Saffron Amber Agarwood Cardamom Korres for men

Oh wow Korres, this is a good one. Warm, powdery wood surrounded by sweet spice, topped off with something smokey leathery and skin-like. It moulds with my skin in such harmony, I was so surprised by how fantastic it is.

I actually like that it doesn't project much, I prefer spicy woodsy scents to stay private, while scents of white flowers for example are made to be smelled a mile away. Longevity could be better, but I feel okay touching up perfumes that stay close to the skin during the day, you don't need to poison a whole building with your perfume when you do it.

There's one big silly thing about this scent though - why would this ever be marketed as a mens perfume? This is so unisex and non-macho! All about the taste of the wearer and nothing about the gender. Sweet powdery spices and woods, just thinking about beautiful artistic men like dancers and artists wearing this, or just sensing this on a beautiful man at the grocery store makes me all jittery. Almost so that I feel uneasy letting my boyfriend wear it out. Haha! It's such an attractive scent, a scent for a man who doesn't need to prove his masculinity, wearable both day and night.

On me as a woman this works better as a daytime scent, I would wear it with jeans and t-shirt or spray it on after a long day when I get out of the shower. More brands should market scents as unisex just for their own good, well, Korres for example. Letting more women feel okay to wear (or even try) this would be a really great thing.

I told my boyfriend a while ago that an interesting vegan mens perfume was on it's way here and he was very excited to try it on. Today it arrived without him knowing and I sprayed it on, then I recieved an unusally lovely compliment on my perfume, he gave me a swooning look, his eyes rolled backwards and he snuck his nose into my neck for a long long time. Good job Korres! I guess I'll need to buy a second bottle very soon as much as we both adore it.

well, i expected something else... this scent is really warm and spicy and powdery, but there is a strong leather-ish component which is very dominant (at least on my skin) which i don´t like so much. all in all a very decent only winter type of scent for the adult gentleman

great smell but it lasts only for few hours

dont know how reviewer got 8 hours smell ? did you carry bottle around and keep spraying ? Great scent but lasted 2 hours tops.

Earthy, warm and spicy. Not bad at all. Staying power quite good, at least on my skin aprox 8 hrs. First impresion was, that I found twin of Joop! Le bain, but as I couldn't compare those two hand to hand, can't trust myself 100%:) Maybe could say, that Korres is more spicy and Le bain more edible, as I mostly smell extrait of almonds in it;)
