of CK Truth for men.

It's a peaceful, clean and fresh scent.

A charming simple scent that reminds me of waterfall or rainfall, after that I can feel the green notes of the grass, so fresh and clean then it becomes sweeter that drag you to the nature scent. Perfect for the real hot summer day.

The lasting power is not so good, disappear from skin within about 2-3 hours.

One of my favorite SUMMER fragrances and My KENZO favorite too.It is an interesting scent.Crisp.Cool,Modern and Light.

I find this cologne A little feminine Or at least Unisex in a NICE way.very fresh as that get you the sea definitely to walk in beach.

The base notes is quite Clean and Light.Anyway if you are a AQUATIC fans it is really worth a try.it is represent YOUNG.Safe and Good for EVERYDAY use.

SILLAGE?Pretty Good.

LONGEVITY?It is not unpleasant but i wish it had a better Longevity on my skin.

First, it begins as a nice sweet scent of refreshing watery lemonade. It never gets citric, and the scent pretty stay this way for a while till the mint and/or musk comes in. This Kenzo has a touch of woody musky'ness; just enough to give it a masculine edge and separate it from being unisex. However, I can see anybody wear this. Perfect for summer. It does not last very long, so get the biggest bottle when making a purchase.

Gives me a headache, more like a freezing aquatic. I do not like the Lotus and yu-zu notes in this. It adds to the fragrance being a synthetic one. Overall a 6/10

This is my all time favorite scent. This fragrance suits "a simple guy who doesn't need to prove himself. It is very mild, fresh and unique. I got plenty of compliments from this one. The silage is not so good compare to other but its perfectly refreshing anyway. I would keep it forever :) LOL

I'd like to tell you my story with this scent.
I had been to Lebanon, and of course got enchanted by the rich Lebanese cuisine. Whenever I travel I like to buy myself a bottle of perfume. I'd surely find a nice Arabic attar unavailable in the Western world if only I cared to do so. So bad I couldn't do this in Lebanon (maybe I was too busy eating like a pig, having happy hours in the bohemian neighbourhood of Gemmayzeh and staring at the gorgeous Lebanese women). On my way back, there was this connection in Paris that left me like under 15 minutes to buy a perfume bottle or some other goodies at the duty free shops. I just found it more cautious to run to the plane. Next stop Rio de Janeiro. In Rio, I stepped into the first store and tested some perfumes. That's when I came across L'Eau par Kenzo pour Homme. Its mint note caught me instantly. It reminded me so much of the Lebanese food. You know, they season their dishes with mint and zaatar, so Kenzo apparently made this scent with the humble intention to please me. I had to buy it on the spot.

Besides my sentiments about it, this eau has character. It manages to be simple and clean, but somewhat intriguing and complex. Like drinking scented water. I don't usually like citrusy notes, find them too common, but yuzu here doesn't take over the composition (except for the first sparkling notes). Despite having a liquid feel, I find this scent not sporty, but very adequate to wear outdoors or to a working day at the office. Or I wear it just to relax on my own, like a personal medicine (I'm sure everybody has something to call his personal medicine). And the best thing about this cologne is that it reminds me of the wonderful days I passed in Beirut, so it lifts me up to an undescribable mood. :)

For me it's an unissex.
My sister has a bottle (wanna steal it! LOL).
Unfortunatelly it doesn't stay with you all day long. But smells very fresh! So, enjoy this freshness a few hours! :)

A zen vision of an aromatic water. Kenzo tried to express a soft balance with the relation of liquid in someting fresh but intimate to wear.

I just bought l'Eau par Kenzo yesterday.
it's an very interesting fragrace and I love this so much.

start off with sharp notes of lime (well,that must be the yuzu), very2 fresh, and i love the drydown so much, soft spice with a little hint of vanilla.

longevity is quite good on me, about 6-7 hours. first 3 hours you can still smell the scent and after that it stays close to skin. the scent makes me feel good and relax :-)

Fresh and light, but unfortunately there's a sharp note that gives me a headache.

it's so fresh! all my friends like it and actually it's unisex. but it doesn't last long, only about 1 or 2 hours!!! however, i still love it.

Fresh, complex, rich, very thin definite smell of LIVE (alive) wood + aquatic componenta. That is the smell of spring time, when the nature is waking up and streams of running water are all around you. Very unusual, not musky, not sexy, but can be seductive by its originality.
It's dry ending is now imitated by STDupont "Passenger".
Very easy to wear. Not too strong. Impossible to overdose. Chemistry is good. Lasts 6+ hours with no or little changes.
One of the best purchases I have ever made.

my choice from kenzo, it is aromatic, aquatic, clean and fresh. perfect 4 everyday use, it's not overpowering at all is soft and the staying power is good. the top notes r great mixed with woodsy under tones. nice bottle like the other kenzo colognes.

I love this refreshing fragrance, but since I live in a hot city it lasts for less than 3 hours. Although many people may disagree, I credit it as an everyday choice.
